Unbelievable! What a great job Dan and his company did. Just wonderful! I owned a small business for 40 years and my number one requirement when I hired someone was to hire a person who cares. Dan Cares. From the smallest detail to the largest, he would make sure it was right. His communication skills regarding the planning, the progress, his suggestions to make the project better, and just his overall friendliness was second to none. In addition, he and PJ work so hard and so fast but never take shortcuts. If you want to hire a great guy who does quality work, Dan is your guy.

    SOLON GLASS CENTER
They've been excellent. They're very good. They install all sorts glass for shower doors and they do some other stuff too but they're really, really, good. They measure them, they produce them (they have a lot of different things you can pick from different types of glass), and then they install them. They have been really good about working around my schedule. They are very neat and very quick. I've seen samples of their work.

I was happy with the work that was done at our home. I was happy with man who came out to give the estimate. I also thought the price was fair. I found it unprofessional that when I called, I was blown off. I also was not called 2-3 days prior to our expected appointment to be told when to expect them. When I called the day before, I was told it was my fault that no one had called, which I still don't understand.

    The Plumbing Source
This company is a division of The Plumbing Source.  I use the Plumbing Source for all my plumbing needs and when I found out about the Remodeling Source, I was excited.  Scott came out to estimate and talk over all our remodeling needs.  He told us that once work began, they would stay on the job until it was complete.  And since we needed extensive plumbing work, they would be using the Plumbing Source for that.  Perfect!  He also told us that it would be one or two workers that would be doing the work and that they don't sub out the work.  Again Perfect!  The job went phenomenal!  From the minute Dan came out to the house, the work was done in an orderly fashion with minimal disruption.  Dan is an amazing guy and his love for his work definitely shows in the finished product.  Scott and Dan discovered black mold in both my bathroom and utility closet, and without missing a beat, called in another company that would eradicate it.  I decided to throw in some "scope creep" and after initially deciding that the vinyl paneling would go halfway up in the utility closet, it would look much better if it went all the way up.  I called Scott in the evening and asked if there was any way this could be done.  It was a crazy tight schedule since the plumbers were coming in the next day to install the hot water and pressure tanks.  Scott said he would see what he could do, and the next thing you know, Viola!  Job done. Paul came out to do the drywall work-beyond talented.  Dan did most of the work and as said before, he is an amazing guy.  Each day, he would cleanup his work area, even vacuuming the carpet. His tile work is like art and his personality is so pleasing, that we loved having him in our house.  One of the best things about all this work, as that once I hired this company, all I had to do was call Scott for anything that needed to be done.  They went and got all the supplies (even the paint) and did a few extra things that I did not anticipate.  Of course, my favorite plumbing company, The Plumbing Source, came out and did all the plumbing work.  This company makes plumbing magic happens, and their sister company, Remodeling Source, makes remodeling magic happen.  I highly recommend this company and would use this company for future remodeling needs.

    Artful Ashes
They send me an envelope through the mail with a little container in it. I put some of the ashes in it, close it up and send it back to them. They blow the glass and make a ball or a heart shaped depending on what I want. They put some of the ashes in a tin container. There are different colors that I can use. I can see online what the different colors are. They put the ashes into that. They blow the glass and roll the ashes onto the ball. They are very caring. I think they are a small business. The owners are Christina and Greg Dale. They send it back in a little bag. They have a heart, a heart on a stand and they also have lift stand that I can set it onto. The cost was $185 and it includes postage. They send an overnight mail. It will be $20 each way where I will be sending it back to them and they will send it back to me. The $185 includes sending it back to me.

    SOLON GLASS CENTER
Very professional service from date of measurement to install.  All appointments were timely and the creation of the enclosure after measurement was approximately two-weeks.  Installed beautifully and detailed instructions on keeping the glass enclosure looking new for years to come. Would not hesitate to use them again.

They did a great job. It had to be customized from the size perspective because the shower was not a standard size when we were done. They actually came out and had to do all the measuring ahead of time to customize it. Then, when they did the installation in just a matter of couple of days, they had all the glass cut and ready, and they came and installed over a couple of hours. They just did a really nice job. It was exactly what we were looking for.

    CASTLE GLASS INC
They arrived on time, removed window, replaced the double pane, and then put window back in place. The job involved painstakingly dismantling and reassembling the window. Since it was raining, they set up a table in our garage to work on the window. When they were done, the window looked as good as new. The entire job, start to finish, took an hour and a half.

    SOLON GLASS CENTER
Solon Glass showed exceptional expertise from start to finish. The salesman Scott provided two detailed quotes for two different options, one less expensive than the other. The work crew measured the windows while I was away, prepared the glass, and then installed the new storm windows in an efficient and friendly manner. I expected to be told that I needed new windows or a new storm-window system; instead, Solon Glass used their technical expertise to find a creative and aesthetically pleasing solution.

    Glass Doctor of Cleveland
The initial experience was good, as the estimator was friendly, and the price was competitive.

From that point on, it was very poor customer service for the installation scheduling, as if the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing. There were several failed attempts, and an inability to get a hold of anyone to confirm. I would get calls from installers saying they were waiting at my house, on days when it wasn't even scheduled. They would leave a number for me to call, which would flip into a voicemail system that could not accept any messages because it was full.  When finally reaching someone who promised an installation date of Wednesday 7/3, I was getting calls on 7/1 from installers at my house, who would no install because I wasn't there. I work, and this whole process was very inconvenient and frustrating.

The installers were nice, but they left shattered glass from the old window all over the outside window sill and grass. They did not clean up.

I had also received an estimate from a local glass company whose bid was $100 higher. In hindsight, I would have chosen then instead. I would not recommend Glass Doctor. Their service leaves a lot to be desired.
