  • 1) Said they would call within 1/2 hr of arrival.  After call came saying he was on his way, I emptied all fridge contents & shelves so he could access area with problem. It was an hr before he arrived so food sat out longer than expected.
    2) He opened up the back of the fridge, looked at it, slightly bent a piece of metal "to better direct the water" which my husband and I had already done before reporting the claim.  He then ran water through the drain line to make sure it was "Clear", which my husband and I had already done before reporting the claim.
    3) He put it back together and said it was an un-fixable problem and my best bet was to put shims under the front legs so gravity could direct the water better.
    4) He charged me the $100 Deductible from Home Warranty Co.  It was less than 10 Minutes of work total. I understand that's his contract with the Home Warranty Co, so even though a steep fee for Minutes worked, that did not upset me. However...
    5) I sent a picture of the problem to Samsung.  They replied and said "There are no recalls on this problem & to permanently Solve this issue, all that needed to happen was to have a Repair Tech come out and fix the problem and asked if I would like them to Schedule Repair"!!!  

    6) The Report turned into my Home Warranty Company by Preferred Appliance said that I had a CLOGGED DRAIN LINE that he had cleared it.  So my Home Warranty Company believed the problem was FIXED and everything is fine.  It was a Lie that the drain line was clogged, as previously stated the line was checked by my husband & I BEFORE turning in the claim.  And even when the tech was here and he ran water through the line, he himself stated that the drain line was accepting water and CLEAR! 
    7) Now I have the conflict of having to pay a Second tech to come out and see what needs done to fix the problem and will also have the conflict of my Home Warranty Co showing the issue as Repaired so if it ends up being a covered issue, I will have to file a dispute with my Home Warranty Co. This is all extra added work an headache due to someone being dishonest with me and with my Home Warranty Co. as to what the problem was.  This repair was mandatory to be completed quickly due to having my daughters wedding at our home and having 100 guests at our house.  Now I am not only on a time crunch to get this done with a 2nd provider but it is an added expense to an already tight budget from paying for a wedding.  It's a lot of un-necessary stress at an already stressful time caused by someone being dishonest.

  • TC has worked on appliances in my home, so when we required service on the gas range in our church, I called them. The pilot light would not stay lit. The range needed a new thermo coupler which we could not locate. TC found the necessary part, repaired the range in a timely manner. They were very professional and thorough in their work.

  • HE WAS VERY HONEST AND HE TOLD US WE COULD PAY HIM SO MUCH TO FIX IT, BUT INFORMED US THAT IT WOULD BE MORE ECONOMICAL TO REPLACE IT. HE WAS VERY POLITE. HE ALSO WORKED ON OUR WASHING MACHINE AND HE TRIED TO FIX IT WITHOUT USING A NEW PART, TO SAVE US MONEY. HE WAS ON TIME, VERY PROFESSIONAL, HE DIDNT LEAVE A MESS AT ALL, VERY CLEAN. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE CONSIDERING HOW FAR WE ARE FROM THE CITY. I WILL DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN IF I HAVE ANY OTHER PROBLEMS.
