    Called Steve and he quoted $29.95 for service call and clean and oiling. I said machine was clean and oiled and he said timing was probably off and for around $50 he could fix it. Steve came out, he needed my paper towels because he did not bring any and later a properly fitting screw driver to fit after he tore up one of the slotted heads on an adjustment for the bobbin holder. Turns out he tore it up because he did not loosen another set screw which holder the adjuster in place. While I was getting the tool he removed the bobbin holder and when I came back in he said it was missing pieces and another part was installed wrong. Strange thing, the bobbin was working earlier that day and there is no possible way to install the bobbin holder retainer wrong! He claimed to just happen to have a used part in his small tool box just like I needed for $40 that was not missing any pieces. But now suddenly price jumped to $165 from $50. Steve then claims machine is best ever made and worth $400. Not true as it turns out, just his way of pressuring customer to make repair and justify his price. I asked how did we go from $50 plus $40 for the used part to $165? He says additional labor charge. He then said $125 was as low as he would go. Let me tell anyone reading this that this bobbin holder is removed with your finger in under 3 seconds and reinstalled in same time. FACT. Total time he spent at house was well under 25 minutes. Steve then says he timed machine and when he used it for first time the needle broke instantly. Said it still wasn't timed but he did not do anything more except play with screw he mangled earlier and it still never rotated and took tension disc apart which also took all of 5 seconds and reinstall. He got it to sew about 6 inches and it looked good on top but underneath was not very tight stitch. Saw that after he was gone because he left the sample. He also sprayed WD40, which 2 other shops I called after this mess said is a definite no-no. Thread now soaks up all the oil he sprayed all over the bobbin area and I will have to clean it myself. I watched as he oiled the rest of machine with way too much because the manual says to oil with ONE drop per oil. He wound a bobbin for me but after he left I saw it had loops of loose thread. Bottom line machine was not working properly and I was "forced" to pay him just to get him out of the house before he tore something else up. After he left I watched a video on how to time and he NEVER even touched the gear where you time it. This guy can not work with his hands. His tools are cheap and his skill level is sub par in my opinion. He wrote an amount on the back of a business card and it is not it itemized and this is the only receipt I got. Very un-professional. After Steve left I discovered while he had the tensioner apart he removed the stop plate and took it with him. This part controls the dial tension know so it can only rotate 1 revolution. I called Steve and his reply was I did not need it. He said to sew everything on tension setting 3. Witch 3 the knob now rotates 3 revolution showing 3 3 different times. I insisted he send it back to me. As of this review I have not received it. Would never hire him again or any of his family. I want all my money back from him. I know more how this machine works now than I did before and all of my knowledge came from watching videos and none of it from watching this guy!

    Absolutely outstanding! This was my first experience using movers and I did my homework. After checking out lots of Angie's List and other reviews, I decided to go with Leaders because they do guaranteed estimates based on inventory which seemed to me to be the best approach. They exceeded my expectations in every way. The crew members were polite and respectful. They worked incredibly hard and efficiently. They were kind and made me feel very comfortable. I am a female and my mother and I were alone with the 2 male crew members all day and felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I really can't say enough about what an excellent experience this was. We will definitely be hiring Leaders and requesting the same crew for our move into a permanent home in a few months.

I received the promised phone call the day before to advise me of a time window for pick up. The men arrived on time and were professional and friendly.  They did the work quickly and safely.  I plan on using them again for the move to our new house.

    He was very knowledgeable and had all parts needed to repair, if this does not completely resolve problem, he also gave me an estimate of the next step which is very reasonable.
    I have had the watch worked on before and payed a lot of money to not get it fixed.
    I will go back with any other watch problem and recommend him to others.

    The first of many issues started when my items were supposed to be delivered around 10am on August 16. I received a call at 9am that morning from Mr. Thompson stating that they had one of their trucks break down and the delivery would be delayed but that he would touch base with me when he had a better grasp of when the truck would be fixed. I had to call Mr. Thompson at least three times that day to check on the status of my delivery and needless to say, my things did not get delivered on that day. My items were not delivered until 6pm the following day (Saturday the 17th), after several phone calls to try to get a time frame as to when. There were no issues with my furniture that was delivered (no stains, dents/tears, smells, ect.) however my washer and dryer (that were only 1 1/2 yrs old at this point) were not among the things delivered. He assured me that he was sure he had these things at his warehouse but that they were probably in a mislabeled crate as the warehouse manager  was mislabeling crates and this was not the first time this had happened. He said to give him a couple days and he would get them to me. It is now a month later and I still do not have my washer and dryer. I had one phone call returned on the following Monday (the 19th) and Mr. Thompson stated that his wife was in the hospital but he would resume the search for my missing items as soon as possible. I have not had any contact with him since, even after voicemails left on a daily basis and emails sent in the weeks since my original delivery date. I filed a compliant through the BBB and got no response from Mr. Thompson that way. I am assuming at this point that I will never see these items again and am now in the process of trying to get some kind of monetary compensation. Per the contract signed, Thompson is supposed to reimburse $.60 per pound if items are missing or damaged. He has yet to make good on this to me. In looking at other complaints filed on the BBB web site, it appears as though this company has several issues with items going missing and then the customer never gets those items back and/or never receives the compensation they are entitled to, due to the contract signed by the customer and Thompson Moving.

    This review is about my experience over the past year since Time Warner has taken over Insight, a company that had kept me happy for 8 years.  In the past year, I have had issues requiring service appointments more than 20 times and another 15-20 issues that eventually resolved themselves or were worked out over the phone with tech support.  The good: Customer service reps have been professional and polite, as have the service techs who come to the house.  The bad: I've had nearly non-stop issues with my services, which include phone, internet and cable TV.  For over a month, I had issues after they had installed my 2nd phone line for work.  It didn't work, they mixed up the phone lines so my work number rang at home and my home number rang in my home office, they put the voice mail on the wrong line, and there were connection issues with the service going in and out.  Finally, those problems were finally worked out.  I had at least 5 visits for my cable TV connection problems.  Our TV was tiling so bad you couldn't watch some channels.  Over the course of 3 months and multiple visits this was finally fixed, but still happens periodically.  Our internet service has been hit or miss and we have to reset often.  It goes in and out sometimes all day long or maybe only for a few hours.  Now they've upgraded the digital phone service and required me to switch over last week.  My 2 phone lines haven't worked right since.  I am shopping for other alternatives, although in my area (Pickerington/Canal Winchester), there may only be one, if that. I would never, ever, recommend Time Warner if you actually have another choice, not due to the people, but due to their inability to provide a service that works on a consistent basis, and their inability to get it right the 1st time.
