    Quinlin, Dr. Teresa
Dr. Quinlin was great, personable and knowledgable, and diagnosed me with bloodwork no one had ever run before with several serious conditions on my first and second visits. We then worked together to assemble a combination of prescriptions, supplements, and life-style changes to treat the conditions she had diagnosed, and now I am already on my way to a healthier life after only seeing her for six months or so. Sometimes I have to wait a while for her, but she always spends enough time with each patient. Her office is not that professional inside, it has a rather "country" decor, with a motif of images of angels, but it is her individualistic style. Her staff is always very professional and courteous and prompt. I am very happy and plan to continue seeing her.

    David Whitt DO
He is excellent. I've been going to him for two years. The staff is very friendly. I haven't had any problems getting an appointment. The office is nice. It's a brand new building; it has only been there for three years. The wait-time is usually 10 to 15 minutes.

    Canyon Medical Center Inc
Our dentist had just combined with someone there and I went recently but I found them overpriced. The wait system is changing so most of us are very underwhelmed with what's happening. As I get older, I'm planning to change my doctor to the Picklington area. I've been seeing him for 4 years. I like that there's a professional nurse there that helps if you need a quick appointment if something happens, because it's very hard to get appointments. I find them efficient but they're on the level where I think they had been limited by Medic-aid and Medicare and everything so they don't give you that extra time but I find the copay with Medi-Go is very reasonable. The copay for family doctors now is zero. I like the idea that they are offering a group of wellness test, like lifeline screening, it's more of a private group that's been around for many years but I used to go to every year. They give certain tests for aneurism, with the neck, the groin, the circulation system and everything. Mount Carmel also offers it and it's probably around the same price so I just go to Canyon for that. They're trying to do more preventive care which I think is great. I haven't found anything to really focus that strongly on over the years. Because of the fact that I'm getting old and I want to stay closer to my area, only when necessary I'm trying to find someone closer to home so I don't have to drive so far but I would use them again if I had to.

    Patel, Shailesh
The appointment went ok, waiting time about an hour from appointment time to actual visit. The device check is done before Dr. Patel comes in and goes over the results and updates me on future events and appointments. There are times when I need a few minutes to digest the information before asking questions and I always get the feeling he is in a hurry to move on to next appointment so don't always think of all the questions I should ask but usually do have time to ask some questions.

    Meleca, Dr. Michael J
Like all Doctors Offices there is usually a half hour to hour wait between scheduled appointment time and actual time. The staff does the device check and usually answers questions on results, then Doctor comes in and goes over the results and offers advice.
I have been frustrated by my heart problems which were found by my primary care doctor. The result was the need to have a pacemaker implanted which I did in 2009. Then follow up tests over the next year showed that my heart beat was not as efficient as it should be and Dr. Meleca said I needed a different type of pacemaker with a third wire. Prior to the second pacemaker, Dr. Meleca wanted to do cardiac catherization to check coronary arteries and they were ok. While getting ready to leave, Dr Patel came by and said if he had known I was in the hospital and all prepped for surgery, he would have done the second pacemaker that same day, so much for good communications between Doctors. So my third trip to cardiac care unit to get the new pacemaker and additional wire was done and after recuperating I went back in for an echocardiogram. The new pacemaker was working better and my heart efficiency went up a lot and I thought I had 7-8 years before I needed any more hospital time. During a later device check the staff could not get a reading so sent me back to Dr Patel. After a specialist was able to get a reading, it was determined that one wire was using too much battery to make a heartbeat and that I would need to have the wire replaced and a new pacemaker implanted again since the battery was going down much faster than it should. This makes my third pacemaker in roughly 5 years plus the trip to have the catherization.
I realize Dr. Meleca isn't responsible for what has happened and is just the messenger at times. I always try to maintain a positive attitude and remain optimistic about my future but there are times when I leave his office that I feel like I have one foot in the grave and my condition is worse than what I thought and that my optimism is gone. I would prefer an honest assessment but with some hope for the future and some positive encouragement.

The staff is great, and the doctor is very, very nice. They call me as soon as they get my blood work in, and tell me if there's anything wrong and what they recommend. Dr. Franz talks to me in an easy, understandable language. She is real personable and very knowledgeable. It took us a while, but we found them and every doctor we need now. They get me right in, which is great. My son had a blood clot and they have a Coumadin clinic there, so they have some specialists. So my son doesn't have to go anywhere else but there. I get my x-rays and EKGs done there. They have those on site and they don't have to send me anywhere, which is really nice. If I want to do an x-ray I can do it the same day, which is nice. I don't even have to schedule it; they just do it. We would use them again in the future.

They're fine. The quality of the chair-side manner depends on who you see. Dr. Grather would get an A, Dr. Lane would get a B. I won't be using them anymore because my primary care doctor has moved from there.
