    Lars Olsson and his son were extremely helpful through the entire process. They did not pressure us on a particular type of blind to select, but pointed out advantages/disadvantages of different types. They kept us informed as the blinds were ordered and received. Then they waited patiently while we had some painting completed first, which process turned out to take longer than we anticipated. When installed, a couple of the blinds needed extra adjusting so they would work correctly. The work was thorough and careful, and the blinds are a great enhancement to our home. We would definitely use them again.

    Everything went perfect. I had something very specific and very custom in mind. I worked with both Peggy Stein (mainly) and Michelle (initially) to complete the job. They listened to exactly what I wanted and the job turned out beautifully. I had four custom made, floor to ceiling, functional (ripplefold) panels custom made along with a custom ripplefold rod for my greatroom. Simply beautiful. The panels are 6 horizontal wide stripes that were hand sewn and lined. Communication is fantastic. The price is right and installation was perfect. UNLIKE ONE OTHER BUSINESS THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR AN ESTIMATE. Beware of places that do business that way. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE FINAL PRODUCT. A+

    PAINFUL experience. I called to get an estimate for great room curtains. Had something very specific in mind. Was told they charge for an in home estimate. Also, the very specific request I had, I was told couldn't be done, guess what, they're hanging in my house now done beautifully by another company. I had multiple phone conversations to make sure we were in the ballpark on price range and specifics on the job before they came out, before I paid. Everything sounded perfect. Super nice on the phone etc. I have 3 young kids and having someone come to my home is huge. Although everyone else in the market DOES NOT charge for this. So I went ahead and paid. The person who came out seemed prepared with pic and samples but couldn't give me a ballpark in person, however I didn't seem worried because we already discussed. She then wanted me to drive out to get the estimate. I drove out there, wasted 2 hours of my time and left WITHOUT my estimate. This went on for weeks. We were struggling to communicate with one another and I felt hooked because I paid them the stupid $100 fee. I started to have doubts with their ability to get me what I needed and have it actually work. Really annoyed that I paid for the designer to come to me and then I traveled out there 3 more times only to get estimates for something I didn't want. I wrote and email stating my disappointment and the designer, Cheri said she would refund my money. I said I can afford the amount in the estimate but the estimate but can you get me what I'm asking for at that amount? The estimate by the way was significantly higher than the pre appointment convo. When the estimates came in there were not what I wanted as far as product. I finally said forget it. Asked for my money back and I got no response. I even went to my credit card company to dispute and fabric farms is disputing back. I got nothing from them and had to pay $100. I found a much better company calico corners who completed the job beautifully and affordably and did not charge me for an estimate. NO ONE ELSE CHARGES FOR ESTIMATES IN THIS BUSINESS. Not even high end designers. The scary part is fabric farms suggested using hardware unsuitable for the job and fabric yardage significantly less than 5 other companies who provided estimates. Furthermore the structure and design were not conducive to a functional drapery system. Watch out for this company, they will hook you in with their stupid ESTIMATE / Measuring charge. Terrible terrible way to do business. Cheri said she's a big believer in karma. I find that ironic. Here's you $100 review / advertisement. Buyer beware.

    Called for estimate. Spent a lot of time with me on the phone. However, they were so late to the appointment I almost called and said forget it. Apparently their time is more valuable than mine. When they did show up they spent so much time with me that I was still willing to give them a chance. Said they would call the next week. Never heard from them. Given the first two variables very late and no call back (also prior to the appointment he called because he was worried he missed it apparently scheduling is problematic). I would not do business with a flaky company like this. I would be suspicious of investing my money in such an unreliable company. I can't believe they would spend so much time with a potential customer and not call back.

    I left a message on Sunday, November 10th and Barry called me back that very day. He explained that the brackets were covered under warranty even though they were 10 years old! I emailed him pictures of the brackets and he saw to it that the information was sent to Hunter Douglas. I received everything needed in 9business days. I was very happy with the service and will work with Barry in the future .

    Overall, it was a satisfactory experience. We purchased a "new" to them Hunter Douglas product which caused a little confusion in installation. The installer was polite, cleaned up after the installation, but a little chatty.

    The person who came out to look at the work that needed to be done was open to repairing the old blinds, but determined that was not the best course of action. I was on a tight timeline. He understood the special circumstances and expedited the process as much as possible.
    The actual installers were neat, polite, quick and very thoughtful. They did a nice job.

    The fabric blinds I took had not been cleaned in over 6 years and were an absolute mess. Jeff made no promises to get them clean, but did promise he would try his best. I knew they were a lost cause, but hey they were only 30.00 to clean and if they didn't come clean and I wanted to purchase new blinds, the 30.00 went to the cost of the new blinds.
    The blinds were a disaster and could not be improved. I had a price range to work with and Jeff made sure to get me the best deal for my money. I have hardly ever had a company work so hard for me when I wasn't even sure I was going to be a customer yet.

    Barry came out to my house the day after I contacted him.  I ordered three wood blinds.  They were delivered approximately two weeks later and Barry installed them.  Service and quality were great.  I will certainly recommend Just Blinds to others.
