    Window Nation Inc
We have a large Bay style window in our living room that consists of a 5 separate panes. One of the panes developed a separation from the sealing frame 2 years after original installation. These folks were great, came out and diagnosed the issue, replaced the window with a brand new one, and were extremely friendly and courteous throughout the whole process. They definitely stand 100% behind their product. If we ever need windows in the future Window Nation will be our first call.

They showed up on time, had a great attitude, did a professional job, cleaned up afterward, stuck to the original quote which was a great price in and of itself.

    Yoder Windows & Siding
They were great to work with, and we really like the finished product -- especially the doors.  They have a waiting list, so we had to wait several months until the jobs were done (windows in September and doors in February), but they gave us an estimated date for both, and they held to those dates.  We could trust them to be in our home while we were gone.

    AROUND THE HOUSE
I would like to leave a comment here about the work that Around the House did for us. We are getting ready to sell our home so we had our own pre-inspection done, which uncovered a list of about 25 items that needed to be fixed or replaced. I searched on Angie’s list for a handyman who had an electrical license/experience, as well as skills for all around home improvement, and obviously someone who had good reviews on Angie’s list. Around the House had them all, so we chose to contact them. From start to finish it has been an absolute delight to work with Around the House. To begin with, they provided us with an excellent estimate in writing, through email, before they came out. Of course some items they could not estimate before seeing exactly what needed to be done, but of the things they could estimate before seeing they did. That gave us a good understanding of where to begin. All through the process Around the House did a phenomenal job. They communicated well and often, they fixed or replaced all items that we needed, and they did so in a timely manner and to our complete satisfaction. Rick with Around the House is very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, respectful, and he works hard. He also understands the need to be frugal and so he helped us cut some costs without cutting quality, simply by doing things a little differently than we had originally thought. This was much appreciated! All aspects of this project were done on time, on budget (or even in a couple of instances, BETTER than budget) and to our complete satisfaction. We give the highest recommendation to Around the House for anything that needs to be repaired/replaced in your home. You just cannot go wrong with them. God bless you Rick, and the staff at Around the House!

    Dave's Installation
I purchased a home at absolute auction and decided that it would be best that the home be completely gutted due to electical concerns before if would be safe to reside in and before we put our other house on the market.  So the project turned into a complete renovation that started early 2009.  We were able to reside in home by mid June 2009.  I started looking for contractors for the project and the drywall contractor I hired referred me to Dave, as all windows  and doors needed to be replaced.  Long story short, Dave saved me in this project as the home required a lot more reconstruction than I had ever imagined.  I realized I became the General Contractor for what pretty much was becoming a new home.  Thank goodness Dave had the skills to reconstruct the home to be sound as it would become our residence.  Although I never hired him as general contractor he "trained" me how to manage this project, that in hindsight I am THRILLED with the outcome of the project.  Dave was PATIENT, and very helpful in helping with every decision for which I recruited his input, however he always stressed that it was my decision.  He is knowledgable he EXCELLED in pointing out things that may result from the different choices I had to make.  Dave was always there when he said he would be and was very flexible about making time for my last minute emergencies so I would meet the dates I have other contractors scheduled to do their work.  I have continued to contract Dave for smaller projects that we do not have the skills to perform ourselves.   Most recently he has resolved a trim issue to a outdoor pavillion that I wanted the finished project to be maintence free.  He reseached what was needed to trim out treated lumber with aluminum as there can be issues with that combination.  He found material to install between the two products to eliminate problems.  I was picking up on construction that my husband did.  Dave knew my FINAL goal was that I would never have to take paint to it, and finished the building to my requirements.  In regard to price, a few jobs I have priced out elsewhere, and I will say that Dave is not always the lowest, however I am comfortable that I will be satisfied with the final outcome and that he will treat our home with respect as it were his own.  That has not been that case with all of the contractors I have hired in other fields.  I do feel he charges fairly for his professionalism and experience.  I would hire Dave again without hesitation for any services he feels he can perform .

    SliderMan
We had a heavy glass sliding patio door that was almost impossible to close and guests arriving within the week. They fit us in their schedule so that the work could be completed in time. They were on time, efficient and courteous. We were quite impressed with the job done and will definitely use them again when the need arises. When a company specializes in a specific area they usually become the best. It has certainly been true for Sliderman!
