    He recommended that I did not do any kind of surgery and gave me some recommendations for therapy and it had worked out very well. I give him a lot of credit because he could have just made some money off my surgery.  He was doing what was the best interest of the patient. I was in the office for no more than an hour. I did not have any problems the price.

    Well, I gave them a higher overall rating because in the past my extended family has been to the facility a lot and had good experiences there but this particular night things were not so good. The ER is brand new and that makes it clean and really nice, the nurse we had was grumpy and hard to find, information was delivered sparingly and for some one who spent from 9pm - 6:30am in the ER information on discharge was somewhat spotty.  They released my wife with a suspect diagnosis and it had a different meaning to this hospital staff than to her regular care team. If I had thought I could move her on my own I would have taken her to a different hospital to start with but I was to worried to fight about it.  She was back there a few days later and spent the night in a room for chest pain, later decided that it was from the fall. I'm hoping that we just ended up on a "D" string night and that the regular care there is better.

    PATIENT ACCESS--Before reporting to any department for any diagnostic testing, registration with the Patient Access Department is required. This provides the paper trail for billing matters and establishes database information regarding my testing as well as knowledge of my presence at the hospital. I checked in with the security personnel in the lobby and was entered into the registration queue. After a very short wait, a Patient Access representative came to get me to take me for registration. She verified my pertinent information and updated my files. She was efficient, polite and caring. I was given my consent forms to sigm, wrist name band, paperwork required for the tests to be done and directed to the Department of Laboratory Sciences.
    DEPARTMENT of LABORATORY SCIENCES--I arrived at the laboratory and signed in with the receptionist. I had hardly been seated when I was directed to the drawing station and was met by one of the medicial technologists. She verified who I was, put on her gloves and drew the required tubes of blood. She was efficient, caring and kind. She applied a small dressing and I proceeded on my way. My total experience was very positive in every way. This is one of the reasons I deal with Lutheran Hospital, one of the Cleveland Clinic facilities.

    Southwest General Hospital is part of the University Hospital system. We have grown up with SGH in the area, and overall we are satisfied with the service that it provides. The only niggling thing I would have to say is the crowding in the Emergency Room facilities but hopefully they will take care of the problem.

    Everyone is friendly and provide prompt service. There is no problem. Once I thought that my wallet was still there with new credit cards and drivers license. Two weeks later I get a call from the manager saying that my wallet was there. I don?t think he is competent.

    My experience has been pretty good. That's the only pharmacy we have used so I don't have anything to compare it to. They have been pretty punctual on filling out our prescriptions. I would recommend them and use them again.

    It is very convenient. They call and remind us that our prescriptions needed refilled. The staff is really nice.
