His quote was very competitive for the job. We also added blown in insulation to the job. The insulation went in first. Guys were there right on time. Although they had an equipment issue that slowed them a while, job was done quickly and cleanly. The roof came a week later. Again, the guys showed up as planned. They explained that they needed to complete the garage the next day as they were behind slightly due to weather but for us it was no issue. There were no surprises. Clean up was good and roof looks great. As these things go, this was as painless a process as I could have hoped for. I would certainly recommend and already have for the insulation.- Scott B.

ARegency Design + BuildI found Regency Design and Build on Angie's list and based on my discussions with Norm and the detailed quality of the proposal he gave me, I decided to hire them for the major upgrades at my home in Solon. I live out of state, so it was important to hire a company that knew what they were doing, is ethical, honest, and loved my home as much as I did. The crew including Eli, Nicole, Mo, Charlie, and Lisa were incredibly generous with their time and TLC. Norm did a number of video calls with me to show me the status of my work and Eli took lots of pictures and loaded them to their Buildertrend website so I could view them. Nicole was phenomenal with the calendar, scheduling, follow-ups, and keeping me apprised of the job completion status and the team overall ESPECIALLY NORM went above and beyond to address my concerns and needs. Norm was also fair and honest in the pricing of change orders or unforeseen items. He took full responsibility for the performance and quality of the job his team did, addressing gaps immediately without complaining. My project was over $100k and Norm and team delivered an excellent quality job for my investment. I very rarely do reviews of companies and typically only do them when I am really unhappy with the quality of a company's job. This was different. I felt compelled to share my truth about Norm and Regency Design and Build's quality and professionalism. I will likely use them again for a future project.- Abbey O.

They were pleasant, punctual, and worked quickly and efficiently. We especially appreciated the attention to detail that Gary gave to the wood trim and caulking. All the windows and doors are good quality and look great, particularly the new sill and trim. They also were careful to protect our carpeting and helped move two pieces of heavy furniture. A very experienced crew handled the job with military precision. As the old vinyl came off, new insulation and new vinyl went up. Always courteous, the crew and the foreman kept me appraised of the progress and presented me with options on how to handle certain things. AHome Exteriors Roofing, Siding and WindowsI called two different companies for estimates. Home Exteriors had very good reviews on Angie's List so I wanted to meet with them first. I chose Home Exteriors after meeting with Gary and getting a great estimate. I canceled the other estimate and we signed a contract on the spot. I was that impressed. He was very honest, knowledgeable, and really cared about our situation. We had just moved in to our house in May and then my husband found out he lost his job the day before Gary came to do the estimate. To top it off, our insurance company did not want to pay for a full roof replacement (which was really needed). They only wanted to do the damaged side. Gary was genuinely sympathetic and worked hard to give us the lowest price with the best materials for our home. The crew showed up in the morning as I was leaving for work and was gone by the afternoon. They cleaned up everything so well that I couldn't even tell they had been there except for our beautiful new roof. The only issue we had was that there was additional damage found that the insurance company had not figured into our claim. Gary had told me that any additional damage found would be photographed to show our agent so that we could be reimbursed for any additional expenses. The crew failed to photograph the damage to the plywood under the roof before replacing it. When this material charge showed up on our bill and no photographs were given to us, I contacted Gary and the materials charge was removed from our bill immediately and without question. That is excellence in customer service. I was absolutely, 100% satisfied from start to finish and recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who wants first rate work and excellent customer service.- Lisa E.

BOur experience was as expected. The install was delayed due to COVID restrictions on importing materials but only by 2 weeks. The crew who installed was very nice and professional. Our only concern was when outside one of the crew members was smoking a lot. Even when using power tools. That seems unsafe to me. They did a nice job in cleaning up as well. Later that day the company called to see how things went. We explained about the smoking but she just said “well in this profession some of the guys do that. We can’t stop them”. The sales person was nice and the person who did the measurements did a good job. We still think the price was a bit high but so were all the estimates. We went with them because of the lifetime warranty. Haven’t had to use it yet. We did not use their financing so we cannot speak to that. Overall it seemed to be a routine job. So far we are pleased.

AI dealt with Matt from M & M to retile our backsplash in the kitchen. We had already purchased the tile. Jeff was the person who did the project. He demoed the old tile and kept the place as clean as possible. He suggested putting under cabinet lights in, and he did that also. He was fantastic at putting up my rather difficult tile. The project turned out great and I can't wait to show it off to family at Thanksgiving.
