  They do not use soap which is a benefit. Once you use soap it is sticky and attracts dirt. They are phenomenal. They are just wonderful to deal with. They show up really early actually. 5 minutes early is just perfect. I wont have anyone else to do my carpet. I would use them again and I have recommended them.

  We had some stains that we were hoping they would take care of, and they said they couldn?t do anything about stains at all.
  They did some cleaning, it was fine. I don?t believe they charged us anything extra.
  But, it was kind of disappointing couldn?t take care of the stains. They didn?t even try to treat any kind of carpet stains!
  
  They need to be more receptive to requests by the customer.
  If they are cleaning carpet, you would think that they would be open to trying to take care of stains.
  That is kind of the purpose of carpet cleaning!

  Service was excellent. Very professional taking care inside and outside my home. They also check for warranty issues with my windows. They found one that the seal is breaking. The windows have a couple more years of warranty, so it's great to catch them before its too late.

  Downey Clean Carpet Cleaning

  I went on Angie's List and read all the recent negative comments about Downey.  I always do this when I am thinking of hiring a company.  I often find dissatisfaction comes more from a lack of communication than anything else.  So, armed with my questions, I called Downey.  I asked a number of questions about what type of machinery they use (several people had complained that they used the units that can be rented at a grocery store not the truck units).  I was very specific in wanting a truck unit because I believe they do a better job, and I had stairs that needed a good cleaning.  After he answered all of my questions, I scheduled for them to come out Thursday between afternoon.  I was told the technician would call me in the morning with a two hour window- he did.  He also told me he would call me when he was on the way- he did.  He arrived here at about 12:10.  I showed him the areas I needed to have cleaned; he immediately told me that my family room would cost extra and due to my diligence on the phone earlier in the week I knew that it would be an extra $25.00 so I was unsurprised.  I left him upstairs in the bedroom where he moved any moveable furniture- there wasn't much.  He cleaned my walk in closet and another small closet in the master, did the hallway and then started working his way down the stairs.  I watched as he came down the stairs and was absolutely SHOCKED at how he cleaned my steps.  He cleaned each step itself, then cleaned the edge where the dirt collects very thoroughly and then he cleaned the risers on each and every step. In 25 years I have never had a carpet cleaner clean the risers on my stairs.  I thought I was the only one who did that.  He was so careful not to leave any dirt at the edge of the step (the last time I had someone clean my carpeting I had to go back with my small spot cleaner and get all of the dirt that settled at the edge of the step that was left behind by careless cleaning).  He finally came down to the family room and spot treated the entire room.  He then got some kind of agitating machine out that brushed the carpeting in both directions.  He finally, carefully cleaned everywhere in  the room, moving all of the furniture a piece at a time putting it back on either plastic or raised styrofoam so that nothing was going to be damaged by the moisture or damage the carpeting.  He did an incredibly thorough job.  He took as much time to do four rooms as other cleaning companies took to do the entire house.  But, I didn't have to move the big furniture this time, he took care of that.  An excellent job.  If you are looking for someone to clean your carpeting, use Mike Hoskins because I will always ask for him in the future.  Nice, professional young man who clearly takes pride in his work!

  We had a couple of birds to get into the Laundry Air Duct, because the cover out side had gotten knocked off, and they sucked it all out of vent. and then made a new cover for it so that the birds could not get in.  This was excellent for them to take the time to do this.  We were very pleased.

  Canal Carpet Care

  I cannot say enough about Canal Carpet Care!  From the moment that I called to the actual install, everything was professional.  This is the second time that I used them. They were able to schedule us quickly and the installers were the SAME ones that came out the first time five years before when we carpeted our upstairs!  That speaks volumes about how much they love their employees.  They came out and were all business.  Great customer service. Great selection. Using them for carpet cleaning next week on our new home.

  The young man who came was friendly. We had used the company before for carpet cleaning, which was outstanding, and assumed the same would be true for this job.

  He unfortunately did not have the same attention to detail that the carpet cleaning crew had. I had to point out spots he was missing on the tile as he cleaned it, especially around the appliances (which I helped move). The appliances were brand new - in the home only 2 or 3 days when he came. I noticed when he left that the bottoms were splashed with the product, which in some place would not come off, despite all my efforts. I am fairly certain it was the sealer which was very glue-like but would not come off no matter what I tried.

  So, the tile cleaning job I would call average, it certainly looked better than it did before he cleaned it. That portion of the job I would say was worth the money I paid - $275.00.

  I also paid to have the grout sealed - an additional $137.50. I have done this before myself, and it is a very tedious and time consuming, albeit necessary part of the process. I decided to pay to have it done, because of this. Well, I was very surprised to see that the technician's approach to sealing was to pour out puddles of the sealant on the floor and slosh it - not very carefully -  around, covering the entire floor, not just the grout, using a rag mop which is not a very precise application by any stretch of the imagination. This I am sure is what was splashed on the new stainless steel appliances. I was too shocked to say much, and what was done, was done. I could not believe I was paying $137.50 for this. Had I known that was all he would do, I would not have contracted to do it. I was expecting sealing, not spreading. And with the rag mop, there were areas and corners I noticed later that had been missed. I should have called the company, but knew at that point I would just be responding in anger and I didn't want to do that.

  This was such a departure from the quality and care I received from the carpet cleaning, that I couldn't believe it was the same company. I would not recommend them for tile and grout cleaning/sealing.

  Master Clean Inc

  This was by far the best carpet cleaning experience I have had. Our carpet was older and had a lot of traffic dirt. The guys who came  Ryan and Jeremy -made a very concerted effort to really get it clean and make it look nice. They succeeded in doing that and we were extremely pleased with the result.  We were so pleased, we requested them to come for the other half of the house, and they did an equally good job. (It probably helped that the rooms they were cleaning were completely empty, so I can't say how it would have been moving furniture, but I assume just as good).

  The person scheduling was easy to work with, despite some rescheduling on my part, and the team was conscientious and did a great job. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I would definitely recommend them for carpet cleaning.

  Nationwide Cleaners

  Nic the technician was very thorough and explained the whole process. He didn't try to sell any additional services. When he left he mentioned other services the company offers besides carpet cleaning. The carpets look great. I would definitely use this company again.
