Chiropractor reviews in Cuyahoga Falls

He fixed me. It's pretty huge when you are talking about chiropractic and back pain. When I began going to him I was going 3 times a week and now I go about once every three months. I can say, I remember having once I had success and I wasn't in the excruciating pain and when I began going there I remember seeing a lady getting out of the car much the same way that I got out of the car on my first few visits and I was able to say to her I was there where she was and now I'm much better. If you call him, he can get you in on the same day.

It was great. I have not done a bill. My insurance covered it all. The reviews on line are pretty good. The downfall for me was I was looking for a place that offered a massage as well included but they did not offer. They are great experience. However, a few was looking for a massage to be included.

After the initial consultation, I had an xray and was told about all the subluxations in my spine and the course of treatment. Oddly enough, the number of visits required exactly equaled what my insurance provider allowed. They researched that during the xray. I started the treatments and found the treatment to be rough and painful. I've been to other providers before and not experience this level of and quot;rush rushand quot; treatment. The TENS unit operators were too busy talking about their social plans to notice that they turned the machine up to full voltage despite my objections and I was in considerable pain. When I pointed this out to Dr. Shimmel he laughed it off and said that a few more treatments would take care of everything. On my 5th visit, I was seen by a chiropractic resident who overdid the adjustment and I felt pain shoot down both arms to my hands. My hands were numb after that. When I saw Dr. Shimmel again, he stated that and quot;this proves the treatment is workingand quot;. Really? I saw my family doctor after that and he was horrified and said I had nerve root damage that would take several months to clear up. So I cancelled my future visits. That is when I found out they had been overcharging for my visits and owed me considerable money. One excuse led to another and to make a long story short, it took almost 6 months to have the excess moneys refunded.
This place is bad treatment wise and also business wise. I hope they get it together because I believe that Chiropractic does a world of good and practitioners like this just make a bad name for the discipline.

This is was my first, and probably only, visit. The first thing I noticed upon entering the office was the noise. It took me a bit to finally realize it was the volume at which the many employees were talking with each other, and they weren't patient-related conversations.
After the check-in procedure was finished, someone came out and ushered me to an office. She said someone would be with me shortly. A young woman came in and asked me a bunch of questions, but I have no idea what her position was.
I was taken to the x-ray room, and I balked at that because I had already presented a recent x-ray report. It turned out that was where I was meeting with the chiropractor initially. She asked a few questions, then she had me lie down on the table. I really don't know what she did, she didn't explain.
She then took me to this big open room with a bunch of tables, employees, and patients. I was told to lie down on any open table. Someone, again I don't know what her position was, connected me to electrical stimulation. She didn't say how long it would last. She came over and asked questions, but since I was face down, I was never sure if she was talking to me.
I was moved to a table with pressurized water, again by someone whose position I did not know, again for no idea how long.
Everywhere I was, it was noisy and not at all relaxing. There was no privacy. The employees seem to focus on their loud, personal conversations rather than patients. It felt like a big patient warehouse, just shuffle them through, and don't let it interrupt their frat house fun.

The treatment have a generally positive effect. However I was not impressed by the environment. I felt as though I was being ushered through a cattle lot. There were no doors on the rooms so very little privacy and they were extrememly busy with people going in every direction.

Personable, and very available - will always work you in, if you are in pain.
Felt as if I was getting the same set of procedures each office visit regardless of the reason for the visit.
Actual treatment time with the doctor runs 5-10 minutes tops remainder of treatment is machine/equipment oriented and provided by office staff.
Feels as if he is an 'old fashioned' standard chiropractor - like my parents saw years ago. Good basic service, but once I was diagnosed with herniated disks in my cervical spine (by my general practioner/MRI) I sought a more 'modern' doctor. Ended up using(physical therapists, pain management/chiropractor practitioners for my treatment.

Would recommend him for basic services. Would be good for a chronic conditon where basic manipulation, electrical stim therapy and lumbar table machine have proven to be beneficial in managing your specific condition.

As a runner, I've been going to this office for 10 years. This staff is amazing and very accomodating. Treatment is effective and there always seems to be new methods to try (massage, rubber band stretching, etc) Highly recommended.

I have had a very good experience with this clinic. The doctor does his best to get you better quickly, and in the 2 years I have been going to see him I have noticed that he takes the more holistic approach to things. His staff is great and they remember my name when I go in, and they are great at getting me scheduled when I need to get in.

The staff and the doctor are very friendly. They will do anything to make you feel better. He is very gentle with his adjustments. You feel great when he is done with the adjustment, so you walk away feeling much better. I have been using his services for the last five years.

Dr. Zelasko was amazing. Our family is so grateful for her expertise and the gentle, caring way she treated us throughout a very tough time. Her advice and counsel was never overbearing or coercive, but she was encouraging and supportive. I really cannot say enough about Dr. Zelasko, she has my highest recommendations to anyone! She was more than a doctor to us, she was a friend. You won't find better!!!
