Dr. O'Donnell is a good doc, but this office is exceptionally slow. Over the last 2-3 years, it's been normal to wait 20 minutes after my appointment start time to get called back, and another 45 minutes to two hours total waiting in the back room between seeing the nurse and the doc. Even 'first thing' morning appointments scheduled weeks in advance for a simple check-up do not get around this issue. If it was once, it would be excusable (sometimes someone has an unexpectly complex probelm); but every time I've been there it's like this (6-8 times in a row).

My wife's 1st appointment, this past January of 2017 was very awkward to say the least. We were made to pay up front, nearly $200 at each appointment and an extra $50 on two separate occasions. Once for calling to reschedule and again for missing an appointment. I have united health care coverage for my entire family through my place of employment. However, because my wife had Govt. health ins. several years before our marriage, as a single, working mother of four; we were made to pay out of pocket until human services cleared any connections with my wife. To add to the absurdity of this, they had my wife sign a paper which explained that other facilities would honor our ins. without having to wait for the Gov. office to drop all ties but that they will only take self pay until all connections were severed. So during our first meeting with Dr. Laub, he explained that they DO NOT give any kind of pain injections; adding that, if he thought it was needed, we'd be sent to the hospital for that. Instead, he would be using a method of touching in various ways, ultimately alleviating any pain causing issues. Having five children at home and Dr. Laub's office being only a 5 minute drive away; we felt that as long as my wife was getting her medicine, we would be thankful. Without sounding trivial or harsh, Dr. Laub is an extremely overweight, elderly man who irritatingly wasted a substantial amount of our time ( when allotted time was exceeded an adjustment amount was demanded before exiting) with annoying witticism and rambling about aspects of his life neither of us wanted to hear. My wife felt extremely uncomfortable because his hands shook while touching her; especially after several "touching" appointments proved to be useless! His feebleness made even simple exercises such as, "push against my hand with your leg as hard as you can" a ridiculous request, even from a 120 lb lady. Most unprofessionally, however occurred recently after Dr. Laub wrote my wife a prescription increasing the mg. of a med she was already taking. Expectedly, the pharmacy notified us that our ins., needed the Dr . to give an approval, proving that the increase wasn't a mistake (understandable considering the numerous mistakes witnessed throughout our short time with Pain Alternatives, Ex. telling the girl holding the laptop, the wrong name of a medication to be prescribed that was discussed just minutes earlier; to agreeing on a follow up visit, but first needing guidance to figure out todays date and more that takes too long to write) to finish, after a week without an update or anything, we called again asking for normal compliance with the pharmacy to get the meds that Dr. Laub prescribed a week ago!! All our efforts were unsuccessful! More than once, the office staff deceptively acted as if the pharmacy was at fault for the hold on the prescription. Then they began telling us to go to a, "REAL Pain Management place" because we troubled them immensely by asking for them to comply with pharmacy protocol. Unimaginably after finally receiving a call from the office to come in and get the prescription's written approval, that is ready and waiting; I navely went to fetch the note again! However upon arriving, the office drama junkie, AKA Dena M Thompson, whom we'd never seen before, screams at the receptionist to slam the window shut! Reluctantly she complies, as I stand motionless in shock. Needless to say, my wife has decided never to take any medication requiring underground types again!! Also, we've realized that drug dealers come in all shapes, sizes and even in suburban Dr. offices!! Not sure about any credentials with this guy but we learned to check out our doctors before putting our lives in their hands! I'd do business with an inmate before I paid this quack again!

Insurance would not authorize, the cream
because they know more than any doctor, Bellbrook FP was going to get back to
me with a replacement cream. Here it is August and they still have not gotten
back to me.  I had to pay out of
pocket for a real doctor to get treatment. The real doctor looked at my hands
made the diagnosis and prescribed a cream and within TWO day my hands were much
better.  Only return to Bellbrook because
they accept my insurance but for nothing life threating.  Knowing myself I went in for bronchitis and
was told I have a virus, had to go the entire weekend with temp. spiking over
102 went in Monday and was told he had no problem with me having a temperature
over 102! Really, and he was not going to give me anything for bronchitis
because it was a virus.  So I had to
endure a useless test when the tech came in to do a throat swab when they were
to be doing a nose swab.  The dr.
corrected his mistake and found out I truly did know that I had bronchitis and
was prescribed the medication and did get better.  You have to be your own advocate or you could

She performed or prescribed all the test necessary on an annual physical.  She is very caring and compassionate.  I am
really impressed with her office staff, too. Sometimes Dr. Jeanne is the one to call you with results, not her staff.

Dr. Davis is fantastic.  He is personable and cares for his patients.  He is concerned about the problems and makes every effort to find a solution.  He is upbeat, positive and makes you feel important.  My family all sees Dr. Davis and we all love him.  We were searching for a doctor a couple years ago and met him at an urgent care that he was working at.  We knew at that time we wanted him for our primary physician.

I've been seeing her for about four years. I was referred to her by a family member. She has a very good bedside manner. She always has suggestions for better health. She's not a very clinical type of doctor in that she prescribes medications if needed, but she's open to other alternatives also. The staff is very personable and very friendly.

He is a wonderful doctor and many of our friends use him too. He came to our church and talked about what happens and what we should be aware of when we get older. He is just great. I wished I could give him an A+.

I have been seeing the doctor for about 3 years. He is thorough and is a great listener. He will take in to consideration your concerns. He is easy to schedule an appointment with. He will make an exception if I need him to. I injured my arm and he was able to see me right away before I left for a trip. The office staff is very nice to work with.

Dr. Fleagle has been my internist since I first moved to Dayton in 1999. He is wonderful -- calm, knowledgeable, understanding. Unlike most doctors who rush in and our, Dr. Fleagle really takes his time with you. I don't understand how he makes enough money to live on!!

We've lived in several places and it is, I thought was the best doctor's office I have encountered anywhere. The nurses are incredibly professional and we've been with Dr. Mchenry for over 20 years. We parted. We have moved here. Been with him for entire time here in Ohio and so he treats the entire family. He certainly knows the specialist to refer you to. I would use him again in the future.
