    Dermatology & Skin Care Associates
I had been suffering from a combination of impetigo and cystic acne for a couple of months and my antibiotics form my regular doctor just weren't cutting it. I was very unhappy with the last dermatologist I had been to a few years ago (report on that one to come later), so I wasn't sure who to go to. I need to find a doctor who'd see me ASAP as impetigo is very contagious, plus I wanted to limit scarring, etc. and look at least half-way decent when I got to meet the Backstreet Boys (don't laugh!). Any way, I had been going through names I found on here, trying to find a dermatologist I could see soon, and a receptionist for a nearby dermatologist told me about Dr. Muennich. I called up her office and instead of having to wait months to see her, I only had to wait a couple of weeks (she was out of town for a week or it would've been sooner). She wasn't at all like my last derm., who dismissed me as having regular acne and trying to push products and services on me. Dr. Muennich checked me out and then told me that I have rosacea/adult acne (the impetigo had gone away by then . . . but every time it was gone before it'd show up a few days later). She told me that I don't need to use so many products because adult skin is different from how it was as a teen. I was given a very simple treatment plan (an oral antibiotic 2xs/day, topical antibiotic at night, moisturizer day and night and just wash with gentle soap . . . no acne cleanser) and it's made a huge difference. This was the exact opposite of what the last dermatologist did. The other one just wanted to sell chemical peels and skin care products whereas Dr. Muennich actually cared about clearing up my skin. I will have to look into skincare or treatments for the redness when I go back, but the most important thing was killing the cystic acne and making sure the impetigo stayed gone. Hopefully she can help with the redness, too. Also, I thought it was nice that while she talked to me she also looked me over for odd moles, signs of skin cancer, etc. (the one before didn't once bring up skin cancer or sun protection). It surprised me, but it was a relief since I have very fair skin and a lot of freckles and moles. Oh, and one more thing that I loved about the visit is that my follow-up appointment doesn't require me to have to take off work (they're open until around 6, I think, where as others close at 4 or 4:30 and have all their Saturday appointments booked far in advance). Also, as far as friendliness goes, Dr. Muennich and her staff were all very nice and I actually got to see the doctor in less than 10 minutes. It was great experience overall and I highly recommend Dr. Muennich. :o)

    Pranav Sheth MD
I really like Pranav Sheth. He is friendly, outgoing, and down to earth. His staff is excellent as well. Around here, it is hard to get into a dermatologist, and I was able to get into him very quickly.

I have been a patient with him for about 3-4 years now. He was referred to me by another friend. Dr. Diab is not weird and he is very sweet, professional, and thorough and checks for cancer. Everybody in the office is very nice and friendly.

    Oelrich, Dr. Dennis M.
I was able to make an appointment within two weeks of calling. The office was nice and the staff friendly. The doctor was about 20 minutes late in regard to seeing me at the scheduled appointment time. He was very patient and listened attentively to my problems. He explained the treatment that he was prescribing and scheduled a follow up visit to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment. Overall, I good experience.
