    We noticed the dishwasher, which was still under warranty, was leaking Thursday evening.  Fred's Appliance was out Friday afternoon.  He diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts.  The parts arrived the next morning and the repairman was back on Tuesday to make the repairs.  He let us know when to expect him and was prompt, personable and left nothing to clean up. I would not hesitate to call them again.

    The service tech, Jeff was neat, personable and friendly. He asked a couple of questions about the problem, then a few specific questions based upon my somewhat vague answers. Then he told me what the most likely cause was and fixed it. While he was working he answered all of my questions about what he was doing. Jeff also took time to tell me how to clean my dishwasher with vinegar so it didn't smell bad from the water that had been sitting in it. I would certainly call Fred's for other repairs as well as recommend him to my friends. Even my dogs liked Jeff. This was warranty work but Fred's was very cooperative in scheduling a prompt appointment.

    Scheduling was a breeze. They had to come twice, both times they called in advance several times to set up and confirm our appointments and times. They came when they said they would and fixed the washer quickly with the replacement parts we received at our home. Very professional and efficient, which is all we needed!

    We have used Fred's Appliance Service in the past and were thrilled that Kitchen Aid referred us to them for service.  The appointment went very well, the service man was fast and thorough.  He explained what had happened to the door strip and made a suggestion to keep it from happening in the future.   Personable but not too chatty, very professional and neat.  
    We will use Fred's in the future should the need arise.

    We contacted  Brian and he was able to come out the same day. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. It did not take him long to diagnose the problem, and after he finished thawing out the coils, he replaced a board in the freezer.  We would contact him again for appliance repairs.

    Robert took the time to troubleshoot the possible issue.  Inspected the belt, motor, pump, and all moving parts.  Ran the washer with a heavy load through an entire cycle.  Sound could not be replicated.  I explained that when I heard the noise, there was an extremely heavy load in the washer.  Determined that nothing was wrong at the time, just to try and avoid heavy loads.  Robert was there for about an hour.  He REFUSED to let me pay for the service call....stating "I didn't do anything so I can't charge you." 
    He absolutely did something!  He spent an hour troubleshooting and inspecting the entire unit.  I'm not sure if any other service company would have walked away without being paid!  I have used Appliance Repair Center several other times and won't call anyone else.  When you call, someone actually answers the phone.  You don't have to wait days for them to come out, and they are extremely nice and very professional.  They treat others with kindness, just like we all want to be treated.  This family owned business that has been in the community for 60 years is top notch!

    After having fixed our refrigerator in the past, we called Toby again this time. We were happy with him the first time, even though he was not very familiar with our make/model and had to guess what was wrong. He replaced a mother board and it worked. That same board went bad not too long after and he replaced it again under warranty. All in all he was nice and seemed reasonable price wise. This time around though after trying several things he was unable to get it working and told me that he was unable to help us and had lost a lot of money trying to fix it. He did not charge us for the parts that didnt fix the problem or the service calls and instructed us to contact GE appliance repair to get help. That day upon arriving home from work I noticed the door on the refrigerator was damaged, a dent in the front of the stainless steel door. I didnt bring it up because I was assuming the worst and would need to replace the refrigerator. After about a week of waiting GE sent someone out to fix the problem and it works fine. Now the bad part. I struggled with what to do about the door because Toby seemed like a nice guy but after looking at it for about another week I decided to at least talk to him about it. I called and explained the situation to a Woman that answers his phone and she told me he would call me. I never heard from him so I left a voice mail a few days ago, again no response. This morning another voice mail and after a couple hours no reponse so I tried again, no answer. Five minutes later Toby called me and explains that he is just really busy. After explaining the situation to him he said well I don't know that I caused the damage and I responded with, well I would like you to at least come by and look at it. It seems to line perfectly with the area that would be pushed on with a hip and maybe a tool got it? The unit was dead and not usable so it hadn't been touched other than by him, we were using another refrigerator in the garage. He then said there is no reason to look at it there was nothing he would do for it. He then offered me a name and phone number to call and explained that it was his attorney and I could pursue it that way. I said just like that? No conversation? You are not even going to look at it? Nope. End of conversation. I am very disappointed to hear this from someone with good reviews. We were polite and paid immediately, we even told people we know that he was good the first time out. I regret even having to write this and if he had come out and been willing to discuss it I probably would have let it go but the whole call my attorney thing was ridiculous. Hes great until a problem comes up then he bails on you. I would not recommend.

    Joe was punctual, professional and very friendly.  He was honest on my freezer problem (warped door).  Adjusted it the best he could.  Then only charged his show up fee which was the least he could charge.  Joe was very informative and direct.  He has now become my appliance repair man in any future problems.

    Went well except I wish he had replaced activation switch at time but he thought it would be fine, but the day after his visit we had to start banging lid of machine to get it going. Now we'll have to pay for another service call to get it replaced.

    Toby responded to my Call for service quickly and was able to come out the next day. He diagnosed the problem and spent a couple of hours completely tearing down the machine. Once he was sure of the problem, he ordered the parts and returned a few days later. He installed the new parts but wasn't able to fix the washer. Additional parts were needed and he recommended I contact someone else with more experience with the brand of washer. He spent a total of nearly five hours and wasn't going to charge me at all for his time. I paid him $50 for his service fee anyway. I have decided to listen to the noise and replace the washer when it quits working completely. I was sorry he wasted his time but also sorry that I wasted mine. Two days off of work for me and $50 less in my pocket and nothing was fixed. He wouldn't even attempt to fix the same brand dishwasher that I also had a problem with and still do. Very nice guy who likely needs to seek training on newer machines.
