Seamlessly! We spoke to Nicole at the store, and she immediately sent all pertinent info by email. We ordered the appliances right away, and they were delivered in a timely fashion. We love the new set (not matching "officially", but they look great together!) All paperwork was sent to us for future reference, and the whole experience was wonderful. Nicole was truly an excellent product advisor an...

Ordered & paid. Were told it would be in in a week to 10 days. A month & a half later still did not have it. We would call weekly to check the status & would be told it should be in on Friday, Friday would come & no call. They would typically not answer the phone unless we blocked our numbers or called from a different number. One young lady called my husband back when she said she would. John, a ...

SERVICE PROVIDER RESPONSE

This was a very unfortunate issue stemming from changing information from our Best Vendor. The ETA on the Best Downdraft changed multiple times. Each time The Appliance Loft relayed the information to the customer. Most dealers would not stock this model and size of downdraft, but I am glad to hear the customer did find a dealer who had stock of the item as all dealers in the area order from the s...

A 29" refrigerator ( $1500) was purchased from AL and $60 add'l to use the ice maker (nothing unusual, just a regular hookup.) Second refrigerator also leaked. Their service person handled the situation by turning off the icemaker plus all water in the kitchen. I've sent several emails and last January stopped at their office and was told they just needed to finish paperwork on the matter which wo...

REBUTTAL TO COMPANY RESPONSE: As we discussed, only one service rep. came to inspect the dishwasher for The Appliance Loft, not two as they had indicated to you in their reply. A-1 came to check the dishwasher, but performed no diagnostics, including water temperature readings on the wash cycle (which is the issue). We did, however, have an independent and reputable appliance service tech inspect ...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Bosch Dishwasher does not heat per Owner’s manual. Pet odor is frequently noticed on dishes after they are washed, therefore, requiring manual sanitization before loading in dishwasher. Husband had two transplants and cannot take risks associated with bacteria. Contacted Bosch, who then requested A-1 to investigate problem. A-1 tech, Doug, tested nothing and is very sarcastic asking my husband if he wants all parts replaced. We had an independent contractor (Day’s Appliance) give us their findings. Day’s Appliance verified that the washing temperature was not heating properly and said that the unit needed a control (replacement part). When the tech checked on ordering the part, he found that the part is no longer manufactured. I ran water temperature tests using a Fluke digital thermometer and found the wash temperatures to be significantly lower than the owner’s manual indicates for proper cycle function. Bosh Field Service Rep., Curtis McNaught, contacted me to get information on the situation. I informed him of the problem and was told by him that the cooler wash temps are normal, the owner’s manual is in error for listing the range of temps that it shows in the manual. However, Curtis McNaught agreed that the pet odor should not be on the dishes, but also said the issue it is back in Customer Service hands. Curtis McNaught notified us that we would receive a call from Customer Service within 1-2 business days, which we did not. Frequent calls and messages were then left with The Appliance Loft. Not until April 18th did I receive an email in lieu of a return phone call from General Manager, Reese Dorsey. After explaining the situation, Reese Dorsey replied that he was “contacting Bosch now”. Not hearing back from this email, my husband contacted The Appliance Loft again. I then received an email follow-up form Reese Dorsey on April 26th stating “there was still no new information” and they must go with Bosch’s recommendation. When I responded to Reese Dorsey of the wash cycle inaccuracies, I was then told that “Bosch is “still reviewing” my file (April 28th). I have not heard back from Bosch nor The Appliance Loft since April 28th. Because of this, my husband contacted Bosch customer service on May 8th and asked what they were reviewing. Bosch replied “nothing”. Bosch customer service rep., Judy, said there was nothing to review and that a “dealer credit was offered to The Appliance Loft, but they refused it as of April 19th”. My husband handed the phone to me in which Judy repeated the information about not having a file review and the declination of a dealer credit by The Appliance Loft on April 19th. The case number I was given was #1674503. I asked Judy to send this information to me in an email. She agreed to do so. I never received the email with this data. The next day, my husband called Bosch customer service to request the data again. Bosch customer service replied “I don’t know why she (Judy) told you this and then proceeded to ask for a copy of the receipt of purchase in order to get assistance with the issue. This is when we contacted Angie’s List.

The salesman failed to disclose that the Dacor model he was selling had a manufacturers defect in which the timer was barely audible. We found out that this was a mistake made by the manufacturer that is present in all Dacor models and that it could not be fixed. I suspect that they try to hide this detail from customers since they are a Dacor dealer and want to sell the Dacor product. The salesma...
