    Re-Bath of Dayton
I didn't ask them to contact me. They harassed me by e-mail and phone. They used an underhanded method to acquire my parents' phone number to harass them. Even though I wrote an initial review against them on a different site, they persisted in harassing me. I've even cited federal law against e-mail harassment, but that doesn't deter them. I'm thinking against sending my evidence against them to the relevant law enforcement agencies.

    Dayton Home Remodeling
I contacted Dayton Home Remodeling as I badly needed a TOTAL gutting and remodeling of my old worn out bathroom. My bathroom is very small but had a very large list of problems. Just about everything that could possibly be an issue with this worn out bathroom was just that, simply everything needed to be replaced or fixed. From my first telephone contact with the company they kept in touch, always responsive to my calls and/or questions in a very timely manner. I was continually updated with any concerns or issues that needed addressing. And believe it or not, the job was completed within the time-frame as originally promised. I truly feel as though I hit the lottery once the company assigned Richard to the task of making all my issues go away. This man takes no shortcuts; his work ethic seems to be that there is simply one best/correct way of solving a problem and perhaps many other ways. He always selects the best/correct way even if it is far from the easiest way. Richard constantly gave the impression that this was his personal bathroom and was as particular as you would expect if it were his own. Clearly, he takes pride in every detail of each task presented. Needless to say, I am beyond delighted with the total beautiful and functional bathroom that was created by Richard. Simply put: If you are looking for a problem free solution to your remodeling project I could not recommend Dayton Home Remodeling more highly. And if you manage to really hit the lottery by having Richard assigned to your project, you can most certainly be rest assured that he won't relax until all is more superior than you ever anticipated. I am a totally Happy Camper! Jim Kettering OH

    Total Home Pros, LLC
The Total Home Pros team showed up as scheduled and began the work we requested. We have been serviced by this company for approximately 3 years and are always so glad to see them when we have a need to call them to come out. They are personable, engaging to the proper extent and knowledgeable in the work to be accomplished. They get it done! Here is a partial of the email I sent to their office after they worked at our office today. "Once again, your team - this time Joel and Danny as we always appreciate the talents of Todd as well arrived and provided excellent service for our Support team. The gutters (now guarded) look great, then they stepped in to remove and remount a couple boards and efficiently and quickly replaced a lap drawer to the desk where the boards were mounted, as well as the various additional items we requested. Thank you Total Home Pros LLC for your service. Their attitude and willingness to serve and provide the service as we requested is REFRESHING AND APPRECIATED.

    Craftsmen Home Improvements
I expended a lot of time getting and evaluating 4 quotes. I ultimately chose the more expensive Craftsman after reading their reviews on Yelp, Angie's List and the Better Business Bureau. This decision was based on their proven record of customer satisfaction and the assurance that I would receive quality work by extremely experienced subcontractors resulting in less frustration and delays, along with a speedy two week turnaround. This was NOT, however, the case. This installation has been riddled with delay after delay and mistake after mistake. Some were manufacturer defects and some were subcontractor created problems. We were on contract for a two week renovation, however, these delays led to a nine week turnaround for project completion of our master bath! Granted one delay took a week and a half with the counter tops being drastically different from the matching bench. Craftsman went to bat with the supplier over this and I received different counters/bench that were substantially more satisfactory. While in the end, I did wind up with a pretty bathroom, getting there was VERY stressful and not worth the money I paid for what should have been a much smoother process. In specific, the WORST part was yet to come at the final inspection when the General Manager arrived. We were discussing the job and problems in hopes of receiving a price reduction resolution for all our trouble and remaining deficiencies. This man became agitated and defensive to the point of screaming and yelling at us in our bathroom! He claimed all of the problems we had to deal with were either Manufacturers errors, supplier errors or HUMAN errors ~ Never craftsmen. He was out of control and extremely unprofessional. He was a bully. In his anger, he even threatened to put a lien on our house before we could reach an agreement! Dealing with this level of hostility was hardly worth the hard-earned price reduction of $500 I finally received on this expensive $23,579 project for all our trouble and displacement. BEWARE of this company. A lot of headaches and excuses. I would NOT recommend them.

Superior Lawn Care & Home Improvements
    1. Hired Donnie Holland 1 July Fired 18 July for not showing up to work when he said he would. 2. Garage entance door was scraped & bare minimum of 1/2 door was sanded down. No drop cloth was used & he did NOT clean his mess up. Back door to house was never scraped or sanded. 3. Privacy gate was to have 2 black brackets taken off & replaced with 3 steel brackets & their bolts. Donnie refused to take black brackets off & replace with new brackets & bolts & bandaid the black brackets & steel bolts which do NOT match & the gate now is worse off & is lopside & wont open or close right. The bolts he used came so far out the backside, that if I hadn't told him to cut those off, that were a hazzard, he would have never tiuched them. 4. Donnie was to repair plaster cracks in bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, nook, and step area going outside. Repaired plaster cracks & skim coated back bedroom with wrong compound which means the cracks will be back again shortly, cracks were filled unevenly, same with skim coat. Skim coat is uneven & again wrong compound was used, not sanded or wiprd down, the room was left unfinished. He started on the 2nd bedroom & is same with plaster cracks he started. Never made it to the other rooms. 5. The wall paper wss to be torn down but is still left on wall, no plaster cracks were filled at all. The bathroom sink was torn out & thrown out into the back yard instead of disposed of, same with the panelling. I have no where but the kitchen sink to brush my teeth, wash my hand or face & yet no matter what I said to them NOT to wash their tools in the kitchen sink they continued to do so. They Fflled in a hole where a medicine cabinet was with drywall, it is uneven & nothing was done with correcting the matter. 6. Donnie is to build front steps, this never got started. 7. He was to repair the corner bricks on the house & concrete that had cracked & crumbled. He repaired it by putting a terracotta dye into a bucket of mortar that did NOT match the brick which was tan. He used "glue, mortar, & sand from my backyard. This cracked & recracked & the sand just crumbled timt after time. He refused to use the proper material's to fix the problem. Stoill is not corrected & unfinished. 8. The gutter at the top corner of the house need a V to catch the water coming from the roof. I told him i had the down spout which the gutter & down spout were large not small. So he still went out & bought all the materials, which i did NOT need, on my credit card, & put up the small one imstead of just getting what was needed. The V gutter is so small that he made, the rain runs down the roof & over the gutter. NOT into the gutter. 9. I said to Donnie I was going to put an old fashion screen dor on and, he would not let me. He said all you need is a handle. No matter what i said he wanted the easiest way out so he bought a screen door handle, installrd it & it won't stay latched! Another thing that doesnt work& was not wanted. 10. Not only did he talk me into paying for everytjing on my credit card, he bought himself & his 2 buddies supplies to work with. He bought a 5 or 6 gal can of paint for $107 which only needed 1 or 2 gallons of paint, mortar also in a 5 or 6 gallon can for which he didnt even use 1/3 to repair the brick & the piece next to it. He charged ul over $300 of things that were mostly NOT required for me to buy! And. When I fired him I told him to return evrrthing and the only thing he brought back was for skim coating a quick domething or other. I packed up all his tools and equipment, hsd him come to the house after 10 am & pickrd them up. In fact I didnt let him back in my house, I handed him his things out the back door. Im now in the process of seeing the prosecuting attorneys to see whst can br done to get money back. I feel as if I have been preyed upon so I tell you mow BEWARE, he does not know whst he is doing & has no responsibility to show up. One more thing, I hired an exterior painting company to paint my house. Donnie bullied them so badly by telling them they were doing things wrong I almost lost the contract, & the people he was bullying refused to return so, they hsd to have another team come out to paint the house, and they did a beautiful job!

    All American Home Remodeling Inc
Our overall experience was amazing. Chad was our lead contractor and he did an amazing job. We had a complete gut of our Master Bathroom. Had the shower made bigger and we absolutely love it. All the bells and whistles that we wanted. Chris was so understanding and very professional. We had a few minor issues with electrical and plumbing and we are so glad they were identified and fixed properly. We will definitely used them again in the future.

    Total Home Pros, LLC
Bert (owner) quoted the work and the pricing was extraordinarily good. That should have been the primary warning sign. They sent skilled and unskilled labor to start the job as agreed, The field labor generally played their role well in the early stages. As the job progressed it became clear that Total Home Pros didn't really have access to all the trades necessary to do their quoted tasks. They leaned on the 1 skilled laborer assigned too heavily and that person got frustrated with the work. He refused to do some tasks quoted which we contracted with other subcontractors. He had to be coaxed back to complete some 1/4 done work phases. Then, Total Home Pro's (THP's) left the field with drywall work that hadn't been finished (plumbing caps exposed, unsanded drywall while quote said drywall would be "paint ready"), with plumbing work partially done (old plumbing disconnected and reconfigured but new sink not plumbed to water supply or drainage) and carpentry partially complete (kitchen cabinets raised in elevation with unfinished lumber just painted white but not finished to cabinet quality). Nearest we could tell, the invoice about matched the hours they spent at a reasonable rate/hour of labor but we will have to general contract the completion of most facets of their work. Contractors may not relish doing the difficult finish work left by THP's. THP's position is that their quote didn't include sanding walls , plumbing drains, finishing cabinetry, etc. Total Home Pros did refer an excellent electrician who finished many tasks quoted (and many others too) at night while moonlighting from a day job which has created project delays but we are thankful to have him. If you are looking for a contractor who quotes by the task (not hours incurred), will finish the portions of the task quoted that work for them, bill you a reasonable amount for their hours incurred and leave the field for you to finish the work, Total Home Pro's is your firm.

Even though we signed the contract and made a down payment in Jan 10, 2019 we were told, up front, that our bathrooms would not get started for several months because the best guy for the job, George Rager, was working on another job. We were fine waiting for the best guy for the job because we wanted the job done right! The job was started April 15, 2019. Once the job started, George was here everyday through the week working hard measuring, cutting, redirecting water pipes, setting schuster board, ceramic and porcelain tile to create bathrooms that were both beautiful and functional to our needs. My husband and I were both impressed with George and his workmanship and work ethic. George was very meticulous with his work and took pride in a job well done. He asked our input along the way to ensure we were getting what we wanted. The end result was absolutely stunning! We love both bathrooms! We liked that the company commits to working one job at a time and stays on the job until it is completed. Thanks George for your great work! We miss you George!

    Mowery Construction Inc
From start to finish, our experience was top notch. We received fantastic consultations as we were planning the project, the pricing was very transparent and fair, the project ran on time and on budget and the crew was incredibly professional. Their work was impressive and detailed, not to mention they kept an extremely clean work site. We will never use anyone else!
