Mold Removal reviews in Canton

  • Air guard did a fantastic job of informing myself and my family of the dangers of the mold detected in our home, he educated us on prevention and mitigation, and he was open and honest about the plans to read my specific case. Gil was very honest and complete with his work and in my opinion went over and beyond the call of duty.

  • I scheduled Tim for a pre-purchase mold inspection on a property I intended to buy. Tim was on time for the inspection and was friendly and courteous during the inspection. He visually inspected the basement for mold and also performed a test that he sent back to the lab for more detailed results. If it was just the service performed that he was hired to do, I would have been satisfied. But what really impressed me about Tim was, while doing the mold inspection he was paid to do, he also noticed some potential issues with the house that were unrelated to the mold and he took the time to point those issues out to me even though it took him extra time to do. I would definitely use Tim's services again. He went above and beyond expectations.

  • I am selling my home and I wanted to get a cost for and opinion  on why my basement leaks water and also for getting rid of the chronic mold on the walls.
The owner, Gil, figured out the problems and told me exactly what was wrong. I need to have a sump pump installed, as well as have the paneling removed along one wall where his "moisture meter" measured moisture and probable mold. They would fix the issues along the paneled wall.
I told Gil that I personally would not have the work done, but that I wanted to have any prospective buyers aware of the cost of the work to be done, which he quoted at $4,359 (includes a $500 discount that came as part of the inspection report fee).
Gil was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He gave me a great education about the various types of mold. One side of my basement has black-colored mold, but he told me that is not THE black mold that could make me sick. He also showed me a grayish mold that was growing in a few areas which I never noticed due to it growing on brown paneling. He told me that type of mold is more dangerous, but I could easily remove it using Murphy's Oil Soap. I really appreciated this tip!!
If I personally was having the work done, I would absolutely have Gil due it. He was very forthright at answering my questions and also did not try to tell me I needed any unnecessary work. While he was inspecting my basement and once he was done, he asked me many times if he had answered all of my questions. I really appreciated this.

  • The water line coming into our house broke, flooding the basement.  Most of the water went into the storage/work/laundry/furnace areas, but the finished part of the basement was also damaged.  Dry patrol arrived shortly after we called.  The cleared out the basement, moving dry items we hoped to save to the garage and wet items we did not want to a dumpster.  They then installed a huge dehumidifier, an air filter, and 15 commercial fans.  They provided a lock box for the door so that their technician could come back daily and monitor the situation.  However he always called first and we were always there when he came.  We were most concerned about carpet, carpet padding, and dry wall.  The entire basement, including these areas, were monitored by special tools and probes.  They removed baseboard in the wettest areas to check the drywall and pulled the carpet in the one area to visually inspect it as well and to apply an anti-mold treatment.  After a full week the basement was totally dry and they removed their equipment.
Dry Patrol is not the large company recommended by our insurance company.  It is not a franchise operation, but a small locally owned up and comer.  Our plumber recommended them so I gave them a shot.  The insurance adjuster clearly would have preferred a larger chain operation but they worked professionally with Dry Patrol.

  • They do mole remediation and that sort of things. I did not have molds but we decided that after because of the age of the house and because of the disrupting dust and everything they did a great job of taking it all out that it was best to sanitize the house. They come and they look at the house and they make sure if you have mold then they treat for the mold.

  • I think it was $225 but if you had the work done then it was all inclusive that is if he took floor samples and all that. He has a light that he can walk around and look and see whether or not you have mold and having found them then it was all just part of that we decided the duct needed to be cleaned.

  • I truly could not have asked for a better company and people to fall into my lap when I was in need of mold remediation services.  Andy did his homework on the issues of my mold problems and dug deep to help me as much as he could.  His thoroughness is out of this world... he is knowledgable in the field and very trustworthy.  His works got a little smudge of paint on my door mat coming into my home... you know where you wipe your feet from all of the worlds YUCK!  When they returned from lunch, they had purchased a new one to replace it, I never even asked... very professional and kind of them to do so!!  The work was completed as advised and the clean-up they did was above what most services seem to do these days.  I was asked to check over the work a couple of times and if I wanted anything revisited they would certainly do so. I am very pleased with the promptness, professionalism and dedication this company has for it's clients.  Thank you so much Andy and his crew for helping me keep my house safe!

  • I could not be happier with the results.  The attic looks as good as new and this was not just a cosmetic fix.  The original problem of poor ventilation was addressed and fixed as well.  The owner of the company, Greg, is honest, knowledgably, and straightforward.  The crew that worked on our house, Kurtis and Kevin worked diligently and took pride in there work and were trustworthy and honest.

I strongly recommend Monarch for this work.

  • The testing was a result of findings from a home inspector recommendation. Upon seeing the area of concern he described what he would be testing and how. He also took time to point out that from what he could see there should not have been a need for special mold inspection. The testing verified his initial analysis.

  • A pond on my property flooded my basement with 4 1/2 feet of water. This company came in with a crew of 9 and in one day, they cleared out the basement. In one regard I'm pleased at that progress, in another regard and $4,800 later, everything in my basement is gone. I was allotted just so much money for the clean up, repair, mold mitigation, new furnace, water heater clean up and more. My basement was full of all kinds of things of course including antique furniture, tools (a sledgehammer and shovels that they asked to borrow then kept). I was advised that everything in the basement would be taken out and anything I wanted to keep would be taken back. That didn't happen. They took it all out and disappeared with all of it. I have laid awake nights thinking about all of the items that are gone. Some of which I know I could have salvaged. They also didn't complete the task. When 4:30 rolled around they were gone.. with incomplete work and all of my belongings... damaged or not. When he presented the bill he was very intimidating and rude. He was intimidating and a bit threatening to the point of reducing me to fear and I asked him to leave. I still have work to be done, I'm disabled, very sick and out a lot of money I don't have. He sent his son back out to re-spray for mold. The son even indicated that the clean up hadn't even been completed. I joined Angie's List to make better choices about who to hire. Businesses like this that take advantage of people should be pointed out. I'm doing that here.
