    Rinaldi Physical Therapy
On the following visits except the 1st visit I was put with a new therapist and never had the muscle massage and treatment that was ordered by my doctor. I didn't know about the order difference until I saw my doctor again 3 weeks later. I am very disappointed in my treatment there and that the person I dealt with was not very friendly or very compassionate. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

The staff has been wonderful to my mother as they help her gain strength after surgery...with dementia she can be difficult at times but it does not cause a problem with the therapists...Mom is already doing much better with her walking and we look forward to a full reovery

    Rinaldi Physical Therapy
During the exam, Michael Rinaldi evaluated my range of motion [ex. bending over, lifting my chest up using my hands as support, ability to put my head in my hands propping up on my elbows] in several ways. After each of these activities, he asked me to rest for a moment and then rate how my back felt using the 1-10 scale for pain, determine if doing the activity decreased the area that I had initially sensed to be affected, etc.
After the exam, I rested for a longer period, and then he had me try an exercise that he had determined should bring relief, several reps of it. During the office visit, the exercise brought my pain level down considerably.
He then assigned me to do this exercise several times a day for homework [HW]. Also for HW, He asked me to become more aware of what times of day and events change the discomfort and asked that I follow up with him so he could continue to bring help me get to a pain free state.
I left his office feeling empowered and not at all overwhelmed.
When I returned for my first follow-up visit, I reported that both the pain and affected area had decreased. Michael applied some low voltage electrical stimulation to areas of my back while I performed a different set of exercises and I recognized how my sedentary lifestyle had led to my weak abdominal wall and back muscles- back in the day, I used to do these exercises easily without having to rest so much in between sets and reps. I feel as if I have found a personable therapist who is a master of BOTH the science and art of physical therapy. I phoned my family doctor and thanked her for recommending Michael Rinaldi.
