    Universal Painting and Window Cleaning
Jay and his team were very professional and, as always did an excellent job with our basement project. The work included a not-insignificant amount of prep on the walls, painting multiple spaces in the basement using three different colors, and painting a new ceiling. They were very proactive about maintaining a clean work space at the end of every work day, the quality of work was excellent. This is our third time having Jay and his crew paint some portion of this house, and they will always be our first phone call.

    Cohen's Painting & Papering LLC
We had Tim wallpaper 19 years ago and we asked him back to do another room because of how clean he left the area after he left. He was very professional and does great work. I would recommend him because of how nice of a job he does and he is very pleasant to work with.

    Garrity Painting
We hired Garrity Painting to paint the interior walls of our house. John Garrity was very responsive to our request for a quote and came out the evening we called him. He was polite and answered all of our questions with great knowledge. Due to all of these reasons, we hired him the next day. He started the job the week he told us he would. John and his assistant, Mark, did a superb job painting the walls in our house. They fixed minor repairs and painted some of the woodwork we requested as well. Our house looks beautiful! We would definitely recommend Garrity Painting to anyone looking for a painting company that works hard, does a wonderful job and is reliable.

    CMN Painting
Wallpaper was a lot more work then we expected to have taken down especially in foyer and great room because of the vaulted ceilings and the thinness of the walllpaper. We were concerned about the condition of the walls after the paper was removed and how they would look painted but we were reassured they would look good when the job was done. They were right ! The walls look like new . The painting of all the walls and trim is perfect !! We couldnt be happier. The crew was remarkable also . Weve never met so many guys that were polite, helpful and very VERY good at their job. We would recommended Chris and his men 100% . The job was done on time at the price originally given and better then what we expected . Thanks to Chris owner of CMN Painting and his crew our home is exactly what we wanted!!!!

    CMN Painting
Chris and his team did a super excellent painting job in my house! They thoroughly cleaned up the rooms after they had finished the painting. They are so polite and professional. My family like new looks of our bedrooms and bathrooms. They charged a reasonable rate and used high quality Sherwin Williams paints. I strongly recommend CMN Painting Company to anyone who needs a high quality painting work with fair price.

    KITCHENS BY LOGRASSO
Ron, Rick and crew did an excellent job in turning our kitchen into everything we wanted it to be. Both even gave us some suggestions that would enhance our design that we did use. They always cleaned up after their day's work. Quality of their work was excellent. We love our kitchen and would definitely hire again for other jobs.

    Snyder Bros Painting
Very nice! They worked with us to select colors and to fit our budget. They used top-quality Sherwin-Williams paint that covered perfectly. They cleaned up after themselves. We did identify some small areas that needed touched up, but they did that immediately, and without any hassles.

    Mazco Contractors Inc
From start to finish Brad and his entire crew (Rick, Jim and Marty) were extremely professional, punctual and pleasant to work with. Clean up after each day good. One of the biggest unknowns was how the wallpaper removal work would go and given that it in some cases the paper was up for 30 years what it would take to bring the walls to paint ready once removed but Brad assured me from the start that he would get the walls there and he and his crew delivered on that promise. Painting was exceptional and I would and hope to hire again for Phase two (lower level) which would again require wallpaper removal and painting.

    Airguard Restoration

I hired Airguard Restoration with promises from owner Gil that the project would be completed in its entirety, in a timely, professional manner. Unfortunately for me, this was the farthest from the truth and I am now left picking up the pieces from the nightmare Airguard Restoration left in my home.

As an inexperienced, first time home buyer, I researched my options and had numerous conversation with Gil before moving forward with hiring him and his team. He reassured me that the home I bought would be a simple job for his crew and that I had nothing to worry about. His quote was high but with his adamant claims that his company could handle the job, I trusted him.

Airguard Restoration was to treat my home with the following:

    1) run negitive air and hepa filtration

    2) remove carpet, pad, and tack stripe

    3) remove all window treatments

    4) dispose of site all materials removed

    5) hepa vac walls and floors as needed

    6) biowipe walls floors and ceiling with anti microbial and smoke odor killer

    7) seal ceiling and rafters with binz

    6) paint walls two coats

    7) paint ceilings

8). paint floors with sealer binz 123

    9). paint molding

    10). odor control throughout home

    11)duct cleaning and sanitization

They began the work and one week into the job I noticed that the work had gained little traction. By week two, the house had regressed. There were drip marks on the walls and molding, numerous windows were painted shut (all prior working and pristine condition, confirmed via my inspection), repaired drywall was painted over before it was sanded just a few aspects of the unsatisfactory work. During this time Gil was unresponsive to my texts and calls.

After ignored phone calls and text messages, Gil finally had the decency to pass along my concern to one of his employees who called me to apologize. He let me know that Gil was busy with other jobs and couldnt speak to me. At that point, I should have continued with my initial intent of firing Airguard Restoration from the job, but I was convinced otherwise by Gils employee. They offered a 15% discount and assured me that the labor that was originally put on the job was removed and that the skilled crew was going to finish the rest of the work that needed to be done.

I let this continue for two more weeks before ultimately having to remove Airguard Restoration entirely from the job. When I met with Gil and team to ensure they professionally removed tools from the house, he explained to me how they too wanted off the job - their workmanship surely portrayed this.

They wasted nearly five weeks of my time and refused to refund my 50% down payment they required I pay. Since being fired I have had two other contractors review the little work that was completed, appalled, they confirmed efforts will need to be duplicated. Aside from drip marks covering the walls, they carelessly placed a fan facing my wet foyer wall in hopes to accelerate dry time. Unfortunately, they did not clean up the drywall sand that covered my uncovered foyer tile and it is now adhered to my walls (also has paint drops all over).

Lastly, the biggest disappointment I am left to deal with is the numerous windows throughout the home that have damage to them from being painted shut, which will also now need repair. Working with Airguard Restoration was a complete and utter disappointment. What was sold to me was far from what I received and the frustration of dealing with such an unreliable company is something that no customer should have to face.
