    I was a customer of Frontpoint for 1 year. I previously had issues with them on their communication and written promises and not following through. I did write a review at that point and they "fixed" the problems. However after that point I became even more dissatisfied with them. There were several new issues that led to me calling to cancel. One being a 7 minute delay from and alarm drop to a phone call. When they finally did call I questioned the length of time and they sent me to tech support who claimed I needed an update to my system. They could have pushed that update through but never did and never contacted me to do so. Had this event been a true emergency my family could have been in trouble and thinking help was on the way when it actually wasn't. This was not the first delayed call but by far the longest. I also found out at that point that they were still calling a temporary number for a vacation before calling mine which was supposed to be removed from the account in March. Given the long history of problems with front point I called to cancel my system. The gentleman CJ that I spoke with understood my concern and my lack of confidence in the company and was therefore willing to waive the cancellation fee for the remaining part of my contract if I returned the equipment that I purchased to them for a refund of a little over $500. If I was to keep the equipment I had to pay a cancellation fee. I would have been able to use my equipment with my new system but did the math and decided to return the equipment for the agreed upon amount in the email send to me by CJ. We returned our equipment and never heard from them. I called to check the status only to find out the refund was being issued by Angies list in the amount of $199 not the agreed upon amount. I reached out to CJ and got a return email from his "supervisor" Darius saying CJ was transferred to another division and that he was sorry for the misunderstanding that there was nothing they could do for me. We have emailed back and forth and he basically doesn't care that I based my decisions on the email from CJ and that I am out money and would have kept the equipment to save money with my new system. I am beyond sickened that these people can actually provide written agreements and completely disregard them. They did it with there contract in which they agreed to protect my family and they are now doing it with the email CJ sent stating the terms of my cancellation.

    On upgrade to wireless system: it was installed and I called because we were having a problem.  I called the 2nd day and it took a week to get out and correct what wasn't installed correctly.  Then, I was getting a trouble signal about 4 months ago and they said I needed batteries in the sensors in my office.  I bought the batteries and placed them where it said to and the trouble light stayed on.  I called back and they did a remote trouble shoot.  (over new year's weekend)  The light has been on since.  It stopped working about 2 weeks ago.  the alarm went off and it said my other office window.  I replaced taht battery, so I called and they gave a bypass code to use. Which worked for a day or two.  Last Saturday, 3/26; the alarm went off and I couldn't turn it off.  I called and the guy said to unplug and that didn't work.  Finally, got it off with the keypad.  I plugged back in and it started again.  I asked a technician to come out on 3/26 and they told me I had to aagree to $299 for 1st hour and $75 for ea. incremental 1/2 hr.  I told them on the 26th that I was going out of town and my wife would be by herself. I had to pay before they would send someone.  I didnt see that in the terms.  I agreed and no one came out.  They called the next day (Sunday) and said someone would be there between 5-7 on the 28th.  They said that would be free since it was during the week.  Monday, he was here until 7:30.  They called at 7:30 and said they would have to reschedule.  Which was after the scheduled appt. time.  I've used them for 20 years.

    Set up was easy and talking to the rep was great. He offered us 2 months of free monitoring and we only got one. I asked about the motion sensor with my animals and he said it would be fine, every time we arm it they set it off. We called and they told us to try moving it higher until it works...still not working. We also got the automatic light switch so we can turn our light on through the app. It stopped working about 3 weeks in and gave us a constant error no matter what we did. Not worth the money. i do not feel protected.

    I talked to sales rep first. He explained everything the had to other and about the company in great detail. He wasn't pushy. I didn't feel pressure. The installer tech was just as polite. He called before he arrived, went over the job in detail, and kept everything  clean as he did his work.

    After purchasing, they called me to get the specifics of my home.  We soon agreed that the package I purchased did not fit my needs, as it was more than I actually needed.  I received a credit on my purchase, but in turn bought a camera.  Their setup and customer service is outstanding.  We were especially pleased with the setup (Self Installed system).  It was easy and took less than 30 minutes to get everything in place.
    Thanks for saving me some money and lining me up with a better package.  I also received 12% off my insurance premiums.

    We have been very pleased with their service. The technicians did the work very well and cleaned up after themselves. They also were very cooperative because of illness (we had to delay the installation and reschedule it a couple of times); they were willing to do that. It’s been a good experience overall.

    THE ALARM WAS INSTALLED WITHOUT A GLITCH. THE SERVICE THUS FAR HAS BEEN GREAT. THE INSTALLER WAS WONDERFUL AND HELPED US TO GET ADJUSTED TO OUR NEW HOME.
