    Precision Building Service
We were very pleased with every aspect of our interactions with Precision. They are a small family run business and use Ohio made products. Very prompt response to a request for a quote. Took time with us to review door options and they were very patient while we decided on all the details. Installation went very well with no issues. Prompt arrival and took care in preparing area. Answered all questions and reviewed all options/details while working and when complete. I can't say enough good things about our interaction with Precision Building Service. Will would hire them again with no hesitation!!

    Epic Building Company Inc
Andy and the Epic Building company completed a large home renovation project adding two bathrooms and two bedrooms to our home in Lewis Center. I have worked with multiple contractors, but Epic Building Company has been one of the best, if not the best that I have experience with. They were wonderful to work with and always kept us in the loop with everything that was going on. They also realized that our project wasnt just a job but our home as well. Andy and Jeff went out of their way to make the renovation process as comfortable as possible while at the same time striving to complete quality work by set deadlines. I highly recommend Andy and Epic Builders to anyone considering a home remodel.

    Columbus Window & Door LLC
Everything went according to plan. The door was a good value and the installation went flawlessly. My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of work completed and would recommend Columbus Window and Door to our friends and family. Thank you Columbus Window and Door.

Renewal by Andersen / Southard Corp
Installation was done well and professionally. Very little lean up required. However, the sales person, Karen Otto, was severely lacking in professionalism, product knowledge and follow up. We asked that 2 window cranks for current windows be included with the purchase. If it wasn't for our contacting her about this and other issues regarding requests made, there would not have been any further contact or action. Even then, it was pitiful. Would not recommend this company due to the seriously lacking customer service and follow up.

    Columbus Window & Door LLC
Great! The owner was so pleasant to work with, the price was fair and door was high quality. The additional pet screen was worth every cent as our dogs have failed to push thru it. He uses Polaris doors and they have good ratings and reviews. As soon as I can afford it , i will be calling him for new windows.

    Universal Windows Direct of Columbus
Horrible experience. I should have known it was going to be bad when they send two sales reps to your house and lay it on thick but the price sounded good and they seemed nice enough so, we gave in. Bad choice. After getting some other quotes we found out their prices where WAY more than others around town and they were selling the same name brand doors as the other we got quotes form so it was a true apples to apples comparison. So, when we tried to call the sales reps, like we were told to do, the ones phone went to a voicemail box that was full and unable to leave a message and the other never return our calls. So, after dealing with a few people in the office about getting the price down, like they said they would, we still went with them but they sure made us feel like we were the ones racking them over the coals. We made sure to tell them of all the changes we wanted from when the sales reps were first out but someone didnt write it all down nor did they send us a new estimate because when I got home to see our new doors they didnt install the correct side lights and after reviewing everything it was because they were going off the original order not what we talked to someone on the phone about. The team of people they had come out to do the installation were nice and prompt but after looking at the installation job I found it to be poor. The cocking they put in was so thick it took days to dry and it was so uneven that it is on our walls and they put two holes in the wall that they didnt bother to try and fix. So, we left a review to which someone did respond and we have been talking to their new Columbus rep about getting the installation issues fixed. They were scheduled to come out and fix everything on a Tuesday and we were told on the phone and via email that someone would be at our house at 3pm or later. So, I rearranged my schedule to be home by 2:30pm just in case they made it over a bit early. Only to get a call from my husband that they were at our house at 2pm and since no one was home we will have to reschedule. Even though there was issues on the outside that they could have worked on while no one was here. Needless to say I would not recommend this company to anyone. Their prices are ridiculous, the group of people we worked with was less than helpful and we are still waiting 4 months later to get issues fixed.

    Honey to Do Ltd
This was by far my best experience with a handyman type contractor. The only aspect that I didn't rate excellent was responsiveness, and that is only because there would be longer than usual periods of time with no updates. I would however receive a response shortly after I reached out on my own for an update. John was very trustworthy and upfront about the work to be done. He even gave us some tips on our DIY basement finishing project. To me, that really tells you that he likes to see things done correctly, which is extremely important. Unfortunately, we needed a custom size door, which bumped up the price considerably, and John checked with a few different suppliers to find the best deal for us. Just the door was nearly half of the total price of the job. On this particular project, I did not compare prices with different contractors, so I'm not sure if it's high or low, but it was worth it for the quality of work that was performed. John and his associate really did a nice job on the door. They took care with each step of the install, caulking and insulating where needed. Our basement already felt warmer the next day, it was cold then. Another detail that really impressed me was that they neatly caulked all the seams around the trim, a great finishing touch. In my opinion, it was well worth the money to have it done right, the way I would do it myself.

    Ohio Exteriors LLC
We called Ohio Exterior, among others, for a quote for several jobs we needed done. James Green was timely when responding and very easy to work with. He was reasonable with his quote and finished everything we asked him to do in an expected time frame and within his quoted price. His team was very skilled, professional and hard working. We could not have asked for a better team to work with. We would use Ohio Exteriors LLC again in a heartbeat.

I have been very satisfied my contractor and their attention and cooperation from the very start. They have been great in understanding what I needed and were proactive in recommending resolutions. They have been very good at follow-up. The work performed was of superior quality and it was been a very positive experience.

THe first installation went pretty smooth. I had purchased new cedar trim for this project. The trim installation went pretty well. The door locks not so well. Sloppy installation. Pointed this out to my salesman. The door itself was defective from the manufacture. They sent a factory rep and had to wait for them to build a new door. Now the second installation by the same installation crew. When they removed the new cedar trim apprently they did not mark where the cedar trim was suppose to go back to. had to do extra cocking to fill huge gaps and still the same door lock problems from the first installation fit and finish pretty poor. Another issue because I had to wait on the second door it turned cold and not able to treat the trim until this spring the contractor left me with this problem which had added to my overall disappointed, if I had to do it again I would have bought a new door from Home Depot and installed it myself.
