    After viewing Angie's List's reviews of companies that repair appliances, I called Bryan with Akron Appliance Repair since his reviews were excellent. He promptly arrived at my home and determined my dishwasher needed a new control board (he showed me why it was unrepairable). He installed a new control board in an efficient manner and at a reasonable price, and my dishwasher is a good as new. He is very professional, pleasant to talk to, and very knowledgeable about most appliances. I highly recommend him for any appliance repair.

    Good. He showed up with a helper...Selby was clean and neat; he did the work, gave me advice to make my stove burner ignite as it should, and didn't leave my kitchen a mess...I would use them again - I've been lucky to not have any appliance problems...this was the first.

    Eastside Maytag Home Appliance

    They came out the day after I called to find out what was wrong at exactly the time the service man said he would be here. He found the problem pretty quickly and said he would have to order the part, there were none in stock. Two days later (on Saturday) the service man called to say he had the part and would come out on Monday to make the repairs. Again, he came at the time promised, and in 30 minutes, the repairs were done at the estimated price. He came twice, but I was only charged for one service call. I have used Eastside Maytag before and have been very happy each time.

    I called this company due to 1. good reviews on angies list and 2. 15% off coupon. My scheduled appointment was for the hours between 8 and 10am. The repairman called at 11am and said he was running late, showed up around noon. Diagnosed the problem as a leak in hose. Then quoted the job - the replacement part was $46 and the labor was $165.09 - and this was supposedly after a 15% discount. I agreed to pay the price because needed it fixed.
    They did not have part with them so had to order it. Scheduled another appointment for the following week between 1 and 3 pm. Repairman called at 4 and said he was running late again - asked him why he didnt call before 3 no answer. The hose was fixed but dont think would use them again mostly due to my perceived excessive cost of labor. Total hours of working on unit including the diagnosis was less than 1 hour.

    .My GE Profile gas dryer developed a grinding or rubbing noise on 12/24. I checked Angie's List (a Christmas Present) on 12/25 and chose to call Scott at Ace based on the reviews written by others. I called Christmas night thinking I would leave a message on his work line but he picked up and promised to call me on 12/26. He was polite and courteous on the phone. He proceeded to call me on 12/26 and take down the details. He then promised to call me back to schedule me in for 12/28. He was upfront about his $35 house call fee for assessing the problem. This was much less than another company I spoke with that charges $50. Scott called on 12/27 and we worked out an 8:00 AM 12/28 appt.
    On Friday, 12/28, he arrived a few minutes early. Scott was clean, courteous, knowledgeable and very efficient. He wasted no time. He immediately diagnosed the issue (worn glides) and a bad bearing, solved the problem with replacement parts, and cleaned out the dryer and inner drum components. I would not have wanted to attempt this repair on my own. He had to open up the dryer, remove the drum and swap up a few parts. It was easy to see the worn glides but the bearing he replaced would not have registered as part of the problem but it was worn and was changed out on his recommendation.
    Within 30 minutes, I had a perfectly running machine. I appreciated that he had the spare parts on his truck and that this would be a one-time visit. Scott also made helpful recommendations on what I could do to continue maintaining my machine.
    I strongly value quality service! Ace provided quality workmanship at a price I could afford. I will call Scott again for my appliance service issues and I highly recommend him.

    We bought a washer from Best Buy. When it quit working we contacted the Geek Squad for service. They did not show for their scheduled appointment. This ended our relationship with Best Buy - wonder they are closing stores.

    I looked on Angies List for sppliance repair and found Selby. He was simply awesome. I will call him for all future repairs. He was prompt, professional, polite, knowledgeable, and fair with his cost.

    Geek Squad - Best Buy
    We bought a washer and dryer from Best Buy. The washer quit running so we called to schedule service. Our appointment was scheduled but the technician never showed or called. I contacted Best Buy and was told that the technician was called off appointments for training. In attempting to reschedule, I was on the phone for over 10 minutes. While waiting on hold I found a local company and they repaired the washer. I am embarrassed for Best Buy. They lost me as a customer. Evidently they are losing others as stores continue to close across the country.

    I discovered that my refridgerator had power but was not cooling after a power outage. Within 10 minutes of calling I received a return call from Rush Appliance. He asked me some questions and promised to come out that same day. He came out a short time later. He quickly diagnosed my problem, a fried motherboard, and replaced it with no issue. He explained everything to me and got it up and running quickly.
