    Charles Shaw MD
This practice is very professional.  They recently joined with Avita and moved out to the Richland Mall. We love Dr. Shaw and Susan Baker and would highly recommend them to anyone. The wait times to see the Dr. are consistently short - So they stay on time most of the time.  Well visits are scheduled for mornings and afternoons are for sick visits (usually).  Both Dr. Shaw and Susan Baker ensure that they answer any questions or concerns that you might have without making you feel rushed.

    PrimeCare Pediatrics
Appointment went well, wait til was normal and office staff very friendly. Got to see the Nurse Practitioner as our normal Pediatrician was making hospital rounds that day. Quick diagnosis and accurate diagnosis. Billing was done correctly and overall visit was great. Would certainly recommend this practice as they have wonderful hours and many different pediatricians and nurse practitioners that you can see. They also offer sick appointments with usually same day visit.....it may not be with your regular pediatrician but they strive to get your child seen if needed. The Saturday hours are great too as my kids usually manage to get sick on the weekend.

The Staff is great! everytime i call to talk to a nurse when my daughter is sick, they are Always so kind to me. They listen and provide useful information. I never feel rushed when I am in there. Dr Koester is my daughter's doctor and she is excellent with her. She makes it fun to take her to the doctor and she is never afraid to go. highly recommend.

    Colleen McKinney MD
Dr. McKinney has been our childrens's pediatrician for 2 years now and has done an excellent job. She's friendly and extreme interactive with our kids. One of the biggest aspects that we liked about Dr. McKinney is that upon learning of our decision to not vaccinate our children she simple asked a few questions and has respected our decision as parents. Too many doctors start attacking parents for making such a decision but Dr. McKinney never made us feel attacked but rather curious as to why we made such a choice with our kids. Nursing and scheduling staff are great as well.

    PrimeCare Pediatrics
Our children are 6 and 3 and we have taken them to Primecare Pediatrics since birth. Their physician, Kim Reilly, is thorough and very sweet with our children. And when she is unavailable, our experience with the other doctors and nurses there has been outstanding. Their nurseline has been invaluable as well, calling us back usually within an hour and providing great advice and helping us to determine when the kids need to be seen by a doc. Great experience.

Impressed that the physician consulted with another physician in the office. Ms. Paisly was outstanding keeping my son calm during the xray.

They are super friendly and caring. The only bad thing I have to say is that they don't always tell you everything (such as when to start your child on cows milk or turn them around in the car) but they give you a paper with all of the information on it.

    Mansfield Pediatrics Inc
I'm sure I am like every other parent when I say my child comes before anything in saying this I will not be returning to Mansfield pediatrics again because I did not feel that they felt the same. The first time they refused to provide my son the the care and shots that he needed was because we had a 300 dollar bill that we were paying what we could afford to pay it off and they would not see him until it was paid. The second time was today (note we paid off the previous balance prior to this appointment) I am waiting for my insurance card from work but knowing that he needs his shots scheduled the appointment anyway, they would not give him his shots today because they said we had to pay for them up front which would have been 400 and some dollars which I could have paid but the fact that money comes before my son is not something that I feel a children's doctor should be about especially when payments are being made. feeling discussed!!! So I decided to get his shot at the health department and seek a new doctor.

I have 4 children, 2 of which were seen a couple months ago for the first time and 2 more I needed to get in.  They insisted that I bring in a card stating that they were the PCP, even though they had never been seen there!  So, I did, then gave me trouble about getting medical records to them before I could even schedule an appointment.  Finally, they allowed me to schedule.  I have a very special needs child who has seen a million specialists in her day and I have ALL of her medical records to date with no issue.  Until now.  I provided the doctor with my own personal records and then asked for the physician's notes from the initial, routine physical he did on her.  I provided the majority of the info myself, yet they sent me to several people in the office who said I had to pay for it and sign a release.  I have NEVER had to pay for records and CD's, films, especially one simple page.  They gave me a hard time about it, and one person told me I would have to pay $35!!  I told them that if this is their policy that they call law, (I was given reports for the 1st 2 kids without trouble), then I would pull them out of the practice.  I cancelled the appointment I had for the 4th child over this treatment.  I received a Certified Letter in the mail from this practice that states, "The doctor-patient relationship is based on trust and respect.  It has been brought to our attention that you feel our office policies are inadequate.  You mentioned that you were going to transfer out of the practice, so we will continue to see your children for the next 30 days, from the date of this letter, on an emergency basis only.  Once you have established with the new physician, please sign a records release, and we will forward the medical records to the new doctors office.  The appointment for your child on 01-24-12 will be cancelled because a physical is not an emergency visit.  Regretfully,  Ontario Children's Health Associates".  This is sad, a waste of time and money and quite petty.  The doctor we saw was blown away at my daughter's issues and the specialists we saw and said he was flattered that we'd choose him for her care.  Not with this staff.  Good doctors are loosing great patients.  A change needs to happen.
