  • We've always had lots of dogs. They're not cheap. We've used them since 1972. It started with his parents and now it's the younger one. He not only cares but keeps up to date on what's new and yet he's conservative in his treatments. I just totally trust what he recommends.

  • They are wonderful there. The doctor is excellent and the staff is excellent. They take very good care of my dog. I had dogs before so I have always used them. The waiting time is 25 minutes, not a big deal. The waiting area is very clean, nice, and comfortable.

  • They are very good. I go all the time to them, every year. Anytime, I have had any kind of an emergency they have always been able to take care of it. They are very friendly and helpful. They are very professional. They have several doctors that work there and I have worked with several of them. They are very good with the animals.

  • Very friendly, helpful staff assisted us. We just moved to this area and started with this vet in Feb. '12. So far, so good! A little more pricey than my last vet but all veterinarians are expensive.

  • I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Brown for years. He is an excellent vet. Very thorough. I came to him on a referral from a friend after being displeased with another vet. Dr. Brown correctly diagnosed a yeast infection which had been previously misdiagnosed as a skin allergy.

  • He is gentle, compassionate, very knowledgeable, and values animals lives. He has extended my cat's life for 2.5 years past her life expectancy. The staff is excellent. They also are very compassionate and even know your name when you walk in the office. They are very nice when you call.

  • We took our Lab in as she was limping. Dr. Daye and his staff were wonderful. The did a careful exam of her and recommended x-rays to really know what was going on. He took the time to explain everything and answered all of our questions. Once the x-rays were done he recommended surgery. After he addressed more of our concerns and questions were choose to go ahead with the surgery, which was done the same day.
Dr. Daye called later in the day and told us our Lab was fine and surgery went as expected. We went to pick her up the next day. We got stuck in traffic and missed our appointment time. They were more than happy to take care of us when we got there. We were told what to expect and do to care for her. Again all our questions were addressed. We were given written instructions too which was perfect to refer to when we got home.
Two weeks later we took her for her follow up and everything was great. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They were always willing to answer any questions we had. And again at her 8 week check we had a great experience and sent home with a new set of directions for her rehab. The instructions have always been explained but it sure is great to have them in writing to refer to once at home.
It is a very busy place with all sorts of specialists. Hopefully you will never have the need but it is sure wonderful to have a great place if you ever do.

  • They are a little bit high and you have to pay for your visit that day. They do not do any billing or anything like that. My dogs love going there and it makes it worth it. They get us in when we need to and they are good at calling back to see how the dogs are doing.

  • On a Saturday afternoon our dog torn her toenail quite severely. As it was after 11am I knew I didn't have much time to find someone to see her as many vets close at noon and I didn't want an ER trip/bill if I could help it. I called one vet who wouldn't see her because they were closing. Lake Animal Hospital agreed to see us even though we had never been there before (our regular vet comes to the house which makes it difficult in these types of situations).

We waited just a bit to see the doctor. He took her in the back and fixed her nail all up. I am so grateful they took us and were able to fix her all up for such a reasonable price!

  • Lake Animal Hospital has cared for my family's pets for at least 40 years. Sometimes the wait is long, but it is a very busy office, so that is understandable. The care is excellent. It seems a bit expensive, but since I have never taken an animal to any other veterinarian's office, I cannot say if the cost is more or less than what other offices may charge. When costly tests or treatments are offered, I never feel pressured - the various options are given, and I make the decision. With a 16 year old dog, health is declining, and we have to decide how far to go in diagnosing and treating her ailments. All of the veterinarians are great, and the staff is friendly.
