    I paid to have an enclosed deck installed. I made the mistake of paying Mr. Hobbs in advance. He started the deck...but then as he got busy with other jobs...it became more and more difficult to get him to come back out to my home to complete the job. There are gaps all over where the wood doesn't meet and he never installed my door so bees still have open access and are making nests in my deck. : ( I have tried calling and texting several times but he just now ignores my calls. I have pictures if anyone is interested in seeing how my deck was left unfinished. Also, he has left all of his equipment and mess in my yard for a month now and just never returned.

    Precision Overhead Garage Door Service
     Mike quoted a pretty reasonable price of 1309.00 for a new single garage door that includes material and labor.  My old door is an odd size and will need to be manufactured.  Mike told me the estimate is good for 90 days.  I will be obtaining other estimates of course, but I found the quality of the precision door to be what I am looking for.  I may be using their service before September 2014.

    Precision Overhead Garage Door Service
    A cable broke on my garage door.  Precision had a coupon in Angie's List magazine offering a service call for $39.95.  I had dealt with Precision before when they installed a new opener and was satisfied with that transaction, so I called them to come out for an estimate.  We set an appointment for between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.  Shortly after I spoke with the office, Johnny called me, stated that he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come out right then, to which I agreed.  Upon his arrival, he cast a cursory glance at the door and told me that it could not be repaired and that I would have to purchase a new garage door for $1100.  When I expressed concern at the cost, he said he could fix the door if I would purchase all-new cables, springs, and related hardware for the current door for just under $700.  He also pointed out a broken cable on the other door, which he said could void my warranty on the opener.  However, he said he would not mention that to the company if I bought the new door or repairs and paid $350 down that day.
    I told him that I wanted to get other bids.  He stated that the service call would be $59.95.  When I showed him the coupon, which I had mentioned to the person who took my call, he then said the service call would be $39.95 but I would have to pay an additional $20 for a written estimate.  I declined the written estimate, paid for the service call, and said I would contact him after I received additional bids.  I asked him if he would open the door so that I could get my car out in the meantime.  He refused to do so. 
    I then contacted two other companies for bids.  One was unable to come out.  The representative of the other company told me that the existing door could easily be repaired.  He opened the door so I could move my car out, replaced the broken cables on both doors and a spring for a total of $113.  Both doors are now working properly.   We also discussed new garage doors.  Because I refused Precision's written estimate, I cannot be certain I am comparing apples to applies; however, their triple door (steel plus insulation plus steel) sells for just more than half of what Precision quoted me verbally, and less than Precision wanted to charge me to repair the existing door.
    I was very disappointed that I was subjected to high-pressure sales tactics by a company I had previously worked with and whose coupon appeared in Angie's List.

    I called Davis Door Company for an estimate to replace a broken cable on my garage door.  Neil arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Although another company had told me the door could not be repaired, Neil was able to replace the cable and a broken spring.  He also replaced a broken cable on the other garage door.  Both doors are now working perfectly, and Neil cleaned up and removed all debris.  Neil was informative, professional, efficient and considerate, and I am more than satisfied with the repairs.  
    We also discussed replacing both garage doors.  Neil gave me brochures and explained the differences in the various doors.  The price he quoted, which included all parts and labor and tax, was just over half of what the other company had quoted me.  I will definitely be calling Davis Door Company when I am ready to replace the doors.  I will also recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

    Went very well. Removal was performed in a few hours, and the replacement culvert and supporting gravel was put into place. This was left to settle for week before the asphalt was applied. All was explained before work started.

    He came in and his name was John. I had three different estimates.The guys was very good and clean. There was a big crew who got the job done in a day. He did not want a down payment. He waited for the job to be done before he asked for payment. He also gave me a insurance form that said he would cover any damage. I am very please. The guys were very respectable and clean. And the next day the cutter came to cut the driveway because you cannot lay it and cut on the same day. I was very pleased.

    They first came in March to give me an estimate. I put down half to order and half to completion. They installed a garage door with back up battery, to open the garage if the power goes out. They were very professional and did a nice job. They are very reasonable.

    I've repeatedly requested that my lawn be mowed short and to either lower the blade or sharpen it, to do whatever is necessary to mow my lawn the way I like it but it just hasn't been done. I had to call the crew out for a do-over for pruning this year b/c the work hadn't been done according to my and Jeff's specifications. I also had to call him regarding a power wash of my house. His worker left before it was finished and even left some of his equipment in my yard. The same thing happened when they had to stake some of my trees. The tools were left but the work wasn't done. To Jeff's credit, he always made it right, until today, that is. I sent him photos of the lawn and asked that he come to my house to see the shoddy work that was done and he told me that he's not going to come and look at it and quot;again and again and againand quot; and for me to and quot;move onand quot;. We will not be servicing your lawn any moreand quot;. When I said and quot;This is a bad time of year to find someone to do fall cleanupand quot;, he said and quot;Well, that's your problem I don't care.and quot; So much for the customer always being right, eh?

    I used to clean houses for a living and I know how particular customers can be; they expect you to do your work w/a critical eye. If a customer was unhappy w/some of my work, I never argued but simply said and quot;I understand. I'll make it rightand quot;. And I did. I would never dream of telling a customer that it's their problem and I don't care. Bizzy Beez is paid really good money, higher than many companies charge, and I don't think it's asking too much for his crew to be professional and do the work the way the customer wants it done. I even went outdoors and helped one of his crew members to stake a tree. In the process he broke his glasses and in a fit of temper threw them, swore and complained that he still had two more houses to do. I could have said and quot;Well, that's your problem. I don't care.and quot; but instead I continued to help him until he finished the job.

    I feel bad that our professional relationship has ended in the way that it did but that was Jeff's decision, not mine. I simply wanted him to see to it that the work was made right as he has done in the past. My neighbor has commented to me how bad my lawn looks and today a friend stopped by and said the same thing. If he cares at all about his company's reputation, he would come and take a look at his crew's work and he'd satisfy a good and long time paying customer.

    They did an excellent job for us and were very professional. I recommend them for any concrete work that you would like to have done. Tim showed patience and professionalism while working under extremely hot and muggy conditions. He even came back later that day when there was a threat of hard rain to make sure that the sidwalk was covered if the rain became too hard and could damage it.
