Business Description: As the third generation of a successful family owned and operated auto-body repair business, I expanded by opening a third location in central Ohio. We pride ourselves on being a quality-driven, insurance-friendly and customer-satisfaction-focused facility. We repair all makes and models, are certified, and make towing service and rentals available. We are easily accessible to the eastern Columbus area including Blacklick, New Albany, Gahanna, Reynoldsburg, Pataskala, Whitehall and Pickerington. I started working in my family’s body shop when I was 11 years old under the watchful eye of my father. My father instilled in me the idea that quality was our first priority. I will always remember him saying to me, “Son, take pride in your work. Every car that you do has your name on it.” For almost 30 years, I have worked in the body-shop industry. I've painted and repaired vehicles with my own hands, written accurate and fair estimates, managed some of the best technicians in the area, and built relationships with many customers and insurers. I am most proud of the work that I have done for some celebrities. I have personally painted cars belonging to Jay Leno (a Porsche 996), Lebron James (a Bentley Continental) and Rahal Letterman Racing (an Indy racecar). Although I have enjoyed working on these prestigious, high-line cars, your Civic, Corolla, or older pickup truck will get the same attention. At the end of 2006, I had a great opportunity to open a body shop of my own. I wanted this shop to be different. I wanted this to be a place where the employees were happy and our customers were even happier. I also wanted to work with the insurance companies, not against them. Rieser’s Autobody East opened in January 2007. I started work in one building, doing all the repairs and office work myself. Soon, I was hiring technicians to keep up with the referral work I generated. By April 2007, I added another building and more technicians. In October 2007, we expanded to another building. My wife, Marte, left her job in May 2007 to work for the business, running the office full-time. I would love you to meet her. She is friendly, caring and professional. I could not do this without her. All of the customers and our suppliers love her. She makes the process so much easier for our customers. She will work with your insurance company, arrange any services you may need (such as rental or towing), or just be there to listen. She is customer-service oriented and will work to make the repair process as seamless as possible. We don’t always meet our customers under the best of circumstances. In fact, most have just been in a car accident. Most people don’t even know where to begin. We try to make the process as easy as possible. We can arrange for towing and a rental. We will work with your insurance company during the claims process. We perform timely repairs so that you are not without your vehicle any longer than you have to be. And like I said, we listen to you. I believe that I have lived up to my father’s high standards for repairing and refinishing vehicles. I strive to instill his ideals in my own employees to this day. AI always think they're a little too pricey. I can come in without an appointment and they'll take me. I always have used them and always will. I like my service manager, Chris. He's been with me pretty much since I've had the car almost, probably at least six or seven years, so he's great. I like that. My salesman, even though he's not there any more, he was great. They take me, regardless. If I call and say I need to come in I'm always able to get in. The waiting room is nice. It's very roomy and spacious, with comfortable seating and a TV, a coffee station, water. Between the service staff and the sales staff, they're always making sure that you don't need anything, so it's really nice. They offer a loaner service, but I've never had to use it, because usually when I schedule it I don't mind sitting and waiting.- David H.

AThe warranty period is over on my vehicle, so I pay for the oil change and the routine maintenance. They told me everything that they did and everything that would be coming up. We went through a complete checklist. They do a really great job of communicating, getting you in and out and keeping you informed of what is going on while the work is being done.- ALLISON K.

They were dogged in their determination to fix all problems, and provided terrific service while trying to keep expenses down. BMost have been warranty work. I do not care for the price. It was overpriced. They do a good job. I will go back for a second repair. They're professional. I bought a couple of cars there, maybe three and they've been decent. To get a higher grade, they should have lower prices. They're pretty good with professionalism.- Stu S.

Attempted to make a claim with Toyota Direct using the additional protection package. My wife & I both remember a very rosy & optimistic scenario described by Ms. Ward on the benefits of this additional coverage. What we found out is theat this coverage is provided by a third party and not the dealer. The third party provider is Innovative Aftermarket System. When I went to the dealer to make a claim that is when I found out that we would have to:
1.)Provide a copy of the front and back of the warranty. 2.) Color pictures of the damage. 3.) Fill out a Polyshield Questionnaire making sure we answered all of the questions completely & sign the form.
The maximum amount provided for our particular claim (scratches/dents) would have been $50.00 per occurrence. Now I am not attempting to discourage your purchase of this "additional" protection. That is strictly up to you, but I would suggest you ask for a copy of the warranty and ask the salesperson to show you specifically where each of their "alleged" claims are identified in the actual warranty clauses. I personally would never buy this protection again. All I did was provide the dealer with an additional $600 of profit.
I ended up not filing a claim. I felt it was going to be denied and I did not want to jump through all of the hoops required to file a claim when I was already pretty sure of the outcome. You can decide for yourself whether the coverage is worth it.

ABrian and the rest of the associates were very professional and polite to my wife when she pulled in to the shop to drop the car off. They even waited around until I could get there after they were closed. Needless to say they stood behind their work and parts and did not charge us a dime. AI drove in unannounced for an estimate for exhaust replacement on a 2000 Chevy Silverado late in the day. Beany's was very responsive and completed the estimate giving me quite a few different options for the exhaust (factory vs. a number of custom options). A price was quoted. I returned with the vehicle for the service a couple of days later. The vehicle was taken in immediately and although they had to get a couple of parts from a local supplier, the vehicle was ready when promised. As far as the exhaust work is concerned, I am very happy. I never thought my truck would be so quiet.

AI have nothing but good things to say about them. They got me in that day and then didn’t charge me for it. They are the closest service station to us. We’ve been using them for 4 or 5 years. They always do a good job. Brad, who is the service tech for our stuff always keeps me informed. He is very professional and very courteous.
