    I called to ask for an estimate & Brien was able to send someone over the same day. Not entirely when they said they'd be there but it was last minute & I was being squeezed in so I appreciate that they made the effort to service us the same day. Steven was the technician that came to the house. Great guy - we are very happy with his work. We would absolutely use again. Their price was very fair for what they did. We had a 3" pipe over 100' long - he was able to unclog it quickly.

    Excellent. This happened on a Sunday and there was NO extra charge. Rec'd an appt the very same day we called (Sunday morn) Excellent service person. Very nice and knew exactly what the problem was and took care of it without any problems. Answered all of my questions. He was very experienced in this type of work. Definitely will call them again.

    I had a leak on Sunday, went online to Home Advisor was called within 30 minutes time. Very professional response scheduled next day appointment for 8:00 am arrival for a free estimate. Bradley and Kory arrived around 8:30 calling ahead telling me they were a little late due to coming from Delaware morning traffic. They explained everything in details and completed the work within an hour. They also showed me and explained what was previously done wrong and replaced everything with quality parts at a decent prize. 90 Day Labor Warranty included. I would recommend them any day. I had other people do work on this before but now I see how it was done incorrectly and ended up costing me more to correct it.

    The Eco Plumbers & Drains
    The technician showed up at the exact time that I was informed he would arrive, despite the snow and bad roads.  He then installed the  disposal and even unclogged a drain for not cost. He also was very careful to not dirty my floors with the snow!   He was very friendly and professional.  The job he did was quick and well done. the receipt was emailed to me with a picture of the work he had done.

    Two hours after they were to arrive, I called the switchboard, and the receptionist said they were running behind, but she would call the service person to get a better time estimate for their actual time of arrival. Two hours after that, about 6pm, I received a call from the receptionist, she got "busy" and forgot to call the service person. When I finally got a call from the service person about 6:30pm, they informed me they could not come out and complete the call because the supply store they use was already closed. At that point I was transfered back to the receptionist to "reschedule". I told her how unprofessional and inconciderate their entire communication and process were. She then was surprised when I told her I would not be rescheduling the repair with them.

    We purchased a bank owned home in February and the general contractor was contracted to repair the plumbing and that didn't happen. We had leaks inside the walls, missing fixtures on the shower and bathtub, a leaking disposal on the wrong side of a double sink in the kitchen, and broken and clogged drain lines going from the house to the main sewage line. It was a lot of work. The technician was kind and assured me that he would be able to address all of our concerns with no problems. Having already paid for this work once i was very concerned and watched their work very closely. 
    After a long hot day all of the work was completed and i was pleased with the cleanliness and professional courtesy my wife and i were addressed with. I wanted to wait a couple of months before writing my review to make sure that we didn't have any additional problems out of their work, and i'm happy to say we haven't. it's hard to find good contractors which is why we are all here. Summers exceeded our expectations in quality and price.

    Professional Gutter & Drain
    Instead of flowing to the street through the drain, water was bubbling up from the ground around the pipe at the riser from the sump.  I made the expense mistake of calling the Basement Doctor first.  They were unprepared for the job/didn't know what they were doing. (Review on that to follow.) 
    I then called Professional Gutter and Drain which I should have done in the first place.  Called on the Wednesday before Memorial day and they were able to schedule me first thing on the following Tuesday morning.  At 7:30 I received a courtesy call that they were on the way and they arrived 20 minutes later.  Explained the situation and they got right to work.  Lance snaked the drain and found no blockage. Then he used a camera to view the entire drain back to the sump connection.  We could clearly see on the camera that there was no breakage either but water was laying in the pipe and back-flowing to the sump riser.  They determined the slope had probably settled since the house was built and there was not enough force to move the water out through the drain.  From there is was an easy fix for them!  They increased the rise and slope of the drain from the house by just a few inches and water started gushing out onto the street!  They then repaired the temporary connection made by the Basement Doctor, replaced the sod and dirt surrounding the hole the other company had left, and clean up the site the best they could.  All this was done in just over and hour!  Both gentlemen were very professional and friendly.  Most importantly to me, Lance explained everything and answered any questions I had so that I fully understood what was going on.  Professional Gutter and Drain will be my first call from now on!

    Chuck's Septic Tank Service
    The appt made by phone was a friendly interaction and the receptionist was very efficient. The gentleman who emptied our septic tank called before arriving on our appt date like I asked (so I could put my dog up). He was very friendly and professional. In order to access our tank with less piping and without having to go around obstacles (trees/house), he parked on a side street and hopped over the guard rail to do his job. He took time to educate my husband about the aerator's function and how to unclog it. We were impressed by the seamless ease of the whole transaction especially because we have had a rash of very bad service at some places lately. Chuck's Septic Tank Services provided stellar service at the right price

    I finally got my husband to recognize that our whole house humidifier was not working and went on to Angie's List to see what I could find. I saw the special deal for $34,99 for a check of the heating and AC system in the house. I called Hubbs prior to purchasing the deal to make sure that the check of our system would include the broken whole house humidifier that I needed to have repaired.  Supposedly, the woman I spoke with put a note on my account that we definitely had a broken humidifier that we desperately needed to have repaired.  I thought that would take care of things when I set up the appointment during the same phone call.  She assured me that the person they were sending out would have plenty of experience and would (hopefully) be able to repair the humidifier.  The tech arrived on a Monday afternoon (I am so very glad my husband was off work or this would have been a complete disaster rather than the minor disaster it was) and my husband and he went down to the basement where the furnace is.  He did a thorough check on the furnace and after several phone calls to the employee who specializes in "plumbing issues" found a clog in the water line going into the humidifier.  He repaired it and said "as long as that is dripping everything is fine". 
    Everything wasn't fine, as a matter of fact nothing was fine.  The humidifier still was not functioning because the "drip" of water didn't offer enough moisture for the air coming through the system to be humidified.  I was very angry that we purchased the "deal" and I specifically called before purchasing and asked about the whole house humidifier.  As a matter of fact, I was on the phone with the person from Hubbs when I bought the deal. It showed up in her system immediately and I scheduled the appointment right there.  So there should have been no confusion about our needs.  WE HAD A BROKEN HUMIDIFIER AND THAT IS WHAT I NEED SOMEONE TO FIX.
    When I called back the next morning, very irritated, I started the conversation with the woman on the phone.  I was really irate so I handed the phone to my husband to get this problem dealt with.  I wanted to know where the other $55 went and why my husband would now have to either go to Home Depot to try find the parts needed, take more time off work (and his full time school schedule) and repair it himself- or we would have to pay for a service call and parts to get it repaired.  I also wanted to know why they would send someone with absolutely no plumbing experience or skills to fix a humidifier.  It was best that I hand the call off or I would have verbally abused someone.  In fairness, I am in very poor health, I am on oxygen and the dry air bothers my lungs, sinuses, skin and several other things; not to mention that the house being drier than the Sahara Desert is really bad for the house as a whole. So I have less patience than I used to especially since I worked so hard to clarify everything in advance. 
    However, between my husband's careful explanation of what happened and my obvious frustration and anger, we had another appointment for later that day.  My husband stayed home, taking another day off work but it was well worth it.  The owner arrived and replaced several parts on the humidifier and my house is no longer drier than the Sahara Desert.  We tried to pay him for the parts but he insisted due to the confusion the day before that he would cover the costs.  It restored my belief in this company and I was very impressed when the owner immediately stepped in, discussed the problems with my husband while he repaired everything and then wouldn't allow us to pay for the parts.  I would have gladly paid for the parts as long as they covered the cost of the service call.  The owner is really invested in keeping his customers happy, that was obvious.  I will do business with Hubbs any time I need heating and cooling problems solved.  They were wonderful and worked so hard to make us happy and we are very happy.

    The Waterworks
    We had used Waterworks once before so it was a company we at least had some experience with. We knew they were not the least expensive, but wanted to use a company that would do the work right. Our previous job was minor, so their higher rates were not as apparent. We encountered their pricing policy then, but didnt know it was their standard way of doing business. Their procedure is to write up several estimates of more than you want done with a high price point. It then makes you feel you s re getting a bbc.co
