    THE TAILOR'S DEN
She does an amazing job, and the cost is more than fair. Any dress shirts, pants, and suits I buy off the rack, she makes them fit like custom-made. At a fraction of the cost. You will need to be patient, she is very busy for a one person operation. Most work gets completed within a few weeks. It's worth the wait.

    THE TAILOR'S DEN
She does an excellent job. She is very kind and pleasant. The pricing is fair and commensurate with the time involved. She is a one-person operation, so you will need a degree of patience. The work is worth the wait, if you want it done correctly.

    Alley's Alterations
I called to schedule an alteration appointment, and Alley got me in right away that day.  After I arrived, I tried the dress on with my shoes, and then Alley examined the hem - the dress style had a shorter and layered hem in the front, and longer in the back.  She then started to pin the dress.  She called a few days later to schedule another fitting to check the dress length and make sure I was ok with it before she started cutting fabric.  After the second visit, she was done later that week (very quick).  When I came to pick up the dress, I tried it on to make sure - the hem was perfect!  Not too short, and not too long.  She was able to keep the short train in the back of the dress, and the front/layered part of the dress looked great.
I also asked her to remove a faux gemstone broach from the dress.  I might have been able to take a seam ripper to it and remove it myself, but I'm glad I left it up to her :)

    PERFECT ALTERATIONS
It was fine. They did a good job. She did an excellent job and I recommended her to my daughter as well. You couldn't even tell where it had been altered. It was a difficult job. We had delays on it. We had 3 layers of sheer fabric. She said that it would take 3 weeks doing it but she got it done less than a week. It was like a really rushed job but she got it done on less time than she would take.

    Hammond Enterprises/Celebration Creations
We contacted Linda by phone. She responded within 1 business day. We scheduled an appointment for her to see the gown.
Her place of business is well organized and has parking available. She was very knowledgable and professional. We left her the gown for primlimary alterations. When we had the first fitting she had temporary changes done which were perfect. She also had the pieces of lace that were removed for me to take home for the veil. When we picked up the gown for the final check it was perfect. She was very creative in the bustle for the gown- and did little fixes, like a zipper pull. She made sure we knew how to bustle the dress.
Linda was a pleasure to work with. She had good suggestions and was able to offer options. Final alterations were shortening the gown from the hem including many underskirts, filling in the v-neck slightly with lace and shortening at the shoulders.
I would recommend her to any bride needing alterations.

    Alley's Alterations
Allie had me come to her home immediately when I called. She has a nice facility in her front room with a privacy screen to change into the clothes. She pinned the pants and discussed altering the sleeves of the jacket which had a split seam and gold buttons as decoration on the sleeves. She quoted the price, explaining vinyl is more difficult to work with than leather. She promised a week and they were ready exactly seven days later.

    Dry Cleaning Station
Professional service, good quality cleaning and repairs.
We just moved here from out of state and I was dreading having to find a new dry cleaner/alterations place because we were so happy with our place where we came from.
In the past few months of being here, we tried out multiple other dry cleaning places closer to where we live in Bexley and were not happy with the quality, price, or service. Then I joined Angie's List and found this place based on its positive reviews, which I now know why it has earned.
I drove up to the place to drop off all my stuff and the staff was friendly and accommodating--even though I got there within 10 minutes of closing due to snowy roads. They patiently listened to my requests and added me into their system.
They also said they would deliver the cleaned and repaired items to me all the way in Bexley a few days later, which they did at no extra charge so I don't have to drive up there. The manager/owner himself dropped off our first order, and introduced himself. Talk about personal service! He gave us a bag with our name tag on it to use for future pick-ups/drop-offs and we used the wreath hanger for them to leave the orders when they are finished.
We are happy to have found our new place, and are thrilled with the old-fashioned customer service that you never find anymore, professional, friendly, and courteous staff, and the quality of their work.

    European Tailoring
My mother and I were looking for  an alterations company that could do major alterations.  My mother has experienced several sick spells which resulted in approximately an 80 pound weight loss.  The majority of her loss was in the shoulders, arms, chest and waist.  My mother has a lot of very well made clothes that she did not want to get rid of as you cannot find these well constructed type clothes today.  Because my mother is disabled and on oxygen, Sue at the tailoring company made an exception and has been coming to our house to work on these clothes and to work on some of mine as I am disabled also.  She has worked wonders.  The jackets, blouses and skirts look like they were just made they fit so well.  My mother's clothes were size 24W and she now wears about a 16-18.  You cannot tell that these clothes were ever a size 24.  Sue is fantastic!!!  We tried first with an alterations lady but that did not work because she was not experienced enough to do actual tailoring.  European Tailoring is a wonderful tailoring company and Sue can do it all.  She is a wonderful person to work with.  This is an ongoing process and we just love her work and her personality.  She is also going to make me a skirt that I cannot find in the stores in the color and material that I want.  If you want something expertly tailored, then European Tailoring is the place to go.

    The Fur Vault
They had a seamstress complete the job, which resulted in substandard work. The shoulder pads are crooked, the hem at the bottom the of jacket is not straight, the jacket is much too large, and the lining of the sleeves is larger than the sleeves themselves. Very poor work! I have been back in touch with them since. I was called for another fitting and told them of my concerns. I picked it up again and brought it home and it was much larger and had many other defects. I then phoned them to request a full refund so I may take my business elsewhere. Their only resolution was fix it again themselves. I cannot trust them with my coat again. There only excuse was that the girl must have been in a hurry. I do not feel they are qualified to handle this job. I told them they had lost a customer and they didn't seem to care.

    Callander Cleaners
I dropped off the jacket early in the week of April 23, 2007. It was to be ready after 4:00 p.m. on April 27. I did not attempt to pick it up until Monday, April 30 at which time I was told they "were still working on it because they had to order some zippers". I was told it would be ready Tuesday. I did not attempt to pick it up until Thursday, May 3 at which time they spent 15 minutes looking for it and coming up with a different story this time why it was not done. This time the story was the "person working on it had not been in all week". When I asked why the story had changed from the one I received on Monday, I got no response. Unfortunately, this establishment has a history of poor, poor customer relations. Finally, I was able to pick up the jacket on Friday, May 4, one week after it was promised.
