    Excellent. When we dropped the mower off the staff person said we could probably go ahead with the tune up and most likely that would take care of the problem. This is a "package" service. For a flat $99 they do a complete overhaul of the mower including sharpening the blades. Buckeye took care of the tune up and whatever the issue was , it is now resolved. The mower is working better then ever. The funniest part was when they brought it out to my husband, he thought they were giving him the wrong mower. It looks brand new, and believe me, it didn't look that way when we brought it in!

    It didn't. Made an appointment. Confirmed twice. Kept someone home just for the service call. Day of, was told couldn't come out and wanted to reschedule a couple days later. Didn't seem to care much about it either.

    I bought an Angies List deal for a mower tune-up. These guys did a great job cleaning up the mower. They even replaced a bolt that was missing on my mower. They were prompt and responsive. I will be using them again next year.

    Our 2 year old lawn mower wouldn't start and after doing some research online found out that the carburetor might need cleaned. This looked easy to do, so hubby attempted it, but when putting it back together there was a pin that came out and he couldn't figure out how to get it to stay in. I found Buckeye Mower here on Angie's List. I went on their website and found it easy to maneuver around. I liked the convenience of scheduling my appointment right then. The website is very informative of the services that are offered, the cost, and any area to type information. I received a text to remind me of the appointment the day before. Russ arrived at time of appointment and was very informative about what needed to be replaced. He had me come outside to show me the problem and where all the pieces went in the carburetor. Tuneup was completed and he tested out the mower by doing a few rows in the yard. We will definitely use his services again if have another issue with mower or need a tuneup.

    They started the mower before I left their shop. (they had issues).  I continue to have the same issues.  Mower runs but is hard to start and appears to still have an issue with the carborater/float. I can tell the blade was sharpended but the grass is not cutting consistantly. I wish I would have been given better feedback at pick up - thinking I may just need a new mower.  People were very nice and did a good job of follow up while they had my mower.

    John showed up right on time at my house, which was great as it was much more convenient than trying to lug my mower somewhere.  He performed the tune-up as described in no time at all.  The first time I mowed it was skipping, so I was skeptical about the work, BUT I still had some old gas in the mower from the previous season and that seems to be the culprit because since I cycled through the old gas the mower has been operating very well.  I know he checked the oil level, but I wasn't watching what he was doing so I don't know for sure if he replaced the oil and I forgot to ask.
    The only criticism I have is it took a couple days for him to get back to me, and I wasn't able to talk when he called, so I had to wait a few extra days to get service scheduled.  However, he was able to get me scheduled on a good for me, which I believe was actually the next day.
    I would definitely recommend this provider and will likely use them next year.

    Other places I had called were backed up for weeks and the grass was growing fast.  They were able to get it fixed in seversal days and now it starts on just a few tries which is the best this mower can get.

    I was told upon purchasing the big deal that the service provider would contact me to set up an appointment time. I received and email from the company on 2/26 saying I could call them at any point on 2/27 to schedule an appointment. I tried to call multiple times on 2/27 and several days after even leaving a handful of voicemails. I never heard back from the company and even noticed on the Angie's List website that they believe the company is out of business. I'm requesting a refund of my $59 big deal at this time.

    I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. A $49 deal turned into $200, but the lawn mower had a problem so I am not going to complain about that. They were fine and were friendly. They had the lawn mower for a long time. Once they thought it was fixed, but it started leaking oil so they had to do more work. If I knew it was going to be so much, I would have bought a new lawn mower. One the one side they were very friendly and nice, but on the other side I had to make four trips to that store for various reasons. The biggest problem is that they told me the mower was ready so I went to pick it up, but it wasn't because oil was leaking.
