    I have never been to a chiropractor before so I was unsure what to expect. I have now been here many times and will not go anywhere else! The entire staff makes you feel very comfortable and is very knowledgeable in their profession. They take the time to answer any and all questions. I highly recommend them many times over!!

    It didn't really help me. I went there for my back and it kind of didn't help. I didn't have to pay anything more. They wanted me to go back but I didn't. I guess I would recommend them if they have a problem other than mine. They have some good equipment. The chiropractor was very, very nice. I think he is the owner. I think they could work for most people.

    She did exercises with me and pulling on or a special way to move the hips to get them to loosen up. She ran me through my exercises and made sure I was doing everything right. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. I was always greeted when I came in and questions were always answered. People were friendly, all of them. The University is a teaching hospital so for awhile I had a student that was working with me, under supervision and even that was wonderful. It was a really good place and she was really good.
    My doctor is in that building and this other doctor that does sports medicine. He's looking at my X-Rays and says something I said I have no idea what you just said. He said, come here and I'll show you. And right there, he explained everything. I tend to ask a lot of questions. All of them, they would explain to me, okay this muscle is doing this and this muscle is doing this and this is what you're working on.

    Setting the appt was easy enough but the day of the appt we waited nearly 2 hours to see the doctor.  Our appt was at 9:30 and at 11 the doctor finally came in to the room.  The exam lasted approx 5-10 minutes.  Was prescribed pain meds and given a cursory diagnosis of arthritus.  We may as well have been examined by the receptionist for all the time and attention the doctor gave, never mind lack of explanation, alternatives etc. presented to us.  We were given some kind of equipment to provide pain relief and were not given any cost for it, so after leaving the appt I tried calling to find out how much we'd be charged for the equipment and did not hear back from the vm I left.  The next day I called and spoke to the front desk and told them I hadn't received a call back and had a question about equipment cost and was treated rudely, put on hold for 5 minutes, and when that hold time was up the person came back on and told me to keep holding and put me back on hold without apologizing, etc.  My only alternative now seems to be to return the equipment without using it because I don't want to be surprised by a huge bill. The entire experience with them has been unpleasant and just keeps getting worse.  Do yourself a favor and don't go see them.

    My wife had a course of treatment with Dr. Leaf. She was told that she had to pay out of pocket until she met the insurance deductible. She did so, paying about $52 per visit. On what turned out to be her last visit she was told that because of a mistake she now owed about $70 for that visit. At that point she paid, but said she would not be returning. Today we got a bill saying she owed ANOTHER $36. When she caled, Leaf's office said there had been a mistake in what she was charged and so she owed another $36. She said she didn't understand why she needed to pay when the mistake, if there was a mistake, was theirs. She plans to pay simply b ecause she wants to avoid the hassle. But everyone be warned: Examin e all charges and clarify in advance what this doctor plans to charge you because you may be in for a surpris

    I have been seeing the chiropractor for about 3 months. My husband has been seeing them for quite sometime. Everything has gone fine with me so far. Dr. Wallace is very thorough and takes plenty of time with his patients. I have had no problem scheduling appointments with the doctor. He is new to the area and working on building his practice.

    I would highly recommend Dr. Whitfield if you are looking for naturopathic medicine.  He is kind, caring, and extremely responsive to patients needs.  He is respectful and includes the patient in decisions involving the treatment plan.  Great staff, great doctor!!
