y husband does't feel that the dental hygienist spent enough time cleaning his teeth.  Also, he has a permanent bridge which she did not floss under.  When the dentist examined him, he said that my husband should have two teeth crowned and that his insurance would cover part of it.  My husband told him to send in the predetermination to my insurance.  His insurance company responded to him and the dentist that they wanted a periodical x ray.  My husband tried to contact his office to discuss this and got an answering machine.  No one ever called him back but he finally did get the same form from the dentist that  the insurance company sent with no explanation from the dentist office as to the next step.   This is not the first time that no one has called my husband back from this office.  He has had trouble changing appointments.  The office staff does not appear to be very responsive.   He has decided to not use this dentist anymore.

I have always been cared for promptly when I arrive for my appointments. Her staff are all very professional yet friendly. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. My experiences have all been pain free. She communicates well, and clearly tries to be fair and honest when discussing treatment plans.

    Richards, Dr. Chandice
Dr. Richards had applied a crown previously and it failed to stay adhered.  The replacement was done for a fee and it did not hold for long.  It seemed that the work was an imposition.

    Valaitis, Dr. Anthony V.
Dr. Valaitis wanted to try to save the tooth by doing a root canal and a crown.  However, when he started the root canal, he discovered that the root was badly infected and found a cyst on the root.  He determined that the tooth could not be saved, and he extracted the tooth.  We considered an implant but have not yet decided to do that, since the tooth is the last molar on one side. Dr. Valaitis was very competent and professional, his staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and we were quite pleased with the experience, even though my husband came home with one less tooth and a prescription for an antibiotic.  As an aside, my husband had complained about the tooth bothering him to our original dentist, and after a very brief examination, the dentist said he must be grinding his teeth.  I am certain the tooth was infected at that point, but he did not discover that.  This was several weeks before the tooth broke, and another reason we looked for a dentist on Angie's List and found Dr. Vatailis.

I just want to inform some possible patients that may want to schedule with this doctor especially those that do not have dental insurance.  Dr. Stone is always at least 1 &1/2 hours to 2 hours behind schedule.  He does his root canals in two appointments which he charges anywhere from $1200 to 1600 on the first appointment because he gets your money all on the first appoint & you owe nothing on the second appointment he will keep moving you around.  This is because he has new patients that are in need of root canals.  For mostly the elderly better beware he will add on extra charges if you do not have insurance.  This is because he can get away with it.  His explanation is because it was an extra hard tooth.  Most of the time the tooth is not going to make it by having the root canal & will need pulled eventually.  Root canals are only guaranteed 40%.  You will have to pay for the root canal then get a crown on it for an average total of $3000. Which the majority of the time the tooth will go bad resulting in extraction.  This is when the doctors suggest to have an implant.  My suggestion is not to invest having a root canal in the first place to go with an implant instead.

    Clark, Dr. Paul A.
Dr. Clark and staff are always friendly.  The quality of the dental work is always great.  I have been going there for over 15 years and would recommend him to anyone.  He has performed root canals, extractions, regular cleanings and check ups.  I plan to continue being a patient until he retires.

    Fryer, Dr. Kevin W
Dr. Fryer has a great patient manner.  Without question he is the best dentist I have ever been to see.
Since I am in my 70's, I've seen my share of dentists.
I just can't say enough good things about Dr. Fryer and the excellent Staff.
Now that I've had work done by Dr. Fryer, I understand and appreciate "painless dentist."
My wife had a crown put on a broken tooth and never left the offoce.  The crown was built in the office while she waited.
In my situation, I needed a root canal done under a crown.  Dr. Fryer did the all the work without removing the crown.

My dentist is very pleasant. The hygienists are very friendly and very professional. It is easy to get appointments. The only time I really see him is when I have to have either fillings or something like that, otherwise I usually just have to see the hygienist and then the doctor comes in and looks at things and that is it, but when there is something wrong then I spend a little more time with him. The office is clean. They are very punctual. The staff, they are very friendly. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They do explain things that they are going to do. Mostly when I go for cleaning and stuff like that it is all covered by insurance, it is just when I have to have something special done where only part of it is covered.

He does a great job. They have a very accommodating and polite personal staff. I like them a lot. I had dentists before him that were local and I just didn't care for them. I started going to him maybe about 17 or 18 years ago. He's just a really nice guy. They do good work. They don't do more than they have to. They treat the patients right. I had a broken tooth once and I had no appointment. They got me in the very next day. In fact, they were off work and the office wasn't open. They came in anyway. It's a clean, beautiful and nice place. They're probably a little bit more expensive so sometimes, I have to pay a little bit more out of pocket.
