    GEORGE REYNOLDS PLASTERING
If only all contractors were like this guy.  He came in, gave me a quote, showed up exactly when he said he would, finished the work exactly when he said he would with minimal disruption to my household routine (including two very active and inquisitive dogs), and when he left it was so clean that you wouldn't have known he was there at all.  The price paid was exactly what the quote was.  The work done was outstanding.  When I painted I actually had to search for the edges of the repairs.  George is no youngster, and I hope he passes along his outstanding workmanship and professionalism to whoever he decides to pass the business along to.  Although I think if you ask him, he'll tell you he'll be out there working for quite a few more years to come.  Excellent job!

    Rockwood Painting Contractors, LLC
Carl and Thad did most of the repair and painting. They were very professional and covered all necessary areas so no mess was made. They were fast and courteous and moved furniture. the bathroom wall was repaired and looked as good as new, but kitchen ceiling was a problem child. They were not satisfied with the finish, so they returned for 3 consecutive days to build up the ceiling and blend in the swirls. I had received 4 estimates for this job and everyone of them said that short of smoothing the ceiling and restarting the "mudding" process, that I would be lucky to get a 65-70% facsimile of the original ceiling. I believe that the ceiling looks at least 90% and if you were not looking for imperfections, there is no way you would know that a repair was done. The painting was done quickly and precisely. I would not hesitate to call them again in the future, and I highly recommend them

I was fearful of the dust that would permeate the house from sanding the mud but was totally amazed and very pleased that there was none.  Dave does amazing work and before the job he sits with you and shows you all his certifications and insurance info and explains every aspect of what he will be doing.  The walls were so smooth after and quite ready for rimer and paint.  Also, if some problem shoud arise after the job is complete, just call him and he or one of his employees will come back and make it right.

530This a follow up review on a job I hired them to do back in the middle
of May 2012. About a month after They finished the job and (fixed) the
plumbing in the upstairs bathroom floor which I had pay extra for them
to bring in a plumber to replace a plpe that was leaking and doing
damage to the ceiling in the downstairs living room the patch job on the
ceiling opened back up because the pipes starting leaking again and I
called and told them that it was leaking through the LR ceiling and
getting on the furniture of my new tenants who had been there less than a
month and weren't to happy about it. House medic was not pleased or
eager to have to send someone out to fix a job they were already paid
for and they drug their feet and did part of it in stages and did a
lousy job repatching the ceiling and never completed the job. I
eventually hired someone to repatch over their terrible work. In the end
they emailed me a nasty letter and said it was not their fault and I
should never call again. Which is fine by me as I wouldn't dream of ever
having them doing a job for me again. In the sea of good and bad
contracters they definitely fall into the latter category.

    Rockwood Painting Contractors, LLC
I was impressed with the owner of Rockwood. I have nothing but good things to say about them! They were punctual, professional, and dependable. They were very meticulous and detail orientated painters; ensuring not a drop of paint was out of place. They also accommodated me by fitting me into their busy schedule. They were pleasant overall to work with! From start to finish, everything was superb! I will call him again if I need any other painting work and will surely recommend them to anyone I know!

-openers,the faucets no masking even painted the hooks never saw anything like it in my life.  Swished a brush of water/paint across floor and wood tool area and left it until I pointed out the mess-that is now smudged white and red as attempted to clean it on the day of their discharge still paint left-you would have to see it to believe it .  I have had 2 estimates since never seen a professional job as this--and is more -when bringing it to Todds attention after the fact-he did not really  see an issues--AND THIS IS THE ISSUE -took no responsibilty-said I quoted you one coat of paint, and it is a garage you said it did not have to be perfect(had talked about the plaster I did want hundred of dollars of plaster work done)-take by word the job was horrid.  He said well you did let us finish-who in their right mind would let you-I have pictures and stand behind my feelings. I paid the job off. Will not have them back. I am aware thins go wrong but if the company owner is unresponsive good luck to you.

    Custom Drywall & Plastering
I had 3 quotes for the job. Custom Drywall was by far the least expensive, which I would expect given that it was a relatively small job.
They gave me the quote the previous week and performed the work as promised. One gentleman performed the work, taking all morning and part of the afternoon to complete. He cleaned up afterward. I would highly recommend if only want to have the drywall fixed, and don't mind performing other non-drywall related tasks, such as painting and replacing the damaged insulation. The other companies offered the complete repair, but at a much higher total cost.

The crew arrived, moved the items that needed to be moved and began to tear out the damaged surfaces (damaged walls, wood and flooring) .

They put up new drywall (mold resistant) where necessary, and painted the remaining surfaces.

The last task was to pour the epoxy floor with the color I had picked ... they matched all the chosen colors exactly as I asked!

    What a refreshingtly different experience!

    Joe Guerrieri Construction & Remodeling
In fairness to Joe Guerrieri, he had several employees / contractors working for him at the time. He did not do all of the work but was responsible for bringing in workers and other contractors who performed various services for him. I had no complaints with: 1. The kitchen cabinents-- these were installed correctly. 2. The shower head-- also installed correctly. 3. The various electrical outlets-- these were also installed correctly. 4. The mulch that was laid down- this was fine. However, everything else was shoddy and was done incorrectly. 1. The drywall was not hung correctly. It is not lined up correctly and is not level. Several sheets to this day, still need additional screws and the drywall "sags" in certain areas of the home. 2. The carpet was not installed correctly- it is bunched up and has hills and valleys. The carpet was not stretched or installed correctly has many "speed bumps" throughout the entire floor. 3. When he replaced the kitchen and bathroom flooring, he neglected to put down an underlayment, which has caused all of the existing tile to crack. Many of the ceramic tiles are cracking because he took shortcuts and put no underlayment down when he installed the ceramic tile. 4. The painting that was done was very sloppy and he used one color (against my wishes) on the baseboards, walls, and ceiling. 5. The kitchen faucet was loose and was not installed correctly. He overcharged me for the work; his prices were exorbitant. Moreover, when I called him about the shoddy workmanship months later, he blamed the work on the people that used to live in the home. The bottom line is that he took shortcuts in the work and made errors that would only show up much later-- after he already had gotten paid to do the work. Moreover, I feel that after talking with him on several occasions-- he lacks professionalism. I would strongly recommend never using his services to anyone. Any questions or if you would like pictures of the poor workmanship, email me: matthew.huberty@gmail.com
