    Mary's Daycare
We have been with Mary for three years now.  I am extremely happy with the care she has provided my daughter.  We started our daughter with Mary when she was a baby on a recommendation from a friend.  Mary's Daycare is conveniently located between route 91 and route 8 in Hudson.  Mary has been very reliable.  Although she runs the daycare from her home, it is most certainly her business.  There is a separate addition on the house specifically for the daycare, so you don't have to worry about your child going into the main house.  The room is always clean, and each child has their own pack and play or sleeping bag to use during naptime.  There is also a deck on the back of the house which has a lot of toys and ride-ons for the kids to play on.  Mary frequently has the children outside as long as weather cooperates.  One of the most important things to me was consistency.  Mary follows the same schedule every day.  We know exactly when breakfast and lunch will be, and also naptime.  Mary works with the kids on potty-training and also uses time-outs if necessary.  The kids (mostly ages 1-4) seemed well-behaved everytime I picked my daughter up.  It is clear that Mary is in control and knows how to work with kids this age.  Mary also plays with the kids and gives them hugs and love.  My daughter has been very happy at Mary's house and loves to go and play with her friends there.  I trust Mary to take care of my child and would absolutely recommend her anyone.

    Primrose School of Hudson
.They have great staff, the facilities are very nice. Primrose school of Hudson has great teachers and their price is not ridiculous.

    Always Available Daycare
It’s a before and after school childcare. They have after school pickup. She helps with their home work, and she gives good nutritional snacks. She has very good communication with the parents. The price right there in the value of most daycare. The quality is excellent. She not only is professional herself, but will also make me professional when dealing with her, and that’s good.

    New Promise Early Learning Center
The daycare provides a happy, caring and friendly atmosphere for the babies and peace of mind for the moms.  The fact that my baby LOVES the providers speaks for itself.  You know you are at the right place when she won't stop smiling at them.  They are a growing establishment ... seem to be well organized, very clean, and focused on the well being of the babies.

They are amazing. They text message me if there is an issue and keep me updated. They provide food, the price is reasonable and the teachers are certified. It's very convenient for me because it's right across the street from my office.

    Gloria Dei Lutheran Church
My daughter goes to daycare part time there. The price varies on how much she goes. They are a pre-school and they teach them. They have special programs monthly. They have music and library times. She does sign language and they have a devotion once a week. They have field trips. I think that she has a good time. They have a fantastic student to teacher ratio. They are very caring. There are 6 students to one teacher.

    New Promise Early Learning Center
Several things happened that were unacceptable but the top two: my grandson was bitten several times and the head of the center, Marcia Jenks, is nonresponsive. I called on more than two occasions and left messages. My phone calls were never returned. I tried to see her in person twice and was told she was not in. I asked to make an appointment and the women in the front office said that Ms. Jenks would call and set up an appointment; she never did. Children and family services became involved, in another matter concerning my grandson, and they also contacted Ms. Jenks. I was told, and have seen transcripts, that they tried on several occasions, over a 7 week period to contact her and she never followed through with them either. I actually feel horrible because I referred my daughter to New Promise. It was the first time my grandson was in daycare. My daughter had stayed home with him for two years and was dreading going back to work. New promise was a financial burden for her family, but I had hoped that the leader of a "Christian" organization would have Christian values.

We signed up for a one month trial period. We were able to obtain two tutors in a few weeks. There are no reasons for continuous subscription past the first month. However, they continue to charge us past the initial month trial period for almost four months before we caught up with the fact. Their excuse: if you do not cancel, they will continue to charge you, a deceptive practice. Unless, one plans to change tutors constantly; a one month trial is adequate for most. I wrote to them. The customer service person, Robyn, responded immediately with refund for three months. Still, out of principle, we will no longer use their service.

Discussed with her what my needs for new full time nanny were and filled out forms..  She said was something she could help me with.  Over a month didn't hear anything, had to call her, was told my job was hard to fill because my kids were too old.  Got fed up, and started working with other agencies as well as had not heard anything from her.  Finally after 6 weeks she gave me the phone number of a candidate.  Never provided me with the standard information that a nanny agency that charges this much provides, a prospectus/cv etc of nanny.  Called nanny candidate and she was already going on several other interviews with other families per this same agency.  Felt was unprofessional service, and furthermore, with this lack of service, I think an ethical business would have offered to refund my fee as I had not been offered one viable candidate.  I called her once to discuss as usually prior to writing up such a bad review I would like to find out why things had gone so wrong, but (surprise!) did not get called back.

    Le Chaperone Rouge Child Care
Daughter did not gain weight while at Le Chaperon Rouge, huge concern from family doctor and had weekly visits.  This went on for several months until I looked at the tapes of the infant room and saw that all the staff did with the infants was; place them in swings, feed them for a few minutes, put them in cribs and chat with each other drinking coffee. If you are going to enroll your child at Le Chaperon Rouge I would reccommend watching the video tape first, perhaps they have changed...
