Best Waterproofing crew were very professional, polite, always on time, completed all work as promissed and cleaned the work area each day. Best waterproofing also completed the job with a great looking design to the top course of each wall. Their price was very reasonable and included a warranty. The cost was well worth every cent paid.

We'd just recently moved into our home, and right off the bat our basement flooded several times. We contacted a few companies to see what our options were, and got varying results.

Ohio Basement Systems sent out a consultant to take a look at our issues, and they recommended an interior WaterGuard solution along the crawl space and the basement. We decided to go with them. Even though the solution was expensive, avoiding a moldy basement that could have a negative impact on our 2 year old daughter's (and our entire family's) health was worth it to us.

Once the install crew arrived, they began their work and the foreman noticed that the source of flooding had come from an additional location that was not picked up during the initial visit. Obviously, knowing this was a very expensive solution to install and was a very significant investment for a family who had just moved, I contacted the office to discuss it, and the folks at Ohio Basement Systems ended up sending out a crew to fix this additional issue at no charge so that we didn't need to worry about future flooding. They kept in touch with me the entire time to make sure this additional work was performed timely and done to our expectations.

I've dealt with a lot of companies since moving in, and I appreciated them standing by their work and doing everything they could to make sure we had nothing to worry about. This is what differentiates a company from a great company. Our move has been a stressful one, but the effort put forth by Ohio Basement Systems to take care of our water issues has put our minds at ease where our basement is concerned.

It's tough to find people these days who will do a good job and stand by their work, but if you're looking for a company that will, my experience with Ohio Basement Systems says they will.

    Thank you guys.

They're a fine, professional group of people. Very friendly and considerate. I would highly recommend them.
If I had one consideration it is that they could have hung visqueen or advised me to do it; they were breaking up concrete in the basement and the dust got through the whole house. I spent the weekend dusting ... especially the electronic equipment!!

Without a single problem!!!!  If you use someone else....that is your fault. Don't let anyone drill holes up your walls or tell you they will need to remove glass block windows to remove the concrete. Other companies offered similar systems but wanted twice the money and couldn't justify why they were higher.   Go with Guardian!

When asked for a written estimate he tells me he will only do that if I agree to the contract.  When pressed to have this off the cuff estimate in writing he takes a business card out and writes a $ amount down and nothing else!  Don't bother with this guy or his company.

When Mr. D'Apolito was able to dig, he found the repairs needed were more extensive than anticipated. He definitely went the extra mile in making the repairs needed. It is very hard to live out of town and arrange for services, but he was always responsive to phone calls. I highly recommend him and his company and would definitely use him again. It's great to find such a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and professional repair company.

I am totally satisfied with their work.  Brian and Chuck the co-owners were there each day and supervised a crew of 3 to 4 workers. They showed up on time and cleaned up before they left each day.  I was told it would take 6 days to complete and they were finished in 5 1/2 days.

The cost we paid was the same as  the estimate.

As a bonus they re-rigged water pipes and a couple of electric lines - we paid for the materials only.

    I would highly recommend them.

One caution - be sure to cover your belongings, because a lot of dust is created when they dig up the trench.

Outstanding workers! Prompt, courteous, and pleasant. They did beautiful work, and yesterday and today there have been flood warnings; and a lot of rain in addition to a lot of melted snow. Yet our basement is dry, a welcome change of pace! They cleaned up every day. Our basement looks great. I would recommend them to anyone requiring a dry basement.

Water was seeping through my basement walls on one side of my house. The places in the basement where water was seeping through were beneath outside walls of exposed brick. Craig Callow came to my house, inspected the problem, recommended a solution, and provided an estimate. He recommended digging along the outside wall where the problem was occurring, replacing the footer drainage pipes, sealing the outside walls, and adding additional gravel for drainage. He was confident that this fix would solve my water problem. The initial project was performed in June 2009. I was very satisfied with his crew and the work that was performed. They completed the project in a timely, professional manner. The problem was, this expensive project did not fix the problem. There was initially a mild improvement, however, whenever a strong rain occurred, the same walls became wet. Two years later, I contacted Craig Callow, hoping that he would address the problem, based on the and quot;Lifetime Guaranteeand quot; he provided. He stated that his company had correctly performed the work that had been contracted, and that water must be getting in from somewhere else, such as through the brick or the siding. He stated that his company was not responsible for watter getting in from other places, even though he had assured me that his work would fix the problem. He recommended someone to inspect the siding, and no problems were identified. I requested a partial refund, because I was clearly going to have to invest in additional work to address the ongoing water problem. He refunded $175 so that I could have the basement walls painted to cover the water stains. His crew came and applied some additional sealant at a slightly higher level on the outside walls at no additional charge. At the current time, I continue to have water seeping in through my basement walls in the same places. Craig Callow displayed no concern that he recommended and performed an expensive project that did not fix the problem.
