Repaired a leak in the roof.

We found a small leak coming through our kitchen ceiling. I called Ex-Amish, and Emmanuel and a crew showed up a few hours later (they had a cancellation on another job due to the weather). Emmanuel quickly checked the roof and found a bad boot on the vent stack over the kitchen. He didn't have the correct size with him, but left to go buy the correct boot. He was back in under an hour, and replaced the boot. He then went into the attic to check for any hidden damage due to the leak. Emmanuel was very professional, and gave us some good advice on our roof. He didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need - he just did the job quickly and for a good price.

I was requesting estimate for siding & build 10' x 30' front porch

I called to get estimate for work to be done. Emanuel said he would get back to me early the next week. He called the next Thurs. We arranged to have him come out the next Thursday at 4:00 to view the place the work was to take place. At 4:30 I called to find out where he was. He answered the phone and his response was and quot;Oh s***! I forgot all about itand quot;. He agreed to come the next day at the same time. The next day he left a voicemail saying he was not coming. That he was awarded 2 big jobs and couldn't do any work until next year. If I wanted to talk about setting up something for then to call back. Needless to say, I did not reply. I was looking to start ASAP. Poor professionalism. Never did get an estimate.

We called the company, and they responded promptly, we set up a time for him to be here and he was on time, he told me he would call me back with a price, he did call back one time but did not leave a message or an estimate. Based on this information I would not hire him.

Outstanding response time and professionalism. We are waiting for a break in the weather to complete the job but I am totally sure that everything will be performed neatly and exactly as quoted. I would highly recommend Emanuel to any others interested in the best job and pricing possible.

We are in the process of selling the house and the inspector felt there were leak issues in the roof. We knew that was not the case. Emanuel came out to inspect the attic and roof and told us the lack of ventilation was causing a problem. Our attic fan was not working (which we knew) but the lack of a wide enough ridge vent and an inadequate number of vents was causing moisture issues. In addition we knew the bathroom fans had not been properly exhausted to the outside. This was part of the job we asked him to do. Just waiting for a break in the weather.

I hired Emanuel and the crew at Ex Amish Construction for a roofing project for me.

It went great! The crew was extremely professional, the work was completed in a timely fashion once the project began and the price was fair! Highly recommend.
