    Licaro Builders LLC
This is the 4th job we have hired Licaro Builders for at our home in Broadview Heights, if that is any indication of the regard we have for Jimmy and the folks who work on his behalf. He prices fairly, speaks honestly and directly, and his folks do excellent, quality work.

    CIRCLE FLOOR COMPANY
Don, the owner, in a very rude voice/ with a temper told me to take my business elsewhere hung up on me because I I took the old floor down to sub floor. This is not the way to treat potential customers. I try to buy service local, but this is one local business that will not be getting any of my flooring jobs that I need in my new house!

    KITCHENS BY LOGRASSO
Ron, Rick and crew did an excellent job in turning our kitchen into everything we wanted it to be. Both even gave us some suggestions that would enhance our design that we did use. They always cleaned up after their day's work. Quality of their work was excellent. We love our kitchen and would definitely hire again for other jobs.

    WESTBAY FLOOR SOURCE
We had our backsplash tiled with subway tile and mosaic trim. The installer did the majority of the install over parts of two days. It looked great. He then said the install was done except for one corner piece that he ran out of. He said it should arrive the following week and that he would call and pop in to install it. Two weeks later, my general contractor had to get ahold of him to finish the install, so basically it took two weeks to complete. That one corner piece doesn't sit flush with the other tile and is very obvious. The worse part is that the bottom of the entire backsplash that meets the tile was grouted instead of chaulked. The grout is already cracking after only a couple weeks.

    Frederick's Floor Covering And Cabinetry
Being new to the area, we were very lucky to find Fredericks Floorcovering and Cabinetry. This is a family owned business. They are professional, have an excellent sense of style and use installers who have been with them for years. We had beautiful carpet installed using a " Power Stretch method. " We have had carpet installed by other companies, in other homes. Fredericks was by far the best carpet installation we have ever had. In terms of hard surface we choose the wrong product, Florte by Shaw. It began to have problems with lifting within weeks of installation. One call to Fredericks and they were at the house the same day. Nick Frederick spent a lot of time and energy on our behalf with the Shaw company . Shaw wanted to blame the issues on us. Due to the amazing customer service and dedication by the Fredericks, we were offered a full refund from Shaw. We didn't hesitate to use this refund at Fredericks and with the help of Nick, choose a beautiful amazing floor. This kind of customer service, professionalism and honesty is hard to find. When it is time to replace countertops, Fredericks will be my first stop.

    Licaro Builders LLC
This is a long overdue review, given how happy we are with the work that Jimmy and his team of subs performed for us. The thing to understand about Jimmy is that when he takes on a job, he personally takes it on. He's not the one doing all of the work-he has trusted, long term partners (subs) for that. But, when it comes time for inspections, contracts, changes, and reviews of the work-he is there. It was not uncommon to see him 3-4 times a week to go over the work that was done, answer questions, and follow with his guys if something was done on which we wanted clarification.
Even in the places where we had hiccups-and any job of this size will have them-Jimmy was professional and action-oriented in terms of getting answers and resolving things. We've other changes planned for this house in the future, and I've no doubt that Jimmy will be at the top of our list when it comes time to look into that work.

    D Stephens Construction LLC
Danny Stephens, owner, D Stephens Construction LLC, did extensive repair and replacement work in our bathroom, including installing a new ceramic tile floor, and a new toilet.  Additionally, he repaired the floor and one wall in the bathroom.  The work was done over the course of several days.  I found Danny very agreeable, and willing to do all the work required.  He was responsive, also.  He returned right away (on a Sunday, no less) when I called him to correct a minor issue I discovered after all the work had been completed.  Most contractors won't do that, once they've been paid.

    Frederick's Floor Covering And Cabinetry
Frederick's is class act in every regard. It's a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere in their store. They were very accommodating in providing me samples on the various times I stopped into the store. It took me a while to make a decision on the floor color, so I was in and out of the store with samples probably more than the average customer. The appointment for the estimate was timely and informative as to what my options were. The installation took 4 days. The installer was a master at his craft. He?was polite, and he was conscientious of keeping my house clean by laying down drop clothes over every area that he walked upon. He kept his tools, the materials and the scrap very neatly organized and confined to small areas.? I could not believe how perfectly he installed the flooring without damaging any walls or baseboards. He had to remove all of the 1/4 round parts of my baseboards (which are painted), and when he replaced them, he did such a good job that?it didn't appear as if they had ever been removed. I thought I was going to have to do some touch-up painting after the job, but there was no need for it. The grout lines are perfectly?parallel with the kitchen walls, and the tiles were cut perfectly to butt up against the cabinet bases where there was no 1/4 round to cover the seam. The grouting was very uniform. The stair noses were also cut perfectly, and they?butted up to the stairwell?walls with no gaps. There were no dents anywhere in the metal stair noses or transition strips. There was one oak transition strip that went from the tiles to my hardwood floors, and it was stained beautifully -?a perfect match. The job is absolutely beautiful, and the Armstrong Luxury tile is warmer on the feet than?ceramic flooring. I already tracked mud into the house, and it cleans up very easily. I am very, very happy with this product and the?whole process.

    Calvetta Bros Floor Show Inc

These guys were great!  They showed up on time, did great work, and gave me information to follow up in the future if I needed any other assistance.  They also put up with me being right on top of them and asking tons of questions through out the entire process.  They answered all of my questions honestly and correctly.  I will not hesitate to contact Calvetta Bros with any flooring needs in the future.  I would not, however, allow any representative of G. A. Hommel on my property ever again, and if I was in charge at Calvetta Bros. I would distance myself as far away from G.A. Hommel as possible.

    Frederick's Floor Covering And Cabinetry
The flooring installation was excellent!  Removal of old counters and installation of tile backsplash was done by Bob.  When removing the counter top by the stove, pulled some of the paint off the wall.  Instead of telling us, the stove was pushed back so that we couldn't see it.  Luckily we had just painted and were able to repair the area without too much trouble.  When installing the backsplash, we had some minor issues with this same person.  He had put the same pattern in two rows right above the sink.  I noticed and he needed to correct.  Additionally, there seems to be a slight indent by a light switch that could not be easily fixed, so we left it because most people would not notice and fixing could present more of a problem than leaving it.
Scheduling was slow as the floor installer was on vacation for a month and they got back logged, but the job he did was excellent and well worth waiting for him.
