    My wife and I contacted Precision Building Service (���Precision���) to obtain an estimate to replace our eight-year old entry door, leaded-glass transom and sidelights whose wooden framing members had rotted and the leaded glass components had lost their ability to provide proper insulating value. John and Galen came to our home on a Saturday afternoon and spent several hours inspecting and measuring our current door, transom and sidelights, as well as, showing us the various options that we could choose from. In addition to the cut-a-way examples of the door���s construction, they carried full size examples of the leaded glass sidelights, hinges, sill plates and color options. The height measurement for our transom was smaller than normal and we had some concerns that this might prohibit us from having the leaded glass pattern in the transom match that of the sidelights. One of the other door replacement companies which represented the same door manufacturer as Precision had advised us that the door manufacturer would not be able to match the transom pattern to that of the sidelights. They could provide a transom with some of the leaded glass details but not all. Galen personally contacted the door manufacturer and provided them with the measurements and the pattern which we had chosen. Galen was able to obtain confirmation that the transom would match the sidelights and provided us with a detailed drawing of the new door which he received from the manufacturer reflecting matching leaded glass patterns in the transom and sidelights. Before making our final decision, we spoke and met with several other replacement door providers. Galen made us feel valued as a potential customer and that our project was very important to Precision. Every other provider that we spoke with advised us that it would be a minimum of twelve weeks before our door would be available for installation. Precision advised us that that they anticipated that the door would be ready for installation in eight to ten weeks. Our door was installed within eight weeks from the time that we placed the order. Precision is a very accommodating company. We really liked our existing lock set and asked all the providers if we could reuse it rather than purchase a new one. Precision was the only company that confidently told us that they could accommodate this request. All the other companies stated that it might be possible but recommended getting new hardware from them. Finally, we found Precision���s pricing to be very reasonable as compared to the other companies. It was interesting that when we advised the other companies of our decision to not utilize them for our project, some of them offered a price reduction as an incentive to choose them. We found this process to be disappointing. The price quote that we received from Precision was their best price. They don���t play games like some of the other companies do. The Precision team was upfront, honest and extremely professional during the proposal process. The installation process for our new door went very smooth. The Precision team spent almost as much time protecting our floors and keeping the dust/debris and cold weather from penetrating too far into our home, as it took to remove the old door, prepare the opening and install the new door, a great deal of time and effort protecting our floors and weather-proofing the work area. The outside temperature on installation day was in the twenties. Mike, Galen and Elmer were very organized, meticulous and thorough in both the removal and installation process. They made sure that the work area was thoroughly cleaned before the left. We are extremely pleased with the work that Precision performed for us and recommend them highly.

    We contracted with Window Pro to replace two sliding doors and 10 full-replacement Marvin windows on March 11, 2016 and were told it would take between 6 and 8 weeks for the windows to arrive. The first day of the install was May 16, 2016 which was 9 weeks after the order was placed. We were told that the installers would arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 but they were late and did not arrive until 9:45 and we were told by one of them that that had to leave by one o���clock as well. On the second day of the install they were once again late to arrive and continued to install the windows throughout our house. The third day they installed one of the sliding glass doors and removed the second one. When they got the second sliding door and started to install they realized that it did not open on the correct side. We specifically ordered one that opened on the left and one that opened on the right. They installed the second one anyway because the original door was destroyed being removed. We were initially told it would take a couple of weeks to get the correct door but later were told by the scheduling person it would take as much as 8 weeks. That was not acceptable to us and we continued to pressure them to get it here sooner because there was no trim on the doors and the room was a ���mess��� in our opinion. We contacted our sales person and that proved to be a waste of time. It took several calls before he even returned ours and offered no solution or assistance. When the new door finally came a month later a new crew of installers came too. They took out the wrong door and put in the correct one. They also corrected the many mistakes that the first crew made. The slider that opened correctly was not squared in the whole properly by the first crew and was fixed by the second crew. They caulked all of the remaining windows that the first installers neglected to do. The first installation crew made numerous mistakes and did not tell us and in fact tried to cover them up. They cut the wall paper in the kitchen and the painted dry wall by one of the sliders and never told us. They cut the wood flooring in our family room too short under the return air register and simply tried to cover their mistake with the register. When the second door arrived it was supposed to be keyed to match the first one but it was not therefore they had to come back two weeks later to replace the cylinders so one key opened both doors. It was not keyed the same again so an additional trip had to be made out to replace the cylinders. At that time they also returned with the correct screens for the five kitchen windows. We paid extra for high transparency screens in the kitchen but received the regular screens instead. We are extremely happy with the Marvin windows and doors but the customer service, installation and workmanship from Window Pro is sorely lacking and we would be hard pressed to recommend them for installing Marvin windows.

    They arrived when they said they would. The gentleman knew what he was doing. I explained a few issues we were having such as the keyless entry pad not working and a gap between the weather stripping and the garage door. He did a lot more than we expected. We got the a new wireless, keyless entry pad as well as new nylon rollers for the door for no extra charge. He also fixed the gap in the garage door and weather stripping. He lubed the garage door spring and adjusted the tension on the door opener.
    I would highly recommend Door Depot LLC to anyone looking for maintenance on a garage door or looking to replace a garage door. We were very satisfied with the work.

    Salesman had thorough knowledge of patio sliding doors and based on our needs and budget recommended the Polaris sliding glass door.

    An employee came out to measure within a week and provided good insight regarding our purchase.


    When the door came in we were notified and an install date was set up within a week.��

    As suspected, when the old door was removed there was damage that the installers thought there might be.�� They did an excellent job repairing the damage and installing the new door.�� Flashing at the bottom of the door was done to help prevent future water damage.�� They also took the time to put quarter round along the bottom of the inside of the door for a nice finished look.

    They take pride in their work and it shows.

    Would definitely recommend them to others.

    I called around 7:30am on the 13th when my garage door would not open due to a single broken torsion spring. I was told that they had an appointment that afternoon near my home and would be able to fit me in for a same-day appointment!  They said that they would be out either before or after their 2-3pm appointment.  As promised, Mike arrived somewhere between 3 and 3:15pm.  He quoted me a reasonable price up front ($189.00 - broken out below)...I researched the price of torsion springs online before I had the repairs done and knew they could cost between $40-$80 each.  Since the door and components were 15 years old, he recommended replacing both sides of the torsion spring and the main spring leading to the motor housing.  I agreed and, in total, all parts cost $124.00.  The labor for the service call was $65.00 - but it was worth every penny.  In addition to replacing the three springs, Mike also did a tune-up on the door and rollers.  The garage door has NEVER been more quiet.  Plus, he gave me some tips for annual maintenance and products that I could get at Lowe's/Home Depot that could keep the door running smoothly for years to come.  I will definitely use them again and have already recommended them to family.  Thank you and keep up the good work!!!!

    Brian immediately contacted me after I made the Angie's List purchase and we scheduled time on 9/1 to look at triple french doors and a slider that is rotting.  Brian showed on time and said that we would need to replace all the doors.  He called me with a quote and said he would bring samples to the house for us to choose.  Since that time, I have left multiple voicemail messages, when his mailbox was not full, and texts.  He called once and scheduled a time to come out the canceled 10 minutes before he was expected to be here.  We scheduled another time and he never showed.  It's disappointing because I really wanted to replace the doors and he seemed like a genuine guy. I would like to get a refund of $199 since services were never performed.

    Kurt and his employee are very professional, nice to work with. Kurt 's employee did everything alone and he is polite and arrives right on time. The punctuality is refreshing. He did the job as promised and very nicely so. He installed the water softener and the water filter very well and with great care. We replaced all the doors in the house and the new doors had to be shaved because they were a tighter fit. I also got him to do other odd jobs all of which were performed to satisfaction. They are both upfront and honest and they do a good job. This is why they are so busy but i will always wait to hire them because they can do most things and are worth the wait. Their hourly rate is also quite reasonable. Hire them!

    Dan, Tim, Kristi and the crew were terrific. They are pleasant, professional, conscientious and flexible. Projects of these types can have changes by the homeowner - this group is willing to listen to an idea, offer a professionals insight, and work with you to come up with a great end result. No remodel project or contractor (or homeowner!) is perfect, but Dan and his team did an excellent job of working with us. There were a few bumps, and as is often the case the work took longer than expected - but all for the right reasons. When we did find a problem or had questions/concerns, Kristi is at the office ready to get the answers or solutions. Dan and his team worked so well for us on these that we are going to consider using them for our kitchen update this summer.

    Most of it was great but we had an issue with the back door that they replaced on the house. The door was not hung properly and the owner needs to come back out to fix it. He said that he was swamped because of the Angie’s List deal. I have called 3 times in the last month and we're still waiting. They went over and above and helped us with everything else and we are and just waiting on the door to be fixed at this point.
