    The Honda Store
    The battery in my wife's 2015 CRV failed yesterday. After about 30 minutes on the charger the car did start. It was too late in the day to get to The Honda Store. As I had to leave 6:30 AM for medical appointments in Pittsburgh, I put the charger back on the battery overnight, removing it when I left. My wife told me that the service department told her that the battery was covered under warranty BUT......because I had charged it, it would not be approved for replacement. I spoke to the service manager while returning from Pittsburgh - he told me that the battery did not fail the test that is required for replacement. When I asked why the car would not start yesterday he had no answer. When I asked if the old battery was perfectly good he said it was. $150 cost that should have been under warranty.

    Mike's Prestige Detailing
    I called to set up an appointment with Mike and he called the day before the scheduled work as a reminder. I was impressed with Mike's enthusiasm to do a fine detail to my wife's Toyota Corolla. He explained what he was going to do and how pleased I would be. It was nice to know he has been doing this type of work for 26 years. He called later that day to say the car was done and I knew before I saw it I would be pleased. It was perfect and I couldn't be happier about the quality of the work performed. I am a business owner and know about customer satisfaction and I have to say that Mike's work, attitude and ambition is what I was looking for. I would recommend Mike to anyone wanting a quality detailing experience anytime.

    They are very thorough. They are priced fairly for the customer. Very courteous. Free loaner car while your car is being fixed, just have to pay for gas. They stand behind everything they say. They work on all GM cars. They will bend over backwards to help you. They searched out the exact truck that I wanted!

    Things went great . He found the problem , fixed it , and we're having no problems. There were also some bad circuit wires which "Tim " found and fixed those too. We always have him go over the entire car if we have to take it in, so he's found things that were starting to go wrong that he alerted us to, and we'd make a decision about what we wanted to do. He always calls us to tell us what's going on . and waits til we give him a 'yes' before he goes thru with fixing things. He also gives us an approximate price . If it's going over the price he quoted us, or he found more problems, he will let us know . We've never had a problem with him returning phone calls and we've been dealing with him and his company for over 20 yrs ! We 've referred alot of people to him and they've told us how great he is, how much cheaper he is than other companies, and they were very happy with the service he provided. We ALWAYS take our cars to McMichael's , no one else. If he knows it's going to be something more complicated that he can't fix, / or doesn't do, he suggests other mechanics that he knows and we go to them and tell them "McMichael's" sent us. He is honest and dependable , and gets the job done.

    after making appointment, the service people told how long it would take. they were within 5 minutes. with no extra charge they told me of an update that was needed on my vehicle that was a factory recall.this also was taken care of at no charge.
    they even washed my car and 2 days later called to see if everything was fine.
    I have purchased 3 cars from these people and have never had a complaint. they not only made a beliver out of me on Subaru
    but I will be a loyal custiomer as well. they are outstanding

    Diagnosed my problem and provided a reasonably priced solution, and told me what I might expect down the road. Guira's is the only place I trust with my car anymore. Mr. Guira is honest and fair. I always feel I've been treated right. Though there are shops closer and more convenient to me, I always take my cars to Guira's.

    When the work was completed, there was a new noise coming from the wheel area that had never been there before these guys worked on my car. The owner put forth all kinds of possibilities for the cause, but refused to actually look into what it could be, and instead tried to tell me that "maybe" I needed to replace other tires. I took the car to another shop, which immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it, confirming that it was caused by the work this shop did. Although this place is located in a convenient spot for me, I still take my car to a more distant shop that I trust. I will no longer use them.

    I think it was on PayPal that I saw this ad for getting a $25 Shell gift card for $5.  What's not to like.  I do pass a Shell station on my way home from work but it's very difficult to drive out of.

    Bellino's Lube Plus Oil Change
    They provide good, friendly and economical service.  They seem genuinely concerned.  They rechecked the door and they rechecked the 2.38.  It is a nice and stable company to deal with.  I always felt their price was good.

    I had front-end noise for several months that suddenly got worse, in addition to a new grinding noise when I hit my brakes. That was on Thursday evening. I suspected the wheel hub needed to be replaced. On my father-in-law's recommendation, I called Friday morning and set up an appointment for first-thing Monday morning.

    When I arrived, the gentleman at the desk was very courteous and respectful. He said they were all caught up and that they'd get to my car right away, which was important because I needed my car before noon. A short time later, Jason called to tell me the work that needed to be done, that it would cost $145, and that the wheel hub was fine. He recommended some maintenance to the rear brakes for an additional $45, but did not pressure me at all. I agreed to all the work, and within the hour, it was all complete. Krissy called and said I could come and pick it up.

    When I arrived, Krissy was very kind and courteous, told me the total, took my check and handed me my keys. Needless to say, the brakes felt great and I was so delighted to hear nothing but silence in the front end as I drove away.

    Overall, a very positive experience. I've dealt with less-than-courteous, arrogant and condescending service managers and shops in the past. Smith Brake is the antithesis of those places.
