    Universal Windows Direct
We have contracted to replace all 14 of our windows due to the thorough and knowledgeable presentation by Jake Frantz. He explained everything there was to know about the windows we were looking for. He demonstrated how the windows worked, locked, how they were put together, with a small mock-up window. He was friendly, not a high-pressure sales person, & honest. AND he gave us an extremely good price on windows for our whole house.

Rob Golembeski was very good to deal with and was very responsive if I had questions. The price was very reasonable and once I decided to purchase the windows they were measured, built and installed quicker than anticipated. It took two days to install, the weather was challenging with the late snow storms we had, but the installation crew was very good.

    Window Universe
All involved were very professional throughout the entire process and everything was clean as they left. Their price was also much cheaper (by almost 1,000) than several other well known companies. I would definitely do business with them again in the future!

    Integrity Windows, Doors & Siding

After getting three estimates we went with Integrity. From dealing with Tim the salesman To Jim and Jessy the installers could not have asked for a better experience. The door looks great and the glass sidelights light up our hallway.

Certified Craftsmen of Northeast Ohio, LLC
It isn't often that one gets more than he paid for, but in this case, I can only say that Tom Nevits went out of his way to provide just that kind of bargain.  Tom is the owner of Certified Craftsmen of NE Ohio, and is exactly that, a true craftsman.  He can do it all, but his specialty is carpentry, which proved fortunate for me, since all the aforementioned projects required carpentry expertise.  In each case, Tom did an excellent job either fixing, or restoring, things that had long bedeviled me, owner of an almost 60-year old dwelling.  He made short work fixing a warped furring strip on an exterior door.  He caulked it well to prevent moisture inflitration, which had caused the problem in the first place.  Next, he realigned our bathroom linen cabinet to its adjacent vanity counter top, a problem he resolved using a single wood screw.  Other contractors estimated it would take hundreds of dollars to fix that very same problem.  The final two jobs required more effort, but Tom was up to the task.  He replaced a badly damaged trim board that had been gnawed
by our dog when still a puppy, and installed a new one in its place.  He also got a balky pocket door, which had never worked properly since we moved in, to operate smoothly.  That repair wasn't even among the ones he agreed to fix!  He simply did it as a courtesy.  In fact, one previous contractor stated he wasn't even willing to work on this type of door, which Tom fixed for free in approximately fifteen minutes, because they present such a formidable challenge.  In total, these repairs exceeded the two hour time limit in his Angie's List offer, but Tom did not charge any extra money, except $14 to buy the wood he needed to repair the jamb, which he actually drove to the store and purchased for me!  Tom cheerfully knocked all these jobs out in a friendly and courteous manner.  I was very grateful, because not only did he repair things that had bothered me for years, he literally saved me hundreds of dollars in the process.  Tom is a savvy contractor, with more than 20 years experience in the home repair business.  As I stated, his specialty is carpentry, but I would trust his professionalism to tackle just about any basic job.  He promptly answered my calls and e-mails, he was professional, and personable, and most important, he provided top-notch work at a more than reasonable charge.  I'm glad I found Tom Nevits, and I truly would not hesitate to contact him in the future for any other home repair projects I might need done.

    Northeast Ohio Renovations
The work went very well.  Bob's crew started exactly when he told me the crew would, and they worked very hard (on hot days, along with a couple of rainy days) to have the job completed before the 4th of July.  The crew did a wonderful job cleaning up.  I had several questions during the job, and the crew was very helpful in providing answers.  Additionally, throughout the entire process from initial consultation to job completion, Bob was always available to answer questions.  The new roof looks great!

    Richwood Additions Inc
Our first issue started with the rough opening measurements Mr. Ollie gave to our general contractor to use. Mr. Ollie submitted the measurements for one of the windows written in feet and inches rather than in total inches which is the generally accepted format for windows according to the carpenter. So we ended up with a rough opening for a 24 window that was 21 5/8 because Mr. Ollie had hand written 2 5/8 on the spec sheet. Our contractor had to spend over an hour re doing the rough opening once the error was discovered.

Then, the products were 2 weeks late in arriving from the factory, and when they arrived in mid-June the window for our bathroom that was supposed to be 1/3 clear on top and 2/3 cascade pattern on the bottom came in all clear glass and the wrong size for the opening. Mr. Ollie blamed the factory for the error and substituted a window he had on hand that was a similar configuration and ordered new glass for the bottom. Based on the first issue we highly doubt that the error was in manufacturing.

We paid Richwood Additions, Inc. $5,012.57 for the single 24 window and sliding door as well as labor, but withheld $838.08 which was the cost of the bathroom window until the replacement glass was received and the work was deemed satisfactory. We notified Richwood Additions, Inc. of this in a letter dated 6/13/2014.

We finally got the corrected glass on July 3, 2014 which Mr. Ollie installed. We have now discovered yet another problem with the work done by Richwood Additions. When our contractor installed the window and door casing he found that the sliding door was installed tilted out 1 farther at the top than the bottom in the frame causing the wood work casing not to line up inside. And to top it off the bathroom window is also bowed out into the inside about 5/8 at the point where the clear glass meets the obscured glass and one of the handles to the locking mechanism is missing. And Mr. Ollie never came back to install the screens for the sliding glass door.
At this point we have no intention of paying Mr. Ollie the remaining $838.08 because of the extremely poor workmanship on the window and door installation. We are extremely disappointed in our experience with Andersen new construction / Richwood Additions, which is unfortunate because the whole reason we chose the Andersen product is because we have Renewal by Andersen windows and doors in the rest of our house and were very happy with the service and product we received from them. We initially wanted to use Renewal by Andersen for this project but were told that we had to go with new construction windows which were provided by Richwood Additions, Inc. as the local representative.

Home Exteriors Roofing, Siding and Windows
this was an extremely pleasant experience. Gary was very thorough on our initial meeting. The crew were right on time on the day of installation and did a great job. It was obvious they knew what they were doing and must have had years of experience. They were very careful to put drop clothes down wherever they might need them, and really cleaned up well after the job. You couldn't even tell they had been there! the installation quality was superb. Would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. I wanted to vote for them as best in northeast Ohio but we don't have a Facebook account. A Great experience overall, and they were the lowest bid!

After the replaced windows I find out two windows on the ground floor have curved sashes so you can't close them easily and three windows on the first floor have over lapping welds in the frames.I had to wait 2 weeks for somebody to come to check windows then another 10 days to bring new sashes and now  I am waiting for call to see when they going to make and replace three frames which is gonna be weeks.I had to cancel installation for my blinds and weather is getting hot and no protection from the Sun for my house until window nation finish job plus all frustration all this time. The worst thing is  when installation crew installed windows I bet they knew they  do not fit and those windows are faulty, they  never cleaned  leftovers from the welds so you can open and close windows much easier. They replaced few wooden boards(window casing)but not the main one which is rotten. For this kind of service I overpaid these windows. What else I can say?

I am quite pleased with their professionalism and service.  The gentleman who came out to our home in January to provide a price estimate was friendly, helpful, professional and not pushy. He was straightforward and I felt that he sincerely cared about providing the right services for us. He was great!  (His name was Eli.) I immediately felt comfortable doing business with them based on my conversation with Eli.
Due to the crazy weather we have had since January, my window installation was cancelled once and it took about FOUR weeks from estimation to installation. However, this was to be expected and I was understanding of that.  They were appropriately apologetic and called well enough in advance to reschedule installation.
This morning my windows were installed. The installer, Scott, was professional, polite, friendly and ON TIME!  He arrived exactly at the appointment time, which I appreciated.  He explained what he was going to do and how long it would take.  He was concerned about messing up my floors with his shoes, which I also appreciated as this showed he cared about his customers.  He worked diligently on my windows for approximately 2 1/2 hours and when he was finished, he cleaned everything up.  Again, he was as polite and professional as could be and I was very pleased.
The windows look amazing -- better than I expected.
I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!
