    I thought the tires might need to be balanced, but they only had 15,000 miles on them. They test drove the van, it wasn't vibrating, so no additional work was needed. I bought the tires there, so the tire rotation was free!

    The man I dealt with said that they normally don't work with steel rims but they offered to do so anyway for a higher charge than they would for non-steel rims.  They cleaned up a set of 30-year-old rims and powder-coated and clear-coated them.  They look like new and were finished ahead of when they were promised - less than a week.  They also mounted a set of new tires for $10 per wheel.
    Prior to coming to Buckeye, I took one of the rims to a similar shop just up the street but the Buckeye tech said that the paint was simply sprayed on, which I wasn't pleased to hear about since powder-coating is superior (to the best of my knowledge) but the other shop charged more for that job.  (And this is correct because I now remember that the other shop told me that the rim needed to dry for a few days before mounting, whereas powder-coating is baked and can be mounted immediately afterwards.)  So I asked Buckeye to blast off the paint of that rim as well so the whole set will match.
    Buckeye also told me that there was a lifetime warranty on the rims although nothing was provided in writing, so I noted that on the receipt.
    I'm very pleased with my experience and plan to bring to them another set of steelies for blasting and coating.

    I scheduled an appointment at 4:30 PM to have the work done. They were unable to get to my car until 5:30 PM. The work was not done until 7:30 PM. The service technician said the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light would not go out, but thought the car needed to be driven a few miles before the TPMS would reset. The light would then go out. I drove home, which was a few miles, but the TPMS light was still on. I decided to look up some information online about the car to determine how to reset the TPMS. I finally decided to check the tire pressure in all four tires. Three of the four tires did not have the correct tire pressure. After I put the correct pressure in all four tires, the TPMS light went out.

    I have two issues with this provider (Discount Tire on Poe Ave., in Dayton,OH. 
    First each person I talked to had different recommendations as to what tire would be best for my car (a 1999 Toyota 4Runner).  This confusion reminded me of the Geek Squad, which is basically a group of poorly trained high schools who have no real knowledge of computers and technology, but who are adept at "talking the talk". 
    The second issue, is that I was promised a 45 minute install "if I came right now", which I did.  When I got there it became an hour and a half and by the time I left, it was two and a half hours after I arrived.  They were very courteous about it (reminds me of Indian tech. support services) but took other vehicles ahead of mine.

    Originally went to have a tire looked at that was causing the LOW TIRE light to come on on my RAV4. (Prior to that we had also noticed the tendency for the car to hydroplane on the highway in the rain.) They recommended replacing all 4 tires, which we are glad we did. We made several trips after that in inclement weather, and felt much safer driving the car after the tires were replaced. The employees were very friendly and helpful even when their shop was packed to the gills. Other customers remarked how they had gone to Jamie's for years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

    I checked the tires a week later. The front passenger tire was 12 psi below what is should be and its valve stem cap was missing. The caps on the other three tires were very lose as if the tech was too lazy or in a hurry to properly tighten them. I sent Dayton Tire an email about my concerns and they phoned me the next day but the person I spoke with was dismissive about the caps, saying that they don't hold air in the tire, which I already knew. He missed my point which was the quality of work and care shown to my car was sub-par. If the tech was careless about properly tightening valve stem caps, what else would they be careless about?
    To his credit, he did apologize about not catching the low tire pressure in the one tire, saying that they are supposed to check pressure in each tire when they do a service.

    We had a flat tire on our Trailblazer that has tires purchased at grismer. We took the tire into Jesse and he got our tire repaired and back onto our car very quickly and he was very helpful and professional

    Was disappointed their service did not include a 4 wheel alignment. in the original price. The previous tires had been on there for quite some time and it really needed the alignment. They would have done it but they were going to charge about another $95. There are other places that will do it for a lot less.

    Grismer Tire and Auto Service Center
    I compared prices at a few places around town and decided to go with Grismer for the tire installation because they included 4 oil changes in the price. They installed 4 Michelin Defender tires in a timely manner and also completed an alignment. They gave me a document showing the numbers pre-alignment and post-alignment. I thought that was helpful. Everybody was courteous, and I was satisfied with the work that was completed.
