    Julie's Mover's
I am the type of person who likes to read reviews before I choose a company to perform a service, and a whole house move is not an easy job, I wanted people to help us that would take good care of our things, and that we felt comfortable with. I did not know where to begin except for with the bigger companies. After getting quotes from three of the major moving companies, I could not believe the prices they were charging to move us 5 miles away. I heard of Julies movers through the Nextdoor Braumiller app, and gave her company a call. I spoke with her directly , and She gave me some information over the phone, then suggested that we schedule a free in home consultation, and came out to our house the next day. She was very professional and polite, and was very thorough when assessing our house prior to the move. She answered every question that we asked, and even gave us moving tips! She also talked about the extras including the wardrobe boxes, packing paper, etc. She came prepared with her schedule book and was able to pencil us in for the move the following week She gave us her undivided attention and said that she would have an estimate to us within 24 hours . The estimate came via email the next day, along with a personalized note from her. The estimate was very thorough. It went over everything we discussed, as well as other things about the move ( Price list for packing materials, etc) The day of the move came, and the gentlemen she sent over to help us move were prompt/on time , and very polite. They were very professional and worked very hard. They were very respectful, and made sure that our floors and our railings were covered up so they did not damage anything. The guys worked very well together as a team, and had great communication with each other. They also kept us in the loop ....with how much would fit in the truck, and how many trips it would take them to move all of our things. They packed the truck very well, making sure that our items were covered with moving blankets. No one took a smoke break or talked on their phones. They were very efficient, and worked very hard, while taking great care of our things. We paid an hourly rate, and they made every minute count! Overall our experience was a five-star experience, and we will be calling Julies Movers again very soon when we move again! The pricing is very reasonable, The movers worked quickly and efficiently, and we felt as if they considered our time and money valuable. A big thank you to Julie, Rube, Joe, Collin, Jayme and Kris !!

    Integrity Moving
This company is extremely punctual, professional, and affordable. Estimate and materials were clear, they called in advance, showed up on time, and the gentlemen working were truly fantastic. We could not ask for a better experience with a moving company. Final price even came in under estimate because they finished early.

Leaders Moving & Storage Co of Columbus
We had a terribly experience with Leaders related to the amount of damage caused to our belonging and to our brand new home. Leader's provided moving services for us in late November 2017. Almost every piece of furniture we own was damaged and most of our furniture is Amish made or of high quality. Everyday items like a Craftsman toolchest, carpet padding (large area rug) and items in boxes were also damaged. Items were missing. The biggest problem was the way they treated our brand new house. No protection was placed on the door jams, newel posts or floors. Our brand new front door needs to be restained because of the number of scratches and dings to the door and molding. All of our newel posts, and banister system may have to be replaced because the dents and dings are so deep that even stripping and sanding it won't completely repair it. The men loading and unloading were careless and rough with everything. To make matters worse, the level of coverage is depreciated value not replacement value (no one discussed this with us). Additionally, leaders requires a receipt for proof of purchase on everything. Therefore, if they ruin all of your mattress covers (and they likely will) the only way they will be replaced is if you have the receipt and they are brand new. There is absolutely no incentive for the people moving your items to treat them well when the coverage is depreciated value and they require a receipt. Thank goodness we have receipts for all of the furniture and high dollar items, but we don't for the smaller purchases. Some could be located on Amazon. (yay for Amazon), but they depreciate linens in 5 years making them worthless. They lost some ir-replaceable items and won't place a value on them. As if the move and damage weren't bad enough, working through the claim feels like a further violation because they really aren't paying for anything when many of our items have been damaged. They are working on repairing our home but with their contractors. Please be very cautious when using this company and at a minimum get replacement coverage. We could have had a bad crew that was tired. I know many have had good experiences, but you never know how "good" a company really is until you have to deal with the damage that was caused from the move. This company gets an "F" in all aspects of the moving process and follow up. The only bright person has been the operations manager. He has been to our house, was empathetic and apologetic and actually pointed out all of the places they made mistakes and said they would make it right. A sample of pictures is included.

    American Moving & Storage Solutions
This is the second time we used Chris and Stephan who we requested by name, because of willing, helpful and efficient protection of our possessions. Including a difficult to handle up and down washer/dryer combination. This was a partial move, and we will use them again.

    Mr. Mover of Ohio Inc
It was far more than we expected . They made sure all wooden floors were covered so not to scratch them. Coved all banister and any part of door openings so it didn't scratch or harm doors and furniture. The info we had before the move was very good it helped a lot . They set up our beds and asked on every box they took in our new home where it goes Which room etc . Our crew we had helped each other and you could see they were a team no stopping and more energy I've ever seen in movers . We have been in many countries moving this was the best .

    Legacy Moving Columbus
Josh Waller was easy to deal with on the phone. He had my MLS listing, so he could see what was in my house. Here is where I should have known I was in trouble....he asked me how many boxes I would be moving. I told him I had not packed them yet, but he wanted a guess, so I told him 100. I should not have done that. He should know what a 2500 sq ft house with a full basement contains. After I got done packing, I had about 170 boxes, and let him know that. He said they would pack all the heavy big stuff on the truck first, and I could move the boxes myself in my two SUV's. On moving day, the crew began loading the boxes first, even though I was instructing him to do otherwise. The crew leader assured me he knew what he was doing.....not to worry. When the truck was full, he had left many large items of furniture which would take another half truck load. Having paid him $2642 for the first truck load, he wanted another $2173 for the next load. The crew treated our stuff with respect, and we had only two items that were damaged, neither terribly. If they had done what they said they would do (load the truck with boxes last), this would be a great review. I found another mover that would move the remainder for $1248, which should have been two or three round trips with my SUV's. I would not recommend Legacy Movers.

    Julie's Mover's
When another mover failed to provide the services needed, Julie got the job done. She responded overnight with a three man crew, loaded the truck on a Saturday morning, they drove 200 miles later that day, unloaded the truck, for a very reasonable charge. She was personally on site for the loading process! I wish I had hired her first.

Leaders Moving & Storage Co of Columbus
How did it go? Definitely not as good as I expected from all of the other reviews I saw on Angie's list. The crew was very polite and professional. Our price was good and I like that we could get reimbursed for returning the boxes. In fact, I would recommend them to people, but there were so many things that got nicks and scratches on. I was so disappointed about that. We moved to Ohio by a different company years ago over 500 miles and the only thing that got a scratch was our freezer. Also, the person who packed our kitchen items forgot (?) to pack all of the items over the refrigerator, under the sink, the pot and pan lids, the items on the lowest shelf that were in the back and a couple of better dishes in the hutch. -- There were two things that I put in a claim for. They broke three spokes on my antique tea cart and loaded a pair of lampshades into their truck with no covering. Since it was raining on the day that we moved, the shades got streaked by the rainwater. They were very prompt in getting someone to our house to repair the tea cart. (We had to pay the $100 deductible.) They told me that since our lamps were over 10 years old, they were fully depreciated so they could not cover them. But as a goodwill gesture, they sent us a check for $25. -- They brought two trucks to load our things on. Either they didn't pack them as well as they should have or the person who decided how many trucks to send miscalculated, because my husband and I each had our cars loaded and we still had to make another trip back to get the reminder of the things (another car full). --- I had three of the plastic storage cabinets full of organized and folded fabric. I asked the person who came to our house to give us the quote if I should pack the fabric in boxes. He said that wouldn't be necessary because they could put plastic wrap around each of them and move them with the fabric in them. Big mistake. They did not put anything in the cabinets to stop my nicely, neatly folded fabric from shifting around. So any of the cabinets where the plastic wrap held, the fabric for the most part at least stay on the shelf they were on, but were all tossed about. One of the cabinets apparently opened when they were loading it in the rain because everything was just tossed back in the cabinet randomly. They got wet. So that means the fabric also got dirty. I had rewash a bunch of it. (One piece even got mildew on it because I didn't realize this had happened right away.) It would have been so, so much easier if I would have packed the fabric myself. It might have taken 30 minutes. Now I have been spending hours refolding, washing and organizing my cabinets again. -- I went on about this enough. You get the idea. Now I'm going to go back to refolding more fabric.

    PODS
I have the largest storage for the pod, and it will be transported across the country. When I made a decision about the pod, they said the smallest would accommodate me for an small two bedroom apartment. When the pod arrived, I saw that it wasn't going to work. I look at the website, and its for an one room. The medium one does not go across the country, and I had to get the largest. I lost a day of packing. The driver is fabulous. He was very friendly, and very efficient.

Leaders Moving & Storage Co of Columbus
I choose this company because they were recommended to me by family and friends and realtors. My experience with this company was HORRIBLE and my claim still hasn't been finalized almost 2 months later. All of the furniture that they moved was damaged. There were scratches on doors and walls, holes in walls and mud tracked in on new carpet and a window was broken.
There was absolutely no padding used during the entire move and no shoes removed or shoe covers put on. The 2 movers they sent were heard cursing by our new neighbors. The movers complained about having to take apart and put our bed back together which was a service I paid extra for. They left their tools at the old house which I had to drive back to get for them. I was told the move would take less than 2 hours and it took over 4 hours. Unfortunately my experience with this company worsened when I called to complain. I had to take time out of my busy schedule to arrange to meet with several different contractors to get my furniture repaired. Our new leather sectional looked like it was scratched by a large cat all over the back and side.  The contractors told Leaders that the sectional could be cosmetically fixed but not repaired.  The company offered to give me $150. As a settlement for a brand new leather sectional. I quickly told them that was unacceptable. I am still in the process of trying to get the sectional replaced but we are still waiting.  I received a call today while I was at work and in cofurt. I silenced the call and they called right back. I silenced it again and then got a text saying it was Leaders and they were trying to reach me. I then received 4 more calls back to back and I finally text them and said stop calling I am at work and in court and to just leave a voicemail. I never heard back from them. Never once has this company offered me anything for the hassle and inconvenience that they have caused me.
I will NEVER use this company again and would never recommend them to anyone!
