    work went as planned, slight delay due to wrong shake siding having been ordered. had to re-order and supplier did not have enough to complete the job, so had to wait for it to come in. work crew was very neat and professional. Bob and Bob were very knowledgable and hard working. they made sure we were happy with what they did and explained everything as they went along .Dan is very easy to work withand the price was good.  We made a major change to the front of the house and it came out perfect . I would highly reccommend Dan and his crew.

    09/04/11 Saw Leaf Filter display booth in Commercial Building at Canfield Fair.
    09/09/11 I met with the salesman John Gee. We walked around the house and John looked at the gutters. There were two places where tree limbs had hit the house and bent the gutters. John explained that the gutters were good and they could be straightened and they did not need replaced. He said they would clean and adjust the slope on all gutters. I approved $3373 to complete the agreed upon tasks.
    09/15/11 Begin installation. I periodically checked on the work because it seemed to me that it was going very quickly for a 3 thousand dollar job. I mentioned to the installers that I had not seen anyone use their levels to check the slope and I was told the water drained so they were okay. I said the spouts were not straight as I had been told they would be. I was told that was as straight as they could get them. I went inside and called John Gee on the cell phone number he had given me. I got voice mail and I ask that he call me as soon as possible. When I did not receive a call back, I called again and left another voice mail explaining my concerns and stating the $3300 was a large amount for a half day���s work and I wasn���t sure I was getting my money���s worth and in addition I was now told the spouting was not good and in fact, leaked. They pointed out black spots on the bottom of the spouting which indicated holes. As the installers were finishing up and since I had still not heard back from John, I called Leaf Filter and spoke with Scott, the installation manager. Scott told me he would call the installers and get back to me.
    09/26/11 Eleven days passed and I never heard back from Scott, so I called and asked for Scott. I was told that he was in the field and he would call me tomorrow.
    09/27/11 No call from Scott
    09/28/11 Scott called. I told him I was not happy because both the salesman and the installers should have seen the spouting was not good and really needed to be replaced. And John should have explained the spouting could not really be straightened but they would only do what they could. I was also disappointed because I paid for a lifetime warrantee which would probably be a couple of years until the spouting had to be replaced. As for replacing the spouting Scott stated this was not his call but that he would have Mike Miller call me and that I would have to work it out with him.
    09/29/11 Joseph Roschival called at 10 am. He said he had been in Cincinnati and just got back and was briefed by Scott. His understanding was that I was looking to get the spouting replaced. I told him I didn���t have a remedy in mind but if he could get me a good price, I would surely consider it. He told me he would pass it on and someone would be in touch with me.
    In summery I would say this:
    1) Most of the problems came from the salesman. He was not qualified to judge whether the spouting was good or bad and stated it was good and it wasn���t. He said the dented spouting could be fixed and he should have said they would do what they could.
    2) The installers probably should have checked the spouting first and reported back to their company that it would not be a wise investment to install three thousand dollar filters over worthless spouting.
    3) The communication could have been much better. When someone says they will call you back, they should do just that. If there is a reason for a delay in getting back to the customer, let the customer know there will be a delay and why.
    4) It is a little pricey but I think it is the best product on the market for keeping debris out of the spouting and that���s why I selected it.
    5) I think I received a good price on the new spouting.
    6) It has now been on for a year and it is an excellent product and a good investment.
    7) I am pleased with the final resolution. I just wish it had been easier.
