House Painting reviews in Broadview Heights

    CMN Painting
Chris and his team did a super excellent painting job in my house! They thoroughly cleaned up the rooms after they had finished the painting. They are so polite and professional. My family like new looks of our bedrooms and bathrooms. They charged a reasonable rate and used high quality Sherwin Williams paints. I strongly recommend CMN Painting Company to anyone who needs a high quality painting work with fair price.

CLEVELAND CUSTOM CLEANING & RESTORATION INC
Terrible! Ed Barcik provided an inflated estimate for work that was required on a house I purchased. Fully exploiting the purchase contract timeline, his employees did half of the work on the estimate and he demanded the full monetary amount of the estimate. When the seller of the house asked for a bill for work completed he never responded. The contractor never set foot on the worksite and put a lien on the house without notice or speaking to anyone. The work that was performed is terrible and needs to be completely redone. He has shone a complete lack of professionalism by refusing to answer phone calls from me, my agent, the agent's broker, or the seller that contracted with him. He has been blacklisted by my real estate agency. As you will see in the photos, the mortar joints of the repair area were doubled in size to skimp on material. A white mortar was used when the rest of the mortar on the house is grey. Because the joints are over an inch wide and the mortar looks to be improperly mixed, there are cracks throughout the entire area which will allow water to get in behind the stone. The estimate included additional stone to be removed and replaced, but that work was never done and would have be half the cost of the full estimate. Before the lien, the contractor had received 50% payment. Rather than handle this issue like a man, he chose ignore any reasonable request.

    Krokey Home Services
despite quick response from Bob Krokey we did not get a prompt service date. Service was scheduled for 10/1 but when his worker came he was not equipped to do the job and the worker was to discuss with Bob for a reschedule. Bob has since declined to do the work. The contract was for 8 hrs of painting for a job that when properly manned and equipped should take no more than 3-4 hours. I even asked for a new quote despite that Bob has never come out to assess the job personally. He has been non-responsive and I am sorely disappointed. I am requesting and expedient refund to my charge card.

The Deck Doctor House Medic & Painting Too
It went well. We had Deck Doctor replace 1 1 boards, as well as power wash and stain the deck. They did a great job on the deck. It looks very nice and the quality of work was great. We would have preferred more notice of when they were coming, the estimate did not accurately represent the number of boards that needed to be replaced, and at times, it was difficult to get in touch with the company, but we are very pleased with the work they did and the pricing was fair.

    Finish Concepts Pro Painting
We would highly recommend Finish Concepts without hesitation, and will certainly consider using them for painting needs in the future.
We read reviews on multiple painting contractors here on AL, and Finish's high reviews were a large part of our hiring decision.  We were not disappointed--in fact it was one of the best contractor experiences we have had.
Doug was very helpful and professional during our initial meeting, and all subsequent contacts (phone and in person).  His expertise steered us in the right direction to maintain our deck and improve its appearance.
Doug was on site for the entire job, and his crew was very efficient and pleasant to have around.  During the project, there wasn't a time when they weren't working diligently.  We have young children, and they were very patient with their interest in the project.
Finish was able to begin our job sooner than expected, which was great.
The deck looks much, much, much better than it did before, and the crew was professional enough to come back and touch up after an unexpected rain storm passed shortly after they finished the job.  We didn't even ask for this.
We were pleased that the deck was brushed, rather than sprayed.  It looks very well, protected our siding, and allowed us to use two colors of stain.
The only quibble we have---and it's very small---is that we didn't get the written estimate as quickly as expected, and it was higher than the original verbal quote.  When we noted this, Doug immediately honored his original price.  That and a slightly later start time than quoted on the 2nd day of work are the only reasons I gave a "B" for punctuality.  Neither were a big deal, and we hope these small issues will not prevent anyone from hiring Finish, b/c their work is excellent and their overall professionalism is very high.
Finish initially appeared to be one of the higher quotes we received.  However, once we asked some more questions, and got to the details of how the project would be completed, they were by far the best value for the money.
We are very glad we hired Finish Concepts, and we're enjoying our deck again.

    Garrity Painting
Overall service was excellent. I would definitely use Garrity painting again and recommend them to other people, We added onto our deck and wanted to refurbish the existing deck, then stain the entire deck so you couldn't differentiate between the new and old sections. We wanted our deck to look like "a million dollars" when we were finished and it did!

    Garrity Painting
Various attempts to correct the paint were made by contractor with negative results.  It was agreed that contractor would replace aluminum panels at his own cost and repaint the panels to match the rest of the house.  After months of wrangling with Mr. Garrity, the south side of the house was completed and painted on July 12, 2013 (one year after original paint job).
The east side (back) of the house has still not been corrected, and numerous attempts to contact Mr. Garrity to rectify the situation have failed.  Ever since this problem arose, Mr. Garrity has been difficult to contact and rarely returns phone calls or messages.
The landscaping on the south side of the house had been removed in anticipation of redoing it.  Plants were purchased in fall, 2012, and are still in pots due to the fact that the painting was not completed until mid-July, 2013.  Some of the plants have since died.  This created an eyesore for neighbors and a stressful situation for the homeowners.
Mr. Garrity has failed to live up to his numerous promises to make things right and has yet failed to correct the problems on the east side of the house.  One year has passed, and this job drags on and on.

    Trusnik Painting & Decorating
Leonard and his crew were punctual, friendly, hardworking and knowledgeable about their work. The estimate that I was given, was I thought very reasonable. I had quite a variety of work to be done. Removing wallpaper, painting, crown molding and chair rails placed, hardwood floors sanded and refinished, and even a small amount of outside painting. Everything was completed beautifully, and on time. I've had painting done with Trusnik painting at a another location and was just as pleased. I would not hesitate to call him again if need be. Super company to work with!

    Toth Painting Solutions
Toth Painting came out and gave us an estimate - which was also the final price we were charged.  Two very pleasant young men arrived at 8:00AM and immediately began working, scrapping, applying a primer and final coat of paint over about a 4 hour period.  The paint job came out very nice and they were extremely neat, not leaving any residual paint on the porch floor area or the driveway around the garage door.  We were very happy with the job and would definitely hire Toth Painting in the future.

    Garrity Painting
The whole experience from start to finish was great!  John spent as much time as necessary to explain the process, the various materials available, and answer any questions we may have had.  The work performed was very professional, and John and his crew were very courteous, professional, and neat.  John and his crew went above and beyond by doing the "little things" that made our home look brand new.  There was a lot of attention to detail, and John was concerned that we would be happy with the color and finish and with the work his crew performed.  He even resprayed some areas because he was not happy with the way they looked.
The crew covered all shrubs around the house as well as the porch and deck and made sure that everything was masked perfectly. They also performed cleanup when the job was finished.  The trash was bagged and taken to the curb for pickup the next day.
I am very satisfied with the price and the quality of work performed.  I will definitely use Garrity Painting again as needed and will recommend them to friends and relatives.
