    Bravo Home Improvement & Construction
It was an easy job. I couldnt do it due to my physical limitations. Jason Bravo competed the job quickly and professionally for $150. This is his minimum charge. We agreed to this price, over the phone, prior to starting the job. I would definitely hire him again if needed.

It went exactly as I expected. We have had Dietmar here at least two times previously (possibly 3, I don't remember) and he's as good as it gets. Not only is he VERY proficient at so many things, he's the nicest and most professional guy you could ask for. In all seriousness, if you need somethings done, call Dietmar now. He's very busy, books up quickly, and the faster you call him they faster he'll fix whatever you need. I am in NO way related to him or his business in any way, I just feel he really deserves the praise. Dietmar's the best.

    Gifford Remodeling, LLC
    1) Bathroom install:  Jay Gifford and his team designed and prepped the layout in the unfinished part of our basement.  He showed us options for fixtures and hardware.  Once we agree to the materials and start date they were fantastic.  They communicated with us every day to let us know of the status of where they were and any issues that arose.  They framed out the bathroom, hung drywall, laid flooring tile, painted and installed the fixtures.  The bathroom looks great!

    2) We also hired Gifford Remodeling to paint our finished part of our basement and first floor baseboards.  They were very professional and the work looks great.

    3) Lastly, We had them move some outlets, mount a shelf and TV bracket along with install several ceiling fans.

I cannot state how professional they were and their dedication to making sure they did things the right way.  The constantly checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking.

I would highly recommend Gifford Remodeling to anyone else!

Adam was very professional, helpful, kind and fast working.  He was very respectful of my home and wanted to insure that I was happy with the work before he left.  I would highly recommend Neatnics.

The caulking around the kitchen sink is not right. The stairway walls needed to be sanded and painted, but he just slapped some filler on them. The father usually does good work. We have used him in the past and he's excellent.

Certified Craftsmen of Northeast Ohio, LLC
It isn't often that one gets more than he paid for, but in this case, I can only say that Tom Nevits went out of his way to provide just that kind of bargain.  Tom is the owner of Certified Craftsmen of NE Ohio, and is exactly that, a true craftsman.  He can do it all, but his specialty is carpentry, which proved fortunate for me, since all the aforementioned projects required carpentry expertise.  In each case, Tom did an excellent job either fixing, or restoring, things that had long bedeviled me, owner of an almost 60-year old dwelling.  He made short work fixing a warped furring strip on an exterior door.  He caulked it well to prevent moisture inflitration, which had caused the problem in the first place.  Next, he realigned our bathroom linen cabinet to its adjacent vanity counter top, a problem he resolved using a single wood screw.  Other contractors estimated it would take hundreds of dollars to fix that very same problem.  The final two jobs required more effort, but Tom was up to the task.  He replaced a badly damaged trim board that had been gnawed
by our dog when still a puppy, and installed a new one in its place.  He also got a balky pocket door, which had never worked properly since we moved in, to operate smoothly.  That repair wasn't even among the ones he agreed to fix!  He simply did it as a courtesy.  In fact, one previous contractor stated he wasn't even willing to work on this type of door, which Tom fixed for free in approximately fifteen minutes, because they present such a formidable challenge.  In total, these repairs exceeded the two hour time limit in his Angie's List offer, but Tom did not charge any extra money, except $14 to buy the wood he needed to repair the jamb, which he actually drove to the store and purchased for me!  Tom cheerfully knocked all these jobs out in a friendly and courteous manner.  I was very grateful, because not only did he repair things that had bothered me for years, he literally saved me hundreds of dollars in the process.  Tom is a savvy contractor, with more than 20 years experience in the home repair business.  As I stated, his specialty is carpentry, but I would trust his professionalism to tackle just about any basic job.  He promptly answered my calls and e-mails, he was professional, and personable, and most important, he provided top-notch work at a more than reasonable charge.  I'm glad I found Tom Nevits, and I truly would not hesitate to contact him in the future for any other home repair projects I might need done.

    Call Paul Inc.
Paul has helped us over couple of years now. He is always punctual, professional and reasonable to work with. He also does an excellent job and declines a task if he feels he is unable to do it which is quite rare.

    The House Doctors
The contractor did a fine job.  He actually finished all the work under the allotted three hours, but since he did everything so efficiently I thought that the $99 Angie's deal was money well spent.  He even installed a three-switch light panel for me.  Update: Subsequent calls to this contractor have gone unanswered, despite several attempts by me to contact them.  I don't know if they are having some sort of a business-related problem, but I can no longer justify giving them the 'A' rating I had given them for their previous work.

    On The Job
As usual, Jeff McNab was punctual and professional.  He is both courteous and trustworthy.  He charges a reasonabe fee, he is easy to contact, and usually schedules his appointments promptly.  I had to wait less than a week.  He does excellent work, and doesn't try to run up his bill.  When it comes to contracting for general repairs, and/or updating household fixtures, all done dependably, and in a timely fashion, Jeff has become my go-to guy.  He should be yours, too.

    On The Job
Jeff McNabb is the handyman/ business owner of On the Job, who provided a coupon through Angie's List offering 8 hours of service for $249, which I purchased back in 2013.  At that time, he removed an ugly lamppost from our front yard.  He also constructed a teeter board for us, as I am considered dangerous whenever I pick up a tool.  Jeff tackled both jobs with such alacrity that once he finished, a balance of four hours remained.  I was unable to come up with any more projects, so Jeff offered to return at a later date.  Almost a year later to the day had passed before I called Jeff again.  Since so much time had elapsed I thought the offer may have expired, but Jeff good-naturedly agreed to return less than a week later, and honor his offer!  He not only made good on his offer, he actually exceeded the allotted time in order to finish a linen cabinet.  I am especially impressed that after so much time had passed, he not only honored his word, he came back promptly, despite having to alter his busy schedule to fit in a job that paid him essentially nothing.  I'm not even sure he was obligated to do that, but I would definitely hire Jeff McNabb again, based both on the excellent quality of his work and his trustworthiness.
