    I would have liked to have given them a higher rating, but their recent behavior has been rude, dismissive and unprofessional, so my only defense is to now reach out to social media.   Gorjanc Comfort Services has been my heating and cooling service company for the past 18 years. Services have included: a new furnace installation, new humidifier/humidistat installation, new hot water tank installation, furnace maintenance, and plumbing quotes.   I have been a loyal customer. I always pay their bills on time. So I was surprised last month when I called because my new hot water tank, still under warranty, was leaking. I asked to set up an appointment for service, and I was told to find another service provider. The Gorjanc representative noted that I had services discounted in the past, and I responded that I had used the coupons that they had provided. Was that the reason? And why would that matter?   Last year when the hot water tank was installed, the technician damaged the basement floor paint. They offered to come and touch it up if I would provide the paint, which I agreed to. Then they changed their mind and said they would take something off the bill, i.e. $25. The painting repair was estimated at $100 and they agreed. In my mind, the situation was resolved.   Since then, I have called them a couple of other times, successfully, to replace a humidistat that they had originally installed and for a plumbing quote for which I paid a fee.   The day I was told to find another service provider, I asked to talk with an owner or manager to discuss their decision, and I was assured one would call me back. A couple weeks passed with no phone call, so I mailed a certified letter to the attention of the company president asking him to call me about this. That was more than five weeks ago. No one has responded.   Something has changed within the company in the past year or two. It seems the employees have taken over the decision-making and are calling the shots as to which customers to keep and which to toss. Is anyone familiar with an established service business that runs this way? This is not the quality company I once knew and used.

    The furnace did not work properly during the coldest days in Jan. I called them and got a quote for around $80. A technician came and did some diagnosis and cleaning and charged me $120. I told him the quote was $80, but he said $80 was for half an hour labor and $120 was for an hour even though he barely spent half an hour with the job. He told me if the furnace still had issues after his repairing, he could come back to try something else without charging the $40 travel charge. After using and observing the furnace for a couple of days, I found it still had the issue, so I called the company again as he had told me. To my surprise, he refused to come back and told me to call the original installer, which I did. The installer came with some equipment and agonized correctly.

    My furnace started to shut-off shortly after each heating cycle due to a clogged water pipe to drain water generated during the gas burn up. Reached out to the team 8AM in the morning, they sent out the crew by 3 PM and had the issue all taken care of by 4PM. Everything was done very professionally and the crew explained to me in details what they had worked on and how they addressed the issues. Thanks for keeping us warm in this cold weather.

    We own a few rental properties and exclusively use Central Heating and Air Conditioning. I wanted to write a review after our most recent use of their services this fall because it still blows me away how GREAT this company is at what they do! One of our newer properties has a through the wall heather on the third floor and when we acquired the property, we were unsure if it was operational. Central was able to come out this summer, determined it worked and give it a tune up. Stewart the owner, also gave us recommendations and prices for new heating units so we can plan ahead for when this unit needs to be replaces as it is roughly 15 years old. A week ago, the unit wasn't working so we called Central. Kenny, the technician, was out within 24 hours, found the issue, a bad thermostat, and replaced it on the spot. Just a few days later, the furnace at another property stopped working and Nick, the technician came out and diagnosed the problem. Nick determined the part was under warranty and was able to order a replacement part before the store closed for the day. Nick then went above and beyond accommodating us in his schedule the next day to make the repair so the renter wouldn't be without heat. This made it an extraordinarily long day for Nick and something he did not have to do. I don't know any other heating company that would go to these lengths to help us restore heat for a tenant. Central's prices are always reasonable. They are on time and keep you informed along the way. The technicians explain the issues clearly and carefully. We've been using them for years. In total they have installed one boiler and two high efficiency furnaces for us. They maintain and repair all 11 heating units at our properties and we couldn't be happier. For us it is key to make repairs quickly, within budget, and without fuss. I 100% trust them and couldn't be happier.
