I walked in and was promptly greeted and welcomed into the shop. I asked for a quote on a couple products and was provided prices and at the same time got some shopping done. They carry quality goods and provide excellent service.

Very well. Originally told it might take a week to 10 days for the repair, but called in just 2 days. A small shop, but had accessories and guns of all sorts for purchase. Was very thorough on explaining what was done and what may still be an issue sometime in the future.

Excellent!!! The instructors were very knowledgeable and patient. I never shot a gun before, however, Doug made me feel safe! I'd highly recommend this class for anyone whether you're a beginner or have handled firearms before. The price is very reasonable!

Excellent. Very nice small classroom setting enabled all questions to be answered precisely and completely. I felt completely comfortable with handling my firearm at the end of the day. This class is a real value for all who are interested in being able to protect themselves. Thank you Kevin.

    Creekside Custom Gunsmith
Dave Clough provided absolutely top notch work in all respects.  Moreover, in my experience, the price for services performed was quite reasonable.   I have referred several friends to Creekside and would not hesitate to do so again.  I would not hesitate to utilize his servicews again.

It was like a $400 trade off so I only paid $60. They have a lot of selection. The salespeople are really excellent and very knowledgeable.

    Commence Firearms Training Academy
I signed my son, my niece and myself up for the "Shoot With The Instructors" course.  They had several dates and times available for the course, but the only one that worked for me was an evening class that they offered.  It was actually the second of two classes available that evening.  The time was ideal (8 -10 PM), that way I didn't have to rush home to change, pick up my firearm (no firearms permitted in vehicles at work) and rush up to Cleveland for the early class. That's just one of the things that makes Commence Fire a great place to take a firearms course.  When creating their schedules, they keep in mind that most people work and have families to take care of.  It's difficult for a lot of people to get into courses like these at other places because it doesn't fit into their schedule. Once we arrived, we paid our fee and did some final registration for the course, then waited for the last of the class to show up.  Then the fun began!  Yes, fun.  The staff takes firearms safety VERY seriously, but they don't want you wound up so tight that you don't have fun learning what you're there to learn.  The instruction was one on one, with a coach present at each stall.  Everyone was made to feel comfortable while on the range and treated with courtesy and respect.  There were novices in the class as well as experienced shooters.  There was even a handicapped shooter.  Another great thing about Commence Fire, they will try and accommodate anyone to get them at ease and proficient with firearms.  My son is a lefty and as such, it's difficult for me to show him proper techniques with me being a righty.  The coach that worked with him got him squared away in short order and soon he was sending rounds down range with confidence.   As far as the actual instruction I received, I learned a lot of new things.  I've been around firearms most of my adult life.  I spent seven years in the Marine Corps and qualified as a rifle expert five out out of the seven.  I did qualify expert with the pistol the two years I was required to do so, but pistols were something I still didn't have a lot of experience with.  I was an okay shot in my opinion, shooting a cake pan sized group "in the black" at approximately 20 feet with more stragglers than I cared for.  After completing this course I am able to shoot a group about the size of a large fist, with much fewer stragglers, as long as I follow the instructions I was given!   I have much more confidence in my pistol shooting abilities after taking this course.  So what did I learn?  I'm a much steadier shot than I thought I was (my coach recorded me shooting).  The bigger my target, the bigger my chance of "missing" (drifting all over the black).  That's a mental picture I have to overcome.  Practice, practice, practice stance, grip and squeezing of the trigger.  Take my time, speed comes with proficiency and repetition (muscle memory). The course was well worth the money and time invested.  I'll definitely be going back for more classes in the coming months.
