Basement Waterproofing reviews in Berea

  • Although I did not choose Airguard Restoration to solve my problem, I found Gil Gotlieb, the owner, to be very professional an with a very helpful attitude.  His follow up communication was excellent and he seemed very sincere in wanting to help solve my problem.  I chose another contractor who offered an alternative  solution that was less expensive.  I considered Airguard restoration throughout my selection process as a possible contractor and would not hesitate to consider Gil and his company again.

  • It went amazing. To say that I am uptight about my yard, landscaping, and lawn is not an exaggeration. Brandon and his crew removed and replaced landscape walls, lights, and plants. The entire project took about 6 days and when they were done, the only evidence was the dirt trench that was waiting for the new grass to grow. The whole time they were at my home, they were extremely neat and clean. They were respectful of my neighbors yard too. This was a big project, they had to remove and repour sections of my cement walk way. My husband and I could not be happier with the work. It wasn't money we wanted to spend, but it had to be done. We have recommended him to several neighbors and have invited interested people over to inspect the work. Since the initial install, Brandon has come out to inspect the pump and replace a part. He returned my call 9 months after the project was completed promptly which was much appreciated. Just want to add that digging by hand was much less destructive than using a back hoe. We had many estimates over 2 years. When Hart Masonry gave us our quote after examining the property and listening to our problem, they hadn't pulled out of the driveway when we knew they were the ones for the job.

  • Our area has had several strong rains in the last few years that have overwhelmed our downspouts.  Water has
been leaking into the basement.  Prior attempts to fix the problem have not stopped the water from entering, and Olivieri was
called on 8/4 to give us an opinion on solving the problem and an estimate for doing the repair.  Rocco Olivieri met with us the same day he was called, and began the repair work one day after we authorized it.  He and his crew worked through several difficult problems caused by the overbuilt construction of our house.  It was constructed in 1965 and previous owners had added thick concrete reinforced with steel rebar next to the foundation.   This took significant time and effort to remove.   Olivieri and crew completed the work we initially agreed upon, but it would not have solved the underlying drainage problem.  Significant additional work - nearly double the original distance -  was done excavating the foundation until good drainage tile could be connected to the new footer tile.  Even though the job was larger and tougher than estimated, it was completed in 4 working days and beat two days of heavy rain that followed.  As we agreed when the additional work was authorized, the cost for the repairs increased also.  At
all times during the repair, Rocco and his crew were helpful, answered our questions, and asked our opinions on options.
So far, the basement is dry and cracks in the block walls have closed from the reduced pressure on the outside.  We are very pleased with the work, and we are now ready to begin additional repair projects in the basement.

  • Back in November we hired Integrity Waterproofing to come and waterproof our house.  During our initial meeting they explained very clearly what they planned on doing, what materials they chose to use and why, and how this all affected the cost.  When the work actually started, they were professional, conscientious, and also courteous.  When our house threw them a curveball, they explained how plans were going to have to change, but did not increase their rate.  I wanted to wait to write the review in order to assess how the work turned out.  After numerous heavy rains our basement has been completely dry and we are very pleased with the outcome.  The project was completed on time and the work performed was of high quality.  I would recommend them to anyone needing a waterproofing job done.

  • We called John because we thought that we had a pipe that needed to be dug up and replaced.  It turned out that is not what we needed so we ended up not needing his services but can highly recommend him.  He drove all of the way out from Avon Lake to Berea to diagnose the problem.  He checked our crawl space for issues and gave us options.  He went above and beyond because even though he is not an indoor plumber he checked out some plumbing issues we were having and told us exactly what we needed to do. I would definitely use him if we ever need his services.  He was so personable, friendly and knowledgeable.  He wasn't out to make a buck he genuinely wanted to help us!

  • The big deal from Tomorrow Home Solutions worked out good. I believe there were no additional charges than the big deal. They noted that I might want to consider getting some work in the future but nothing catastrophic. I thought that it was going to be just inspection but it pretty much came out as a sales pitch. That was not what I was looking for. The price was fine but it didn't seem like too big of an inspection. I think they were coming out to try to sell. The price itself seemed fair but it really didn't turn out to be what I thought I was paying the 49 dollars for. The responsiveness was fine. He was on time. The professionalism was rough. At the end they tried to push real hard to make some kind of sale that day. Anything might happen but I don't think they would be on top of the list if I need those services.

  • had to reschedule due to lots of rain this summer, but I felt very safe to have him do the work while I was gone for prox 2 wks after he just began job, he came back later and filled in top soil along new driveway and was as careful as possible with my plantings. He was recommended by a friend and I have received several positive comments on the work he did.

  • It was less than impressive. I had to pay for an estimate. When I bought it, they sent me an email saying "Okay, contact us. We'll set it up." Then when I set something up, the guy showed up early. He claimed to have called me, left a message then he left it. I was there 5 minutes before I set the appointment and he's already gone. I had to wait two weeks for him to come back out. For something that I paid money for, I wasn't impressed with the level of service. It's just a pry one, buy one again to be honest. After reading other reviews about the company, it's saying the same thing. There were no additional charges.

  • It went much better than I expected!  The job was done in less time than I expected and the outside area looked better than before the started.
I  waited several months to write this review in order to determine the job was done right.  Throughout the heavy rain we had for over a week due to the super storm Sandy, I never had even a damp wall or musty odor in my basement. JOB WELL DONE!!!!
I am extremely happy with the work done on my house and recommend  Integrity Waterproofing to anyone that wants the job done quickly and correctly!

  • From the start, I was impressed with the professionalism of Integrity Waterproofing. Steve Allen came out to gave me an estimate and did a thorough examination of the basement walls, checked out the existing sump pump, inspected downspouts, and wrote up an estimate and talked me through the details. He was very professional and thorough and there was no pressure at all. After scheduling (and once weather cooperated), his team was punctual and left my landscaping better than it started - unbelievable! I did have some issues after the job because this muddy clay water (thanks to the fact that my soil is mostly clay) came into my basement on the first heavy rain. I called the office and Steve came out to look at it and brought a plumbing contractor who pressure-snaked a line for me that was clogged up from clay.
I've waited about a year to post this review as I wanted to have the job truly tested by some heavy rains and we had a
pretty dry summer. Before Steve's team came out, I had 2 rivers of water flowing from my back nook to the lowest part of the foundation, which is a capped out drain. In addition, it seemed to pool up the worst right by the partially finished side, where it threatened to destroy drywall, carpeting, and furniture and electronics. Now, after quite a few heavy storms (including the start of Hurricane Sandy rains), I have not had ANY water come in. I hope it stays this way as he said my only other option if water comes in back there again is for his team to come back out and install a second sump pump outside the house.
Overall, I am very happy with Integrity Waterproofing and happy to have a dry basement!
