Dr chandra " forgot" to put husb. back on post op BP meds and a diaretic. He gained 15# of fluid and his BP went sky high in a few days. We,re talking stroke city here folks. Couldn,t get off. to return calls on several occassins. Dr pandrangi gave him his angiogram and she was very thorough and professional. Dr wenske was also excellent. If it weren,t for him husb. would have had an Internal pacemaker when he didn,t need one. Unfortunately, in an emergency you are treated by any and all doctors from the group. Also, after this major, Crack open the chest surgery dr chandra didn,t want to see patient for a yr.

    Contemporary OB/GYN
For years it was OK. My first doctor was Dr. Peterson. I quit going to her because she kept insisting that I take estrogen, which I was not going to do. Then I began going to another doctor, and somewhere along the line was switched to Dr. Parks. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Dr. Parks medical services. On June 1 I had an appointment with Dr. Parks for my regular exam and to discuss a problem. The day before the office called me to say that because I am currently uninsured that they "couldn't" see me. I told her that I was planning to pay at the time of the service but it didn't matter. I tried to explain the circumstances that led to me being temporarily uninsured but she didn't care. I asked why they would do this to me and she didn't know. Wow! This office thinks it's OK for me to go without needed medical services because I am temporarily uninsured! Obviously I will never go back. Now I have to start all over with another doctor, and can't get an appointment right away. I hope for my sake that the problem I wanted to discuss is not serious.

    Sunshein Podiatry

I started seeing Dr. Sunshein in January, 2015 for plantar fasciitis in both of my feet.  I waited until the pain was extreme before I saw him.  I went to the office a minimum of once a month (some times more for RPT treatment) for 11 months.

The Staff: The staff was always very courteous and friendly.  They remembered me and made me feel good about coming in.  I enjoyed chatting with the staff and found them to be the most pleasant experience there.

The Treatment: Dr. Sunshein is very conservative with his treatment, and I think in a lot of cases this is a good thing.  One of my feet responded to treatment very quickly and is fixed (YAAAY!)  The other foot was not progressing nearly as quickly as the first.  After seeing him for 6 months (3 months with the custom orthotics) I had to beg for a cortisone shot because the pain was so bad. He told me that it would hurt and tried to talk me out of it.  I'm glad I had it because the pain of the shot was significantly less than every step I took on that foot.  The following month, the pain came back and I asked for another one.  He begrudgingly gave me one (I understand that you can't have too many for fear of rupturing the ligament) but the second time he used a topical numbing spray that he did NOT use the first time.

After 9 months of visited (7 months in orththotics and two cortisone shots) his standard response to everything was "I'll adjust your orthotics."  THERE WERE OCCASSIONS WHEN HE DIDN'T EVEN COME INTO THE ROOM. HE POKED HIS HEAD AROUND THE CORNER AND SAID WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO.  THAT WAS IT.  At this point I actually had to raise my voice at him (which I have NEVER DONE TO A DOCTOR BEFORE) to get him to stop and listen to me that I thought it was time to do something else.  It was at this point that he mentioned he could do radial pulse therapy.  I was very upset that this had not been mentioned months before.  Insurance does not cover the RPT, but the price was reasonable and not excessive ($50/treatment).  I did show some improvement after the first set (three treatments) of RPT.  We opted for a second set, but I saw no improvement.

At different times during my appointments I asked about his experience with plantar fascia release surgery (which should always be a last resort) and he told me he had only done 3 in the last 15 years, and that he wasn't sure where his endoscope to do it was!!!!!!

Because of the above experiences, I chose to switch doctors.  I explained to my new doctor the treatments I had received and the conservative therapy, and my new doctor agrees that conservative approach was smart but I am stalled.  The first appointment he did adjust my orthotic, but instead of waiting a month to see if it was effective, we waited a week and a half.  We have a plan for treatment involving physical therapy and what we will do if that doesn't work.  My new doctor has spent more time at EACH individual visit examining my foot than Dr. Sunshein did if you put all of the 11 months together.

I do not feel that Dr. Sunshein communicated with me enough so I would know what to expect.  He did fix my right foot, but after a year, I am still in considerable pain from my left.  He did not listen to my concerns or take time to answer any of my questions unless I was very forceful.

    I would not recommend him.

I work for a local company that genetic testing that allows patients to better identify which antidepressants work best for the body.  I got the test for free as an employee and was thrilled to see why I was always experiencing so many side effects and lack of therapeutic response from my medications.  It was because >75% of them do not get broken down well by my liver.  Anyway, I brought my test results to Dr. Yadwakar and she wouldn't even look at them.  I told her I wanted to change to Pristiq (one that is genetically effective for me) and she kept trying to push Effexor on me.  I told her to please look at my test results and that it was in my "not effective, high side effects" category.  Again, she wouldn't look at it.  She eventually gave me the medication I asked for but told me that I shouldn't have high hopes for medications as most depressed people "are always sad regardless of medication". She had terrible bedside manner and would not listen to her educated, knowledgeable patient.  I will not be returning.

I visit them regularly and have seen several doctors in that practice since that time due to turnovers.  All have been professional.  I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2008 and had robotic prostate surgery at that time which was successful.  I currently go back annually for follow up to be sure that the cancer has not returned. This is covered by my health insurance except for a $20.00 copay so I can't really comment on the cost.

    McHenry, Dr. Eric M
We've lived in several places and it is, I thought was the best doctor's office I have encountered anywhere. The nurses are incredibly professional and we've been with Dr. Mchenry for over 20 years. We parted. We have moved here. Been with him for entire time here in Ohio and so he treats the entire family. He certainly knows the specialist to refer you to. I would use him again in the future.

    Steven Kilian MD
Dr. Kilian has a small office where he is the sole provider. The staff are friendly and relaxed. He is never rushed, takes time to explain what he is doing, and makes relevant recommendations to enhance one's health.

    Caswell, Dr. Jolinda L
She has been my doctor for a number of years and when I have an issue, she's the one I see. I trust her. She's very communicative and upfront. She doesn't beat around the bush and tells it what it is.

    Drollinger, Dr. Dale W
The best thing about Dr, Drollinger, besides his expertise, is his bedside manner. He has always treated me with the utmost respect and friendliness. The post-exam interview always occurs in his office, not in the examination room. I appreciate this because it affords a respectful conversation on an equal level, Dr. Drollinger is very open and is very easy to ask questions of.
