Polaris Wellness Acupuncture & Chiropractic Center
I have never been to a chiropractor before so I was unsure what to expect. I have now been here many times and will not go anywhere else! The entire staff makes you feel very comfortable and is very knowledgeable in their profession. They take the time to answer any and all questions. I highly recommend them many times over!!

It didn't really help me. I went there for my back and it kind of didn't help. I didn't have to pay anything more. They wanted me to go back but I didn't. I guess I would recommend them if they have a problem other than mine. They have some good equipment. The chiropractor was very, very nice. I think he is the owner. I think they could work for most people.

I have been using him for 3 years now.  He is very professional and his ability to help makes me go back to him.  He explains everything to you to make you understand and it is a very happy environment to be around.

    Leaf, Dr. Brian
My wife had a course of treatment with Dr. Leaf. She was told that she had to pay out of pocket until she met the insurance deductible. She did so, paying about $52 per visit. On what turned out to be her last visit she was told that because of a mistake she now owed about $70 for that visit. At that point she paid, but said she would not be returning. Today we got a bill saying she owed ANOTHER $36. When she caled, Leaf's office said there had been a mistake in what she was charged and so she owed another $36. She said she didn't understand why she needed to pay when the mistake, if there was a mistake, was theirs. She plans to pay simply b ecause she wants to avoid the hassle. But everyone be warned: Examin e all charges and clarify in advance what this doctor plans to charge you because you may be in for a surpris

I have been seeing the chiropractor for about 3 months. My husband has been seeing them for quite sometime. Everything has gone fine with me so far. Dr. Wallace is very thorough and takes plenty of time with his patients. I have had no problem scheduling appointments with the doctor. He is new to the area and working on building his practice.

I also want to add that I had surgery on my back in 2008 for a disk problem and the surgen informed me of the arthritis that would some day be a problem. My treatment at amerihealth made it possible for me to control back pain . I feel great .

Dr. Stephen Wallace replaced Dr. Henderson whom I saw for a few weeks before Dr. Wallace became the resident chiropractor.
He is much more thorough and intuitive.
Most of the prior Chiropractors, I have seen over the past 20 years were 5 minutes or less, some of them a lot less, but he questions my recurring symptoms and last visit treatment to evaluate how it has worked. I am usually with him a minimum of 15 minutes, so I feel that I get great value for the dollars paid.

Gregory K Mellon DC, DABCO Chiropractor
I went to him years ago. He really helped with my back quite a bit. This time when I had problems with my back again, I went to him. He doesn't scare me and is real smooth. It is amazing to see some of the things that he does. He went beyond what I expected him to. He explained some of the medical details about why my back was like it was. He was real knowledgeable and real helpful.

    Leaf, Dr. Brian
Dr. Leaf is a bright young man who has all the appropriate schooling to be practicing chiropractic care. He seems to be very thorough and down to earth about this type of health care. His staff is very knowledgeable and his bookkeeper also, are all intelligent and seem able to communicate effectively and really care about your physical concerns. They would call and ask me how I am doing and maketime if I am in great pain or have a migraine and need to get right in.
They have a lot of the and quot;newand quot; technology and plenty of supplements, with the knowledge to help you know what might be best. They also have a and quot;roller tableand quot; which I LOVE!!!!! This helps me loosen up before my adjustment and when you have repetitive migraines, this is a wonderful thing!
There are a couple of things I don't like about the practice and I'll share them now. The first thing I don't like about this practice is that he likes to get you on multiple supplements, and it's hard to tell what is working and what might not be working. Also, he is a young healthy man, and sometimes he doesn't understand if a woman has hormonal things that might be affecting things like overweight, migraines, or other things a woman struggles with. He thinks you should be able to just lost weight using his methods and that's not always the and quot;bestand quot; thing or there may be other things, like hormones, specifically for women, that will affect the effectiveness of his methods. This doesn't affect the care really though. The bottom line is that you know your own body and you should be doing your own research and trying to discover what works best for you and what doesn't work best. He's only human and can't wave a magic wand and and quot;make it all betterand quot;. He is, however, VERY GOOD as a chiropractor and I would trust him completely and recommend him solidly. He takes his time and cares for his patients, listening to every thing they might share with him.
