    Friedman Home Improvement & Masonry
Jason and his team are professionals. We recently moved to the area and needed help with several smaller projects (removal of old cabinets in garage, installation of overhead shelving in garage, mounting of two large screen TVs), as well as the installation of break metal around the foundation of our house. Each job was done in a timely fashion and we received quality work. Jason communicated well for each project. We will definitely use Friedman Home Improvements & Masonry for our future projects. Thank you!

    Quality Home Renovations LLC
The process was great from start to finish, we had Ben and his team to our house for about 6 weeks pretty much every day. Ben clearly knows what he is doing, not only with the actual construction but w design work as well. He was able to help us walk through our plan and make some tweaks that enhanced our space! He is also great with vision, taking an idea and running with it to make it real. Taking a Pinterest idea and working it to our space. I can't say enough great things about him and his team. He put basically a full kitchen in the basement as well as a half bathroom. His drywall guy is fantastic and my family was sad to see his team leave after the time we spent with them. Their work is truly top notch, we are a Real Estate Team and have seen contractors for years and I would use Ben over and over again! He will be doing a sunroom addition next year for us!

    South Dayton Builders & Remodelers
At the one-year warranty point, I was ready to submit a few items needing attention. I found out that the company had gone out of business so now I have to resolve the issues myself. I heard that they had abandoned four other houses they had under construction leaving the home purchasers needing to pay more money to have their houses completed. Near the end of house construction we needed to "push" the company to complete the house according to a revised schedule that they had established so we could move in since we had sold our previous house. In general, we were pleased by the quality of the work performed but would never do business with any re-organized company consisting of the original owners.

They charged us the maximum amount our insurance would pay for water damage(on top of our deductible), basically just to destroy our rec room. We had carpet down there that we glued to the floor. They tore it up and left all the rubbery material behind. They started scraping it up, but just left mostly all of it. They destroyed some walls and didn't repair them. They underwent some changes of management and employment throughout the process. The last guy I talked to, who was the new man that took over the billing, was actually nice. They said that we still owed them some money, and he sent us a letter advising that he didn't feel right charging us that amount. Even still, I can't recommend them to anyone because of the nightmare they caused at the time.

    Cincinnati Glass Block Co
I purchased the deal on Angie's List. Cincinnati Glass Block responded right away to schedule the measurements.  Somehow, the day of the measurements, the paperwork got lost, but this did not delay anything. Chuck came on Tuesday to take the measurements and did a professional job. This took 30 minutes, tops.  On Friday of the same week, the windows were installed.  The installer had the old windows out quickly, and the new windows installed in about 90 minutes. The new windows look great!

    Narrow Path Plumbing

Chris and all of his employees were a joy to work with. From estimate to competition, Chris was available to answer all questions and made sure his guys knew exactly what needed to be done. They had to break up and remove a lot to concrete and gravel to expose the broken pipe. The guys stayed late into the evening to get the job done in one day and poured concrete at 8 pm so that work the next day would not be effected. After the job was done we had a few questions and Chris was quick to respond and explain things to us. He also found a small leak in a pipe that was not part of the original estimate and quickly fixed the problem on the spot.

I will use Narrow Path Plumbing again and I recommend them to everyone who wants a good price and peace of mind.

    Everitt Concrete
The contractor visited the site at the time agreed upon to provide an estimate.  The contractor discussed a plan to demolision the existting porch and construction of the new structure. He provided a listing of the materials, with the spcifications.  Once we authorized him to provide the work  he identified the approximate time frame work would begin.  The work was accomplished in accordance with the plan.  The work site was kept neat and well protected.  The crew was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful.  I highly recommend Everitt Concrete and would definitely use them again.

    Quality Waterproofing OD LLC
All seals held until this Spring we had the melting the of two feet of snow on our roof accompanied by two solid days of drenching rain when one leak reappeared.  Our house is located in an area that has a lot of clay and gets "swampy" when there is a lot of water.

When Quality Waterproofing was called about the problem, they came out to our house, helped us remove the paneling and trim work in the basement that covered the leaking area to determine the exact location and the cause of the leak.  They infused the leaking area with a special epoxy that expanded into the crack of the foundation from the inside and fixed the problem.

This was almost a year after their initial work on our foundation, and we had decided to take the alternative of sealing the crack from the outside. Even so, they did the additional fix at no charge.

Do's and Don'ts:  If you have a foundation leak, DO have it sealed from the inside if you can at all do it - even if it means removing basement finish work.  DO call Quality Waterproofing.  I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Wheeler electric responded as quickly as could have possibly been expected. I bought the Wheeler deal of $69.00 for troubleshooting and an hour of technician service.  I made the online purchase in mid-morning, after which to my surprise within several minutes I had an email from Wheeler electric asking for more details on my situation.  When I input my discrepancy of how a GFCI along my garage wall would not reset and was having an effect on other electrical outages within my home they offered to come out that very same day.  Their technician "Jason" arrived promptly at time they said he would, he assessed the situation I had an immediately started his troubleshooting breaking it down into sections where he was checking power, after he was done he identified a fault in my outdoor lamp post light.  I was impressed with his technical knowledge and how he went right to work once I explained all the outages I was experiencing.  I did not have a lamp post light on had for him to replace the bad light with but he removed the bad one and explained to me the installation process and I was able to replace it myself later that evening after I got to store to make a purchase of new one.  Since I had time remaining on the time allowed for the Angie's list deal Jason installed an outdoor light timer for me that I had on hand so my front outdoor lights work on an indoor timer now, which is very convenient for myself.  When I showed Jason around the house and all that was being effected by the GFCI not resetting he pointed out to me an area in our unfinished basement that should not be wired into that particular electrical load.  He gave me a price quote to install new electrical outlet and line for me of which was same as deal price per hour plus materials.  I agreed and he completed running new electrical line and outlet for me.  Three weeks now and no issues from the work performed.  Jason was very professional and showed his expertise in his knowledge and abilities.  Very good representation of Wheeler Electric company.  Highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done.

Korrect Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning Inc
Our sewer line collapsed and we found out our sewer connected to the city in my neighbors back yard.  The neighbors had built on the utility easement to the tune of thousands of dollars.  The connection itself was 12 feet down.  This presented many problems , mainly finding anyone who would make the "big dig".
Korrect was amazing from the start, Phil, our appraiser went above and beyond to find a way to get this done.  When all was said and done, Phil had obtained permits from the city to put in the new line, which NO other contractor could do.  When I talked to the County sewer group, they had nothing but praise and respect for Phil and Korrect plumbing.    Phil also talked to the neighbors and was instrumental in helping obtain their financial assistance in paying for permits instead of digging in their lawn.
We had several other bids once Phil had done all the leg work and Phil met the best one.   We would have used them regardless and told them that -so kudos to them.
The sewer was connected and usable in less than a day and they finished up within 2.  They did both the dig and fill with quality work and attention to detail.  It's never pretty when your entire lawn is dug up, but they did a great job!
Bottom line, I will always use Korrect for quality, price and professionalism..
