    I didn't realize that Eyetique had recently bought out the previous owner (called Union Vision), when I stopped in.  I was promptly greeted, and to my surprise, was helped by one of the owners who happened to be at the store that day (they have 12 other locations in Cleveland and Pittsburgh.  They describe themselves as an eye wear botique (hence the name) and fittingly, they have a huge selection of standard as well as unique frames you wont find elsewhere.  The owner patiently listened to what I was looking for, and helped me try on dozens of frames and narrow it down to a few.  When it still wasn't exactly what I wanted, he explained that they can customize the lens shape for me ( I was looking at rimless and partially rimless glasses).
    If you've read this far, you'll be thinking what I was thinking-'great, but this will be expensive'.  I was concerned because I don't have vision insurance, and a similar pair of glasses at another shop priced out at over $800.  Well he assured me that he'd work with me and when he came back with a total for the frames and top-of-the line coated lenses, I was very pleasantly surprised that the total was close to $500.
    i was so pleased with the price and the transaction, I started looking for a new pair of prescription sunglasses during the same visit.  Not surprisingly, I again couldn't find exactly what I wanted.  The owner explained that despite the huge in-stock selection, he was still moving in additional cases and stock.  He encouraged me to go online and  find a dozen frames that I liked.  He is bringing them in to the store in a couple of days so I can make a selection.
    As of this writing, I haven't received my first pair of glasses yet.  I'll update this review if anything changes, but I couldn't be happier with the selection and service I received..

    Well.. I've got both pairs of glasses and I'm very please with the fit and the new prescription.

    I was dissatisfied with my choice of procedure after my cataract surgery  .  I made an appt. assuming that a corrective surgery in one eye would "solve" my issues.  The doctor suggested I try a contact to see if that would correct the problem.  It has been so many years since I had worn contacts that I couldn't adjust to them.  When they took the time to explain what could and could not be corrected, I finally decided not to have the surgery.  I really think many doctors would have skipped these steps and just gone ahead with the expensive surgery.  Dr. Lohman and his associates took the extra time to help me make a better choice.  I am impressed.

    It went all right, but it’s almost like an assembly line.  My sister had cataract surgery and they only do them on certain days, so they get a whole bunch of people in.  I guess it’s just the way it’s done, but it just seemed a little impersonal.  Otherwise, they were nice and the doctor was pleasant.

    I chose to go there because one of my friends went there, but I just did not care for him. His personality was not that personable. It was not like a caring-type interaction. The billing and administration was fine.

    Dr. Lohman felt that I would do better with another lens, explained the features and conditions for wearing and I tried a pair. He was excellent at explaining, answering questions, and was generally very pleasant and knowledgeable. The office staff is friendly and efficient. The services are scheduled and patients are seen on-time. Overall, it was a very satisfactory experience, and I am pleased to say that I have found a new optometrist!

    All went well. Wish they would have told me about getting my eyes dilated first but it wasn't a big deal.
    Doctor was extremely helpful and staff was friendly.
    Most importantly the office was nice, clean and up to date.

    I've been a patient for over 5 years for routine eye exams and eyeglasses. The doctors are above average. The staff is friendlier than most and the environment if very nice. Only thing they could improve on is the wait time. the ladies at the eyeglass center are wonderful but the lab has messed up my order several years in a row. Overall great people and service.

    Dr. Anderson uses the most up to date equipment and is knowledgeable in her field. On my last visit Dr. Anderson had a new peoce of equipment that does not require the patient to have a device a few millimeters from their eye which makes for a more pleasant eye examination.

    There are about six doctors in there. They are a very handy place to get to with good parking and so forth. I like them. I have sugar so I have to go there at least once a year. They have all the equipment and they are really good about knowing exactly what to watch for and what to do; things that might be related to/by sugar. Their prices are reasonable and I can usually get in there very quickly. It is a new building so the environment is real nice and clean.
